Located two miles from the beach, this suite will make a great home base during your visit. We also have other suites available with different accommodations if needed!

Petite Retreat; Artist Studio

Our detached Spanish-style artist’s studio is within a 3 to 15 minute walk of all the best restaurants and shops in the lower Village of Montecito. It is an easy four block walk from the patio to beautiful Butterfly Beach. It is cozy, private and has a fabulous, hot, outside shower ! (Note; this shower is the only shower for the studio). Gaze at the stars while rinsing off the sand ! The studio space is small, and cozy, warm radiant concrete floors can be turned on in the chillier months.

I welcome you, your family, friends and pets to enjoy my family home, which is tastefully curated with art, books and antiques collected for generations. I lovingly tend the 1/2 acre of gardens which you are welcome to explore. One of my greatest joys in life is to offer my piece of paradise to the world. Welcome to The Lamb Stone Cottage... Our quaint cottage is the perfect spot for a quick jaunt to nearby Hendry’s Beach (less than 2 miles away). Watch the sunset from our favorite view, the Douglas Family Preserve (even closer!). The views from Elings Park just around the corner, boast ocean and mountain view’s. Great for an early morning hike or sunset stroll. The nearby “Mesa” area has a gourmet market called Lazy Acres. We are happy to recommend our favorite restaurants, too!
