this was our second stay at hurst cottage and was just as good as the first!. lovely cottage with beautiful gardens, hot tub was lovely and everywhere was spotlessly clean. linnett was very responsive to any queries we had. would highly recommend.

We had an excellent stay at Scott’s place. The house had all amenities required and more! Therefore, we didn’t need to contact Scott, however he did check in with us to see if all was well. Would definitely stay here again

We’ve just come back from a short stay at Jacks cottage, this was our first booking through Airb&b so we didn’t really know what to expect, we needn’t of worried as we thought Jacks cottage looked even better in the flesh than in the pictures so did it disappoint. The place was spotless when we arrived which is great as it put us all at ease, we felt at home straight away. Jacks cottage is situated in a small and very quiet village, honestly there is no noise. We live in a busy town with road noise so going to sleep at night with no sound but the birds singing was lovely. The hot tub was a great way to relax after a day out walking and again was spotless. The cottage is in a perfect location to explore the Peak District with some amazing walks right on the doorstep, we particularly enjoyed Bakewell, The Chatsworth estate and finding the very local Robin Hoods cave ( what 3 words assets.joined.offer if you struggle to find it). Myself and my partner came to stay for 2 nights. As soon as we walked in we felt extremely welcomed and at home. Lots of detail was put into the cottage along with homemade cake and fresh apple juice. The surroundings were amazing and hosts had provided maps and allowed us access on the farm. Would 100% recommend and we will definitely be booking to come again. We met both hosts who were very lovely and you can tell they have put a lot of thought into the cottage and hard work. There is generally nothing to complain about, the whole cottage was perfect!

Caroline's place was lovely, a peaceful break in the countryside! A reasonable distance from some of the attractions of the Peak District, including the Tissington Trail and Thor's Cave. The village was quaint and we had a lovely meal in the local pub, The Sycamore (recommended by Caroline). The only downside was the typical British summer weather raining down on us - wish us better luck next time!

Wood Cottage is absolutely beautiful. The house is well equipped and perfectly maintained. The setting is extraordinary with beautiful gardens with plenty of privacy and peace. Thanks to Samantha and Andy’s instructions it’s also easy to find, whereas the post code is a little more difficult. Their communication was proactive and timely, but not at all intrusive. The sauna, plunge pool and hot tub are a real treat, although the hot tub is a little temperamental in that we struggled to get some of the jets to work. However, given that is the only room for improvement we could identify on the accommodation, it’s clear that a stay at Wood Cottage comes highly recommended and we hope to return!

First time I’ve used Airbnb and am I glad to stay we were fortunate enough to stay at Katie’s cottage! It was exactly as described, 100% accurate in terms of the pictures and the host (Katie) herself was a genuine, amazing soul! Not many things are perfect, however this was as close to perfect if it’s what you’re looking for! Loved it!

We had an amazing stay at Joiners Cottage! The check-in instructions and info pack we received just before arrival were fantastic—clear, detailed, and really helpful. The cottage itself was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the thoughtful little extras like tea, milk, cookies, and bathroom toiletries—such a lovely and unexpected touch! Parking was easy, which made things even more convenient. Ashford in the Water is absolutely picturesque, and we loved exploring it. The local pubs were excellent for food, especially The Bulls Head—highly recommend! Our only regret? Not booking for longer! We’d absolutely recommend a stay here and hope to return ourselves.

The most perfect place to stay for the Peak District. The location is ideal if you are wanting to explore & have amazing walks. The house was so helpful fully equipped with more than the basics - easy to live in and helpful for cooking. The host was so helpful and we had super easy communication. The area was so quiet and peaceful, gorgeous garden & very comfortable beds. Also not far to Castleton which is a gorgeous village

Walking distance to town and other amenities in Bakewell but yet tucked away, cosy and quite, perfect place to rest after a long day away from the hustle and bustle of town. Very dog friendly. I wish we could've stayed for longer :) Thanks Caz for being a great host.

Beautiful cottage set in wonderful grounds with a playhouse for the little ones. The pool was great too. Such a great place to stay, and under 10 minutes from Ashbourne. Around 30 mins to kid friendly hiking/walking in the Dales. Highly recommend.

Great spot in a lovely village. This was a great base for our weekend in the area as a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The house was much bigger than I thought it would be based on the photos! There would be plenty of room if there were 6 people staying. Great kitchen with all the pans, crockery etc needed. Nice view out the back, there is a shared yard with a picnic bench you can use. There is a great park just a short walk from the house which our children enjoyed. Beds very comfortable. Would stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay celebrating my 60th birthday at West Croft and would go back again. The cottage was very comfortable, relaxing and well equipped. There are loads of walks to do from the cottage and there are pubs and cafes in walking distance. There is also a swimming area on the river. Thank you Simon and Jen

The photos do not do this beautiful cottage justice. It had everything we needed for our 2 night stay, and the furnishings and utensils were all high quality and well-chosen. The garden is a peaceful little suntrap which our little dog enjoyed sniffing around. We could relax knowing that it was fully enclosed and there was no chance of escape. The village is beautiful and the locals we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Easy access to Bakewell and Buxton. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our long weekend in Blacksmith's Barn. It's in an amazing location in the centre of Hope, and blessed with a private parking space. We found it to be very clean, well-equipped and ideal for our needs. We were visiting primarily to walk and it's perfect for that - MamTor, Castleton, Win Hill etc are all within striking distance. We didn't go out in the car for the whole time we were there! We will definitely try to stay here for our next visit to the Peak District.

lovely cottage. excellent living space downstairs and large bathroom. bedrooms on the small side but it is a cottage! Woodburn er useful. easy walk into Bakewell and lots of walking from the property so didn't need to use our car during our stay

Just returned from a wonderful 4 night break at Harewood Cottage. The cottage was cosy, clean, beautifully appointed and an easy walk to the trails from the doorstep. It was very peaceful and private and to sit in the garden in the sun was a lovely, unexpected treat. So quiet, just birds chirping in a beautiful setting. Julia was a perfect host, thank you 🤩
