This place is beautiful. It’s just outside the hustle and bustle of Kandy city. In the morning you can expect waking up to the most beautiful views of rice paddies and the sounds of birds. And in the evening, it is very peaceful. You’ll see a light show of fireflies and hear the crickets chirping. My husband and I just love spending time here. The location is also super convenient. It’s just a short walk from groceries, the gym, and all the local restaurants. We had an amazing time in Embilmeegame town. You can even walk to the tea factory for a tour if you’re interested. Uchitha was so helpful and accommodating. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to stay, but still close to Kandy, I highly recommend this place!

The moment I saw the pictures on Airbnb, I knew I wanted to stay there and what can I say? The room was just as beautiful as in the photos. I absolutely loved the design; it’s truly a gem. Achala was very easy to communicate with and someone I could really trust. He genuinely cared about making sure I had a good stay, which I truly appreciated. I had an online job interview during my stay and he immediately made sure I had a stable Wi-Fi connection. He was always respectful and friendly. All in all, I can highly recommend this place without hesitation. Thank you Achala for everything!

Stayed with the family for my wife's birthday. Unfortunately we had some power issues at the start of our stay due to some extreme weather and a temperamental generator. However, these were resolved by the following day when a man came round to fix the generator. The place is beautiful and the caretaker, Shiva, was very helpful throughout our stay. The views are amazing and I could have easily spent a whole afternoon sitting on the balcony with a cup of tea and a book just taking in the surroundings. One constructive piece of feedback I would offer the host is that a sign at the bottom of the driveway would be very helpful to confirm that you have arrived in the right place. We unfortunately drove past the property when we first arrived and ended up having to double back after asking a local for directions. Overall, this was a lovely stay and a property well worth returning to.
