Castelluccio house This is a comfortable, roomy house in a beautiful green setting. It has large windows and a big front patio, full of flowers, overlooking the mountains and the valley below. It’s in a totally quiet rural setting, only 10 minutes drive into town. It’s one of the most peaceful settings we’ve stayed; it was wonderful to sleep so deeply. One issue to be aware of is the heating system (it was still chilly when we were there in early May). It’s good if you are familiar with making fires in a fireplace or wood stove, as this actually heats water pipes that control the radiators in the rest of the house. This is a property that shows the care and love of the owners, and the host is very responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Monica, due to family problems, was not present in the accommodation, but behind her were people of all respect, her cousin and her partner. Really clear people and they make themselves available on everything, the day I had to leave the accommodation the partner offered me another day. Nothing exceptional to say, really.

Marta’s place is beautiful and we felt right at home straight away. Marta was very helpful, the place had all the listed amenities and was very clean. We only stopped through Morano Calabro for the night to break up the trip from Tropea to Amalfi we are travelling with our 15 month old. A great stop over for families.
