Bwthyn Llwynog-Mountain escape

What a brilliant fortnight we had - two weeks of warm sunshine. After a day out we would say 'let's go home' and that's what the cottage meant to us. Private, quiet, fantastic landscape, charming cottage with everything we needed. Cuckoos, ravens, buzzards, warblers, wagtails, and sheep with their lambs. Wonderful!

Harbour-side cottage with sea and mountain views

StephenRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Matthew was a great host. Proactively reaching out to check how we found the space a offer recommendations. The space was wonderful. Granted we were spoilt with very good weather for the duration of our stay. But the ability to have morning coffee on the front overlooking the harbour, and have lunch in the sun at the back, and relax in the living room in the evening was perfect for us. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in the area and hope to be back soon.
A view from the window presents a scenic outlook over Porthmadog harbour. The foreground features a stone wall adorned with greenery, while a small table and chairs sit on the patio. Vehicles can be seen parked along the waterfront, complemented by distant hills under a bright sky.

I had a fantastic stay in Wales. The place was spotless—immaculately clean and clearly well cared for. It's in a great location, making it easy to explore the surrounding area, and the price was very reasonable for what you get. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, replying to messages quickly and making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Overall, a wonderful place to stay—highly recommended!

This place was absolutely to die for. Beautiful views for miles, the lamb playing right outside the door, the barn was so lovely. Lots of places within driving distance, gorgeous walks literally everywhere. 10/10 all round, will definitely be back. An incredibly special place.
A wooden dining table is centered in the room, adorned with fresh lemons and yellow flowers in a vase. A clock is mounted on the wall, while shelves display kitchen items. A cozy seating area is visible in the background, illuminated by natural light.

Bargoed. Cozy cottage

NicolaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Great cosy cottage. We stayed as a family of 6 (4 adults and two young children) - it’s was snug but perfect for us all to spend a long weekend together. It was well equipped, clean and a good location for exploring the area. We didn’t make use of the garden, but a lovely space to sit outside too if needed. The only down side for us was that the property was on the roadside and the car was parked at the end of the road - we often had a lot of bags to carry to and from the car, which wasn’t easy with two young children. Overall though, a lovely stay and a great little house - we’d definitely recommend. Thank you Debbie and family for hosting us!
