Rural group escape with hot tub

KimRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We went as a group of 9 hens and we had the best time. Our hosts couldn't have been any more helpful and friendly. From the second we arrived, we were welcomed and shown how to sort the hot tub out (which was amazing!) and they had set up the bbq ready with coal included and a quick lesson in how to use it as we were definitely winging that one! The property itself was amazing. Very spacious, clean, everything you needed in all rooms. We were able to go a little earlier to decorate ready for the bride to be to arrive which was fabulous! The surroundings were beautiful and there are lovely walks right on the doorstep. We had such a good relaxing time there and it was a perfect setting. Thank you both (and your beautiful daughter who was such a great helper when you came to sort the hot tub) for letting us you beautiful holiday home. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a lovely relaxing weekend.

Pretty two bedroomed cottage in quiet rural area

CarrieRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a lovely stay at Linda's house! The house was spotlessly clean and well-stocked. She very generously provided us with tons of food, which we really enjoyed! The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. Linda herself was very kind and we enjoyed meeting her. The house is ideally positioned to enjoy Gower!

Henllys Lodge

Henllys Lodge was a gem of a find! a beautiful home from home, garden and surroundings teaming with wildlife to see and hear, and a great base to venture out to the local village or further afield. Hosts had thought of everything- food to feed the birds, cupboard full of games, welcome basket, handy notes. Mike met us on arrival to go through everything about the house and local area, Jan saw us out. Thank you for an amazing stay, our little family loved every moment.

The Croft

Absolutely wonderful! A gorgeous house, even more lovely than it looks on the photos, beautiful surroundings and a lovely walk through the woods just at the end of the road, thoughtful little touches like milk in the fridge on arrival, and SO generous - we left our son’s little cricket bat and Iain and Amanda immediately posted it back to us! Brilliant hosts and a lovely place to stay, highly recommend.

The flat is very airy and bright, on the second floor of the Meridian Tower. I enjoyed my 3-night stay and felt at home. Beach View Flat on Coastal Path

SamanthaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Our stay was beautiful! The apartment was stunning, the pictures don’t do this interior justice. It was clean, warm and we had the best night sleep! There were so many lovely little editions for our kids too including colouring books, board games and beach toys. The local area was quiet but with the beach, a playground and restaurant on our door step, our first day meant we had everything we needed whilst we navigated the local area. The welcome book was really thorough as well! The pages on things to do was really helpful and we ended up going to dinosaur park for the day- a great choice! We would definitely recommend this apartment and location!

The whole place is an experience in itself form the front desk, to the staff, and the animals. Everything was looked after and shaped to look luxe, even on a rainy day. The accommodation was exactly how it was depicted, showing true heritage and a creative way of using the space whilst being a novelty everything was very tasteful. I will be visiting again, thanks Lorraine and the team

Garden Cottage

JaneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a fabulous few days as a family at Garden Cottage - Diane & Thomas made us feel very welcome & it really was a home from home stay. The cottage & garden are wonderful with plenty of room for 5 of us adults and our dog & such a lovely big private garden for her to run around in. There's lovely walks around the property & the surrounding area is breathtaking. We did trips out to Brecon Falls, Llansteffan Beach & Dinefwr house & gardens from the cottage so it was a great base. Definitely a fabulous find!

Lois’s Airbnb was a truly wonderful place for my friends and me to reconnect and spend a few relaxing days together. From the moment we arrived, Lois was incredibly helpful, responsive, and genuinely welcoming. She was an absolute pleasure to speak with and made us feel right at home. The cottage itself is beautiful—nestled in serene natural surroundings, with friendly cats and cheerful chickens roaming around, adding a charming and heartwarming touch to the experience. I wholeheartedly recommend staying at Lois’s cottages if you’re visiting Wales. It’s the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the peaceful countryside!

We’ve just returned from the most delightful short break in a beautiful college cottage tucked away in the heart of Wales. The cottage itself was a perfect blend of old-world charm and modern comfort — tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, and full of character. Surrounded by rolling hills and the peaceful sounds of nature, it felt like a true escape from the everyday. This little haven gave us the peace and quiet we craved, along with the warmth and welcome of a truly special place. We left feeling rested, inspired, and already dreaming of our return xx
A private boat is moored inside a rustic boathouse, with its bow facing an expansive lake view. Soft natural light filters through the opening, illuminating the tranquil water and surrounding greenery, while a lone swan glides gracefully in the distance.

Stunning Lakeside House with hot tub and fishing

CaraRating, 5 stars15 months ago
A beautiful home in an even more beautiful location. We were there over a long weekend of rain and wind but still plenty to do - rainy hot tub dips and squelchy dog walks! The lake and the boat are fantastic, the kids loved feeding the swans. The kitchen is so well equipped - very generous number of plates, cutlery, cups, glasses and all wonderful quality. My only constructive feedback would be - considering the price point - the bedding and towels were of less good quality. The air hockey table wasn't working which was a shame because the kids were really excited to play with it. All in all, a really lovely stay.

I had a lovely time at Ty Cwtch,, it had everything i needed for my 4 night stay and was comfortable and well presented,, it was spotlessly clean.. the property is gated so its safe to let my dog out,, Debra also supplied dog bowls, towels, blanket, and treats for my dog which is extremely helpful.. The bed is so comfortable i slept like a baby.. i went for my 60th birthday and Debra kindly left me a card and some birthday treats which was so kind and thoughtful.. ty cwtch is situated perfectly between the beach and the beautiful wilderness lake and is a short walk to pubs and the town.. Debra is responsive and helpful and willing to help with any suggestions if needed.. i will definitely go back to ty cwtch as i love it there and the cosy comforting atmosphere it gives...

Cathedral Town- Historic House - Country Garden

SueRating, 5 stars4 days ago
I went to the accommodation with a friend. I prefer something more modern but my friend likes a cottage. I was wrong. The place was so homely and the garden was such a lovely place to sit, along with beautiful views. Sally and her husband were amazing hosts and very welcoming. We had a lovely time in Brecon and the people were so friendly. Although it’s only a small town it has everything. We went to the four waterfalls trail and came home to freshly baked scones and jam. Such a lovely and thoughtful thing for Sally to do. It’s a great place to relax and get away from a busy life. I fully recommend it if you want to switch off and unwind.
