Originally designed by renowned Portland, OR architect Marvin Witt for his family, this towering 3 story "tree house" has been lovingly updated and restored. It features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths and an open concept living room and kitchen with fireplace on the top floor. The house also features 3 private decks. It's a short walk to the beach and close to town and hiking trails. Per Airbnb policy please note we have exterior cameras for security in the driveway, front walkway and east side siding.

From the sunny deck, relax to the sound of the ocean and sway of the trees. We are happy to share this special cabin in one of the most lovely spots on earth!

The Clam Shell room is a private king suite with a private entrance and deck, full bath with a claw foot tub, king size gel foam bed, full dining table for work, art or dining, casual lounging area, compact refrigerator, a meal prep area and WIFI. There are no cooking appliances except for an electric tea kettle and coffee maker. Our neighborhood is nestled between two state parks and we are a 3 blocks to the beach. We are in rural coastal forested county with gravel roads.

This house is perfectly perched on a hill, granting privacy and ocean view from almost every window. Lots of outdoor spots to relax in the sun. Hot tub, fire pit, lower and upper level decks for outside dinning and bbq. Fun swings. Enjoy the well appointed kitchen, chill in the living room with fireplace and view. Desk with a view and wifi. 65" roku tv in downstairs family room with pull out couch. Fenced and gated. Well above tsunami risk. 4 paved parking spots.

300 feet above the ocean on sacred Neahkahnie Mountain, 30 feet above the ground. Built by hand with love in 1985. Look out thru giant Sitka spruce and Douglas fir, south & west to the ocean. Look up from the sleeping loft through a huge skylight to the night stars and moon. Leave urban culture behind. Retreat into a world where the rest of nature speaks loudly.
