Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Molega Lake

Jim is an awesome host, was very communicative and gave clear instructions. The cottage was amazing, had everything we were looking for in a weekend getaway. I highly recommend, especially if your looking to just relax and unwind in nature.

Our stay at Mark and Kassy’s home was comfortable and relaxing.The home was spotless and well organized.The kitchen appliances and bathroom are in excellent condition and well appointed.There is back porch with a grill,gas fire pit and outdoor jacuzzi which we did not use. The home is located a short distance to the center of this charming peaceful town. We highly recommend this property and would stay again the next time we’re in Lunenburg.

This was my first girlfriend trip. We arrived at the house and the seven of us were Wowed! Everything you could need was there. Perfect kitchen for meals and the open concept was great for everyone being together. The beds were very comfortable. The whole house is spotless. The hot tub on the upper deck and the view from there is beautiful. Summerville beach was only a couple minutes away. Next trip will include our husbands. The house next door would be great if anyone would want a family reunion getaway.

We felt lucky to find a place so close to the beautiful Kejimkujik National Park!! The yard is huge and beautiful with a lovely walk down to the lake. Comfortable beds, nice hot water, easy to control the temperature in the house. Only negatives; upstairs bathroom only has a tub, kayaks need some work.

If you like peacefulness, the sound of a river, beautiful surroundings, and a crackling fire in the evening, this place is for you. I came here with my son to fish the river and other nearby waters, and our only regret was that we didn't book it for a longer period. There's a General Store nearby if you need anything (including a NSLC outlet), or if you forgot to pack something (like I did) which saved me from driving any distance. Our host (Sherry) reached out to us to see if we found everything we needed, and was very helpful and informative. Would I recommend this listing, absolutely, without question.

We enjoyed this stay so much! It was clean, tidy, and well organized. The appliances were modern and easy to use, and the view was wonderful. The space was cosy and Gavin was wonderfully communicative. It was exactly what we needed to have a good rest after a long drive. We would highly recommend this stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Nicole's Pink cottage. The place is beautiful and cozy. The neighbourhood is quite and the water front is a short walk. The place had everything we needed and some nice games that we played! Highly recommend for a quite gateaway close to Mahone bay and Lunenbourg!!

Tanya has done an amazing job at decorating this place and having everything that is needed for your stay right at your fingertips! Tanya even offered to bring us a fishing rod if we wanted it. I would recommend this place to anyone. There were three couples and we were very, very comfortable there. Thank you Tanya for all of your care and all the little things that you did that make a huge difference. We will be back.

This place was so charming and perfect for what we needed. We we just stopping for the night. We could see ourselves staying here again maybe for longer next time. Peggy’s cove, Lunenburg and the Swiss air site were all within an hour. You won’t find a more friendly accompanying host. We got in fairly late and Steve was up. He had messaged us a few hours before to let us know the space was ready whenever we got there. He was helpful with suggestions and even left a little basket with some treats for us and our dog.

This little spot so cute! Tracy & Dave have made the most of every square inch of this suite. So many lovely touches, a thorough guide book on the counter & everything you could think of to be comfortable. We requested help with luggage up the stairs & they were so accommodating. The top floor suite has a view of the water & the back yard but it is at the very top! Mahone Bay has great restaurants and coffee places, everything is nearby to Tracy’s place. The people , though, make it extra special. We were welcomed everywhere. Thank you, Tracy & Dave!

My boyfriend and I had a great stay here. Cozy and private unit that’s just steps away from beautiful walking trails. Would recommend to anyone visiting the South Shore!

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming Airbnb! The space was quaint, spotless, and incredibly peaceful - the perfect retreat for a relaxing getaway. The private hot tub overlooking the ocean was a definite highlight, and everything was thoughtfully prepared. It truly felt like our own little slice of paradise. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a serene escape!

We had a wonderful weekend away. The house is beautiful and cozy, and the view is amazing. The weather was beautiful so we really got to enjoy sitting outside on the balcony and the dock to enjoy the fresh air during the day, and in the hot tub or around the fire table at night. Rachel was a wonderful host. She was quick to reply to any messages sent, and flexible with check-ins and outs.

Youssef and Sarah are wonderful and friendly hosts, and their property on the North Mountain is beautiful. The unit I stayed in was spacious with lots of windows overlooking their orchard and had everything I needed for my one week stay. The property location made it easy to experience the best of what the Annapolis Valley has to offer. A 15 minute drive gets you to the Bay of Fundy or to the picturesque towns of Annapolis Royal and Bridgetown connected by the Annapolis River. Early May is a great time to visit this area just to enjoy the flowering trees, especially the magnolias.

Such a beautiful place to stay. Our host was friendly and very helpful. Loved being able to have coffee sitting on the couch on the deck on the side of the lake fist thing in the morning. The loons would call out in the evening, very magical. Quiet area, very peaceful. Close to town and just far enough away. Thanks Matt for a wonderful experience

We had a truly wonderful stay! Everything was exactly as described — peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully prepared. We especially appreciated the attention to detail — it’s clear that the hosts care deeply about their guests’ experience. The perfect place to stay for peace and quiet. You are just far off the beaten path for some rest and relaxation but still close enough where the South shore attractions are just a drive away. The hosts will answer any question you have with a rapid response. Our two labs loved the property and Cailean Rae and Kate made a personalized gift basket for us and the pups. Can't recommend them enough.

Another successful stay at Keith's place. we were visiting family for Thanksgiving and Keith was very accommodating and provided heaters for the chilly weekend weather. Always great to stay at this spot!

Our stay at Mallard at Church Lake was fantastic! The A-frame design is stunning with beautiful decor throughout. The kitchen setup was perfect, and we loved using the outdoor grill for lakeside meals. As birding enthusiasts, we added many new species to our Life List and learned fascinating details about mallard duck behavior and life cycles. The location is a nature lover's dream. What really set this property apart were the excellent accessibility features (wheelchair ramp, no-threshold shower, seamless floor transitions, etc., which accommodated our disabilities. The hosts were communicative before and during our stay, making everything seamless. We enjoyed canoeing and paddleboarding during the day and incredible stargazing at night under clear skies. This property offers the perfect blend of comfort, accessibility, and natural beauty. We'd absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to other travellers, especially those needing accessible accommodations!

We enjoyed our stay at the lake! Denis was a great host and took great care of us as guests. The kids had a great time jumping off the dock, enjoying the playground, and countless games of washer-toss. The AC was lovely on hot nights and the beds were cozy and comfy. The bunkie was a fun added touch. We would love to stay there again!

James’ cottage was even more beautiful than the pics. Tons of space for our group of 6 & the entire place was spotless. We recommend this cottage to everyone, we had an amazing stay.
