Snowdon & Llyn Padarn Little Retreat House

SophieRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We have just come back from a wonderful stay here. It was perfect for climbing Snowdon, you just step outside the house, walk along the road and you're at the start of the Llanberis route. Jane has done a wonderful job creating such a relaxing and homely place to stay. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bedding was crisp and lovely and clean. The balcony from the bedroom was a much-loved sun trap and a great place to relax. There's everything you can think of in the kitchen and so if you fancy some cooking, you're all sorted. We enjoyed going out and found lots of lovely cafes, pubs and take aways in the area, all in walking distance and great food! And lastly the parking, it was spot on. No problems, we just parked on the road outside the house for free. Safe to say, we have loved our stay. Thanks Jane!

180° Sea Views-3 Minute Drive to Town.

VictoriaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Martin & Helen are fabulous hosts. They responded quickly to any messages sent and have been welcoming and friendly. We stayed at their stunning airbnb for 4 nights and had a fantastic time. The views are absolutely stunning, they include The Great Orme, Little Orme, Sea views and Llandudno town. The outside area was perfect! Not overlooked and very peaceful. Accommodation was spotlessly clean, very comfy bed and the shower was amazing! The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. My friend and I are keen walkers and explored The Great Orme on the first day. This is doable from the accommodation if you have relatively good fitness. Town centre is approximately a 40 minute walk away but did see buses on the main road. The Penrhyn Arms is a 15 minute walk away and served wood-fired pizza in a great beer garden. We couldn't pass up the opportunity to do The Little Orme as it's very close by. Overall a fantastic place which we will surely return to. Thank you, Vicky & Alison

Nice location if you want something peaceful and private, was nice having our morning coffees in the garden with a nice view. We visited with our 4 years old for 3 nights and she also enjoyed it. Hosts are friendly and helpful. Thank you for having us!

Cosy mountain cottage in the heart of Snowdonia

MarianneRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Would definitely return. Peaceful location but a few doors down from a good pub for dinner. We used it as an excellent base for snowdon (less than 10mins) then Begdelert, Caernarfon are less than 30 minutes away. The house was clean, homely and the fire was great - we got wood in nearby Llanberis. Beds are comfortable. Whilst the description says 1.5 bathrooms this is one bathroom and a separate shower in addition and the stairs are a little steep if anyone does need to go upstairs to use the toilet - just a note for others to be aware of if you have any challenges. A superb Airbnb though and highly recommend and would go again.

Amazing sea/mountain view-beach 10 minute walk

MarilynRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The house was spotless, very well equipped with good quality items and had everything we needed. It was so quiet and peaceful, we never heard a sound other than the sea and the occasional seagull. The garden was very private. We went to Porthmadog and did a trip on the steam train to Beddgelert which is such a pretty village. We got an ice cream and sat by the river. Lovely shops too. We went to Portmeirion one day which was lovely as it was a warm sunny day. The most outstanding feature of course was the stunning view. It was an absolute joy to watch the sunsets as the big orange sun gradually disappeared behind the mountains. Something we will remember forever.
A dog rests on a grassy area, with a stunning sunset casting warm hues in the background. The silhouette of a mountain rises in the distance, complementing the peaceful scenery. A car is parked nearby, and bare trees can be seen lining the edge of the field.

Cosy Restored 17th Century Barn with Log Burner

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We found the cottage easily from Delyth's directions... on arrival, it was spotlessly clean, and was more than perfect for our long weekend stay. There are unbelievable views across the valley to Snowdonia from the seating area at the back of the cottage - the whole weekend was just what we needed - the perfect mix of relaxation and exploring the area. A short walk into beautiful Beddgelert, where there are lovely cafes, shops and pubs serving food.
A historic cottage is set against a backdrop of a green hillside and rocky mountain. The white exterior features yellow accents around the windows and door. A stone wall lines the front, with shrubs and flowers enhancing the garden area.

Cottage in Snowdonia

DorianRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Had such a lovely time at Lesley’s cottage; perfectly positioned half way between pen y pass and llanberis, walking distance from the park and ride. Nicely laid out and perfect for families. Despite being on the road a quiet private garden space with a grand view of the north side of Snowden. Stayed for the UTS weekend and it worked a treat, all round logistically and functionally. Will definitely be back! Thanks so much!
