Bicycles can be borrowed and the beach is 2.5 km away. Great choice for a vacation or business trip. Note! Our lovely annex was build in 1968, few years later than the main house where we live. It has been fully rennovated to accomodate a full kitchen, bathroom and a living area with a double bed and a vintage couch. We wanted to bring back some of the farmhouse charm with wood floors, raw tiles and a good twist of rural mystic. The kitchen was hand made from scratch to perfectly take you to a past now forgotten. The modern utilityes are there for your convinience, without breaking the spell.

We chose this location as it really suited it's proximity to relatives who live locally. The accommodation itself is stunning, modern, well laid out and is perfect for a friends/family occasion with itsopen plan lounge/kitchen which includes a large kitchen island with stools, a large kitchen table and chairs and plenty of sofa room. Additionally there is enough space to "escape" for a while for quiet time. I can't say enough about this beautiful place.

100+ year sauna! Amazing to experience the history and culture of Finland here by the sea. It is meant to be a little rustic for how it used to be. The art museum of Sirkka Turkki next door is also an incredible experience to meet the artist and to see her creations. Ari and Arja are amazing people. On a very busy day, they still took time to find a special birch sauna vihta for me. They also made all of the toys available: bicycle, row boat, SUP paddle board. This is a lucky find if it is available grab it!

A lovely place in the countryside with a beautiful landscape, charming old buildings, a great sauna and most of all: amazing and friendly hosts! We received valuable help from the hosts to make our stay memorable and wonderful! A perfect place for a small group of friends to spend a peaceful weekend. Everything went well with the host. Good instructions for arrival and parking. Free parking nearby is really good. Arriving late at night was easy, as access with codes was easy. The location of the apartment is great, close to the riverbank and easily accessible when arriving in the city. Grocery stores and all the most important services and sights of Porvoo are within walking distance. The apartment was really clean and had everything you needed. In addition, there was a small snack and coffee, which was also a plus. I recommend and will stay again if needed. Thank you Peter!

Jaako and his wife were superb hosts. I stayed in a historic wooden house with a fascinating history. It had been tastefully renovated while retaining its original features. The kitchen was absolutly fantastic too. Charging the rental Electric Vehicule was free of charge. The house is connected to the local government tap water system, which was superb!!! When I go back to visit Helsinki I will definitely try to rent this amazing place again. Although it's close to Helsinki, You feel like you're living in the countryside. Thanks!
