Centrally located and very close to lakes, forests and open fields, the guest house is a good base for hiking and cycling in the area. The historic city center with Sorø Academy, the Monastery Church, art museum, restaurants and specialty shops is two km away. The Ice Age Route (Route 44) and Munkevejen (Route 88) pass right by. The pilgrim route and two national cycling routes (N6 and N7) run five km south of Sorø.

Located in scenic surroundings and less than 1 km from Halsted Kloster Golf Club. ⛳️ On the farm there are 3 lakes, where you can encounter frogs, salamanders, etc. The farm is 15 hectares with rich wildlife and a great chance to spot sea eagles, our marsh harrier family, buzzards, roe deer, etc. Here on the farm, we live - Susanne and Lars with dog, 2 cats, cows and a flock of happy chickens 🐓🐄

Here you can have a farm holiday or just enjoy the countryside and nature. Pet a rabbit or keep a chicken. Make a fire. Enjoy the morning sun in the pallet sofas. Walk on the Ringsted experience trail. Take a bike ride to the pancake house and swimming lake. Let the dog loose in the fenced in dog air area. Ride the mountain bike trail at Haraldsted. Relax in this cozy cottage, just 300 meters from a fantastic beach. The house has a fenced garden with terraces to the south, east and west. There is also forest nearby as well as Solrød Center with shops and cafes as well as a station with a fast train to Copenhagen. There is a bike route all the way into Copenhagen. Here you can enjoy the sounds of the forest and experience life in the forest around the clock. There are no street lights, Wi-Fi and poor mobile coverage. The silence is broken only by the many birds of the forest, the wind rustling in the treetops and the waves down on the beach.
