Our big stucco house is just below where the Blue Ridge Parkway meets Skyline Drive in the Rockfish Valley. Nearby Route 151 leads to wineries, 3 breweries, a cidery and distillery. Our site offers great views and hikes in the forest on our 70 acres near the Shenandoah Valley. You’ll love the views and learning about this Straw-Bale insulated and geothermal heated home. Includes a complementary full fresh egg breakfast provided on one weekend morning from our free-range chickens.

Edge Hill-King Room

Edge Hill is a Historic country Inn situated on 56 acres mid way between Charlottesville and Lynchburg . It was originally owned in the 1760's by John Loving for whom the town of Lovingston is named. The current structure was buit in 1893. Conveniently located just off the Route 29 corridor for easy access to local wineries, breweries, cider works, distilleries and and numerous recreational opportunities. You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind Log Cabin Studio. We call it, The Cabin-ette. Featuring a King Sized bed, well appointed kitchen, comfortable seating area, and casual dining area, the Cabin-ette is great for extended stays or just a couple of nights. Breakfast is included (hot breakfast service is available from March - December), along with access to the pool, trail system, pavilion, tavern, lake and the remainder of the 130 acre estate/farm.
