The Largest square in Iowa is located 1 mile from the house. Lots of beautiful shops. Air conditioners are portable uniits it is NOT central air. Semi- private lake community with 5 in total log cabins and a fun lake for fishing, kayaking, and row boating. We have a beach, primitive walkibg paths, fire pits, and bbq's. We are 1 mile from beautiful Lake Rathbun. No microwaves No TV and no Wi-Fi!

The place was awesome! The welcoming dog and cats were so fun. Fresh eggs in the morning. The floor is a little rough like they described so definitely have some socks or slippers. Wifi would not connect to phones/tablets, but we did get the tv to work after a few tries. Talked with owners on the way out and they were working on improving that. We absolutely stay there again!

I booked Kelly's listing for my son and his family, who were coming to Ottumwa from the East Coast to visit for the holidays. The location was excellent and the house was set up really well for them. There are lots of large windows, giving much light in the open concept-formatted kitchen/living room. The two large islands gave plenty of seating and counter space. Kelly was very fast to respond to any questions we had. She and Jason went above and beyond to make sure their stay was a success. Her instructions were very thorough. We would absolutely book her place for other family members if and when they would come to Ottumwa to visit.
