Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Montrose

This cabin is on a beautiful peace of property. As the listing states, it is on a working farm, therefore lots of farm animals. My grandbaby loved meeting the animals, and Barb was kind enough to introduce us to the goats which he loved. The cabin kitchen is fully stocked so we could make our meals before heading out for the day. Highly recommend for families! We enjoyed beautiful views and walking around the property in the evenings.

This home was so lovely and spacious. My three grandkids and I really enjoyed staying there . There were such nice touches; a bottle of homemade wine from the host, water by the bedside, coffee and creamer. We enjoyed our stay so much we decided to make it an annual event.

Michelle's place was beautiful and comfortable...and so well-suited for our group. Everyone had plenty of places to gather as well as privacy when needed. Backyard was beautiful as well!

The house was clean, so cute, and had everything we needed. It was exactly what we were looking for, and communication was wonderful. We would love to come back!

This was a fabulous stay. The attention to detail with extras such as towels, Kleenex, good cooking supplies were all great. We are on a tour of all the Colorado National Parks and this stay was our best of the entire trip. If ever in the area again would 100% stay here again.

Peaceful and comfortable, it was a perfect stay for a relaxing weekend exploring the West Elks area.

Felt right at home. Had everything from the Mountain View’s, bright night sky, peace and quiet, what else could you ask for? I really needed this escape from the city and Texas in general. Rejuvenated my mental state for sure. Really want to move to Colorado and after this trip, I will consider more options to make it happen.

My son and his family had a wonderful stay at The Cedaredge Lodge. The apartment was so comfortable and ideal for their family. They loved the outside kitchen, game room, hot tub and the beautiful location. What a very special place to stay for Christmas.

My girlfriend and i really enjoyed our stay here, it was extremely peaceful and relaxing. The outdoor kitchen area was a great place to spend some time together and the hot tub was much needed!

Cedaredge Lodge is very conveniently located. The rooms are cozy and quiet. The bed was comfy too. This is my 3rd stay, and I look forward to returning when visiting family in the area.

Great apartment! Plenty of space, ample supplies, and comfortable king sized bed. Debra was a good communicator and responsive to our questions.

The spot was just perfect for us. Beautiful location, quiet and comfortable.

The only negative i have is the hot tub guy came while we were there and drained and refilled the tub which was a little akward and we weren't prepared for anyone coming to the site. Other than that it was a great location, great view, everything was very clean. Would highly recommend for a stay. Montrose was a very cool town with lots of shops and eateries. The store at the base of the black canyon was a must see also. Loved the area and plan to go back.

Description was spot on and this is definitely a place to get away and relax. Amazing opportunities for stargazing and relaxing by the fire. Also, the location makes for a convenient home base to explore Ouray, Telluride, etc. We would stay again if we were to come back to the area in the future!

Very peaceful stay in a beautiful setting. Very well equipped house. The deck and porch are great for watching wildlife, enjoying a late afternoon summer shower or just enjoying the view. Forrest is very thick and full of wildlife. Walking down the old logging road off the back of the property was perfect. The roads are well maintained and very walkable for park like strolls thru the neighborhood. House is located far enough off the beaten path to be peaceful but still close enough to Montrose, Gunnison, Lake City, Blue Mesa Reservoir, Ridgeway Reservoir and places in between for endless activities. The house sits at an elevation which treats guests to nice cool summer mornings and mild afternoon temperatures.

Absolutely wonderful find!!! Elk! Deer! Super quiet and peaceful surroundings. The house had everything needed to cook wonderful meals. The couch was fantastic for lounging on while enjoying the wood burning stove. If you’re looking for a place that is close to town, this will not be your place. It takes close to an hour to get to Montrose. Be sure to get all of your groceries and supplies before heading to the cabin. If you’re looking for solitude, you found the holy grail! I’d, absolutely, stay here again!!!!

We had plans to hike the Grand Mesa, walk the lakes, unfortunately I caught the worst cough know to mankind. But having a place to cuddle in front fireplace was magical. We’ll try it again soon. Maybe in the summer time next time.

We loved living a little country life for the weekend! It was so nice to have our dogs, and the kids enjoyed exploring the farm roads. We even got to watch a crop dusting plane one morning! Lots of extras, the kids enjoyed: spiral staircase to a kids’ space with a tv, electric fire, bunk bed, bean bag chair, and some crayons and coloring books. TVs in every room and the two bathrooms were comfortable. This is the best location of all four houses, for views and privacy, so we’ll be back and stay at this one again. Hot tub was clean with good jets and privacy. There was a grill we didn’t use, but the couch and fire pit were perfect for enjoying the stars! The first time you drive out, it will seem far, but it got shorter every time we drove to town. It’s worth it for the views (little glimpses of the San Juans and West Elks, and also the Grand Mesa. Comfortable beds and AC! 5 stars!

The cabin was a described, bed was comfy and the cabin was quiet. There were quite a few bugs flying outside, so bug spray is recommended if you want to sit on the deck in the evening. The shower is small, but the park has extremely clean guest showers that were great and very close. I would stay here again.
