House vacation rentals in Mount Dandenong

Wonderful home and location. The house had everything you need and my two children and l really enjoyed playing table tennis, pool and fuse ball. The view from the balcony was spectacular with the added bonus of being able to wake up to the view from two of the bedrooms. We enjoyed the bbq facilities, nature walks and morning coffees on the balcony while swinging on the egg chair. A perfect place to connect and relax.

I had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this property ! From the moment I arrived, everything was seamless. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the thoughtful touches that made it feel cozy and welcoming. The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the entire space felt peaceful and private. The host was incredibly responsive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. Clear instructions were provided for check-in/check-out, and they even left a lovely welcome note and a few local treats, which was such a kind gesture. The location was perfect — quiet and safe I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay. A very comfortable and well presented home great facilities and a nice new and comfortable clean and plenty of natural light.

The house is lovely and very big. Suited us as we all wanted seperate rooms and our own bathrooms so the 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms was great. We did not use the pool or spa so I can’t comment on that. Lively Properties’s were easy to deal with and gave excellent instructions for the property. Would be happy to to use Lively again if we head back for another stay.

My husband, myself and our 4 adult children stayed at Lavender Farm. When first arriving we were greeted by their friendly dogs. Jacky had made a delicious cake and fresh bread plus farm fresh eggs and bacon ready for breakfast the next morning. It made us feel right at home. The farm is beautiful as is the accommodation. Tony (the host) was very friendly and helpful. The town itself has everything you need. Healesville is a lovely place to stay. I would highly recommend Lavender Farm.

We couldn’t be happier with our time at this home. It was beautifully clean, well appointed and had everything you need. The home was so convenient to the shops, a short stroll away. We stayed in April and the surrounds were very quiet and peaceful.

If you’re looking for a house to relax and unwind, this could be the one for you! The house was warm and homily, and delivered some amazing sunrises / sunset views, all whilst relaxing in the spacious upstairs lounge. The house was clean throughout, and large enough to accommodate our group of friends. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. Peggy is a great host, super responsive and even provided some complimentary wine to welcome us. Cheers to that!

We really enjoyed our stay at The Chambers South Yarra. Location was great with restaurants and supermarket close by. It was also just a short drive to the city. The home is perfect for families. Min and Ted are amazing hosts! They are very kind and responsive and they made sure we had a pleasant stay. Highly recommend The Chambers and we look forward to staying here again when in Melbourne!

Samantha’s house was beautiful and in the mountains. Such a peaceful and quiet get away and everything was so scenic. The house itself was a cabin in the woods vibe but modernly decorated and renovated and SO homely. Samantha gave us some great food recommendation and there’s so much to do in the surrounding areas, nature walks etc. would definitely come back and highly recommend to anyone who is thinking about it

Had a comfortable stay. Had everything we needed and was so close to some really great food/wine spots and cafes. Also very easy to get the tram into the city.

My friends and I loved spending a weekend at Kris & Carlo's peaceful retreat! We snuggled up on the couch, looking out over the treetops and listening to our crackling fire. It was the perfect spot to enjoy the autumn colours! Comfortable beds and all the comforts of home.

We had a wonderful girls weekend at Highton House. It’s a lovely home with amazing views and several fireplaces. It was icy cold when we visited but there were also plenty of heaters and electric blankets which kept us cosy. Brad and CJ were easy to get in touch with and were happy for me to bring my dog - who also loved his stay! It’s nice and close to town but feels like you’re far from civilisation. A very positive experience - would recommend!

Loved spending the weekend here. Beautiful home, very cozy, with everything you need, and such a quick walk to everything (although its almost better to stay inside by the fire). The hosts are super responsive, very helpful and flexible! Would definitely stay again if I’m in town.

My experience with the hosts was excellent and the property was even more beautiful than the photos. The house was huge and everything you could possibly need and want was provided. We arrived to a roaring fire, a fridge stocked with generous breakfast provisions and a freshly baked cake which was a lovely touch. The beds and furnishings were very comfortable and a phone charger provided which was great as I’d forgotten mine! I would highly recommend the property and will definitely be back. This house is everything we hoped it would be, a relaxed and comfortable escape from the city without having to go far. The hosts are incredibly contactable and Andrew was really friendly when he showed us through the house. The views from the house through the tree tops is beautiful, while the well stocked wood pile kept us warm while we stayed. The bedrooms were a great size and the bathrooms nice and clean. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking over a few days stay. We loved it and would definitely return!

Where to begin? The photos were exactly as described. Extremely beautiful and clean. The kitchen was all fully stocked and functional even to the smallest things like rubber bands, sandwich zip locks, foil, etc. she even had a rice cooker for our convenience. The flow of the home was well thought through, planning of space layout made sense, heating throughout the home was well distributed. Clare is such a great host, she’s so thoughtful and gave us extra time for check in and out. I am very grateful for her accepting our request to stay at their lovely and homely home. It was warm, inviting and wanted to stay at home all day but we were on a holiday so was out most of the time. Wished we had more time to stay in! Thank you Clare x

Trudy’s place is incredible for a getaway! The place was as described and superseded our expectations. It was very homey, yet sleek and clean. Trudy was also very accomodating and easy to communicate with! Would absolutely come again, and the alpacas were an amazing touch to the experience.

We really enjoyed our stay at Clare Cottage. The place is so clean, cozy and homey. Loving the tranquility of it yet it is close to lots of tourist attractions. Samantha has been very responsive and sweet. Will definitely coming back in the future.

Nic's place was absolutely perfect for us! With a couple of pregnant ladies and couple of infants in the mix, there was plenty of space for everything to either come together or do their own thing in separate spaces. The kitchen was a pleasure to cook in and a we loved sharing meals around the large dining spaces, inside and out. Can't recommend highly enough! We look forward to returning

We had such a lovely stay at Sonja’s property — it’s absolutely beautiful, clean, and clearly well cared for, with so much thought put into details. My partner and I have been searching for a spot to return to for our weekends or getaways, and we’ve finally found it. We tend to spend most of our time in the property itself, so finding a cosy and comfortable space is really important to us. The only small suggestion we’d make for future guests who do the same is to consider adding Velcro to the couch cushions, just to stop them from sliding forward. Aside from that, we truly loved our stay and are already looking forward to coming back!
