Cabin vacation rentals in Netherlands

Some cottages are just cottages. And some are silences in which you find words. This was one of them. Received with two beers. No welcome folder with rules, but a lighter at the hot tub and a feeling of: "you are exactly right as you arrive here." The view? Horses. Grass. Breath. The smell? Wood fire. Coffee. Spicy memories of last night. The vibe? Between flights and coming home. I came here to write. To be alone. And to close a chapter. Mission accomplished. Gelmer and Nienke have built something that is right. Not because it's big, but because it's the right size. Every detail feels like it's been chosen with care, from the record player to the bed in which I actually slept like a man without deadlines. Tip for the next guest: bring something you can let go of. We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The apartment was exactly as described—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was excellent. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, making it the perfect place to relax. The host was incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating, ensuring that we had everything we needed. Their attention to detail and hospitality truly made our stay special. We would 100% recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a great place to stay. We can’t wait to come back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Together with our dog Bèr, we had a very nice time at Angela's. Bèr could sniff around in the well-kept garden, so we could relax. The hot tub and stove make it extra nice to enjoy and nearby you can walk well. There are plenty of restaurants to visit within a limited driving distance. Definitely recommended (also in the future for ourselves)!

What a wonderful place! Beautiful B&B, everything looked neat. And Maaike is a TOP hostess, you can ask her anything and she helps with everything. Highly recommended! We especially enjoyed the beautiful garden, we will definitely come back here again.

We enjoyed Kirsten's cottage. We had booked the cottage for our Honeymoon, and it is really a romantic place. It is wonderfully quiet, you can enjoy the birds and sounds of the forest. The house is full of comforts and nicely decorated. The conservatory was very cozy, with the fireplace, really a nice place. We made good use of the spa: sauna, outdoor shower and hot tub. Floating and drinking in the hot tub was a favorite. And the bed slept really wonderfully, which is nice! Norg is in a beautiful area. Easily accessible with the bicycles that you can use at the cottage. The contact with Kirsten went very well, she responds immediately when you have a question. She had arranged a sweet welcome package for us. We enjoyed it and would love to come back.

It was a nice place to stay. Beautiful on the river. Delicious jacuzzi, a party to light yourself with blocks of wood. Lovely cozy private place. The area is great for hiking and biking. Cute place within walking distance of eateries. Kiona was always friendly and ready to help us. Totally fine.

we had 2 super fun days in Stefan's wellness. Spakenburg is very cozy and fun to walk through. We especially enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi. The cottage was very clean and everything was present. Thank you Stefan! Kind regards Cynthia and Mathijs

Wagma greeted us with a smile and was so welcoming. She walked us through the steps for using the sauna, fireplace, and hot tub. We loved that the hot tub was fire powered! We felt like we were in our own oasis even though we were so close to Efteling and the town. It was very easy to drive and park in the area. The floorplan was unlike any Airbnb that we have stayed at. We felt like we were at a resort. This place is perfect for a restful vacation.

Johan is a nice and friendly host. In addition, extremely flexible. The cottage is beautifully located in nature and is easily found. Also many options for following beautiful walking and cycling routes. The bathroom and kitchen are simple which is fine. There is a heater available which contributes to the “forest feeling”. We have completely relaxed.

The cottage is packed with amenities. Good speakers for nice music (thanks for the CDs there!), the view is really a 10 and through the fenced garden the dog could be lovely outside. Recommended!

This place is a real treasure. The house itself and the garden are absolutely beautiful, very cozy and clean and everything is attended to. Right from the beginning you can see and feel the love and work that Rose is putting into it. You‘ll find a lovely place in lovely surroundings out in the Dutch country side, but still close to everything „touristic“ you might want to do and see. The place is also perfect if you travel with your dog, since it‘s fully fenced and there‘s beautiful walking possibilities all around you. Rose and her family are very friendly, welcoming and always helpfull if needed. In short: We really enjoyed our stay together with our dogs and can fully hearted recommend it to anyone, anytime.

We felt very comfortable and can only recommend this accommodation. With the bikes you can start many great tours from there and the supermarket around the corner has everything your heart desires. We had 4 great days in the beautiful house. The great thing is that it is super usable in both good and bad weather and invites you to simply relax. Fireplace and sauna for rainy days, the large terrace for hot days. Really recommended. 🍀 In addition, the kitchen is equipped with all the essentials, so you can start cooking right away.

We greatly enjoyed a night in the beautiful accommodation. The accommodation is optimally cared for and wonderfully spacious, clean, well-organized and easy to cool by means of the air conditioning. Nice! The private garden completes it all. The hostess is friendly, accessible and clear. Huge 5 star (and your money) worth it! Highly recommend!

A great location! We enjoyed it very much: walked wonderfully, played the guitar and cooked. Exactly matches the photos and is even nicer in person! We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed it very much in the very nice and tastefully decorated house. Located on the farm, very clean, view of the countryside, well equipped, nice owners - what more could you ask for :-) We also enjoyed the occasional animal visit of the chickens and the very sweet and cuddly cat Sjors. We had a wonderful week at the "Château Weiland" including deer, storks and other animals that we could observe well with the provided binoculars. The promised breakfast was lovingly prepared and very rich - thank you very much! The accommodation is an excellent starting point for cycling tours in the Drentsche Aa and Groningen. The musical instrument museum in Eelde is also highly recommended!

We had a great week at Tjeerd and Laurie's lodge. The accommodation is modern and tastefully furnished and the garden around it offers optimal privacy. The view of the horses(care) is very nice and fun. There is a lovely bed, nice shower, washing and dishwasher, in short, equipped with every luxury. Tjeerd responded quickly and kindly to our questions. The surrounding area provides a lot of peace and relaxation. In just under half an hour, we walked daily to the beach with beautiful luxury beach restaurants. In short, Tjeerd and Laurie, thank you and we'd love to come back!

We had a wonderful week at the Duinstudio. Particularly noteworthy is the equipment, everything is available, from kitchen accessories to the equipment in the bathroom with plenty of towels, bath mat, etc. A warm welcome from Annelies, who was always there to help. We really enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden after a bike ride or a hike. Here, too, everything is well prepared, nice seating areas, charcoal for the grill, wood for the garden fireplace. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back!
