The apartment is located one block south of Piedmont Park’s leafy walking paths in Atlanta’s vibrant Midtown neighborhood. Some of the city’s trendiest restaurants, cafes, nightlife spots, and boutiques are just a stroll away. Atlanta's rail transportation called MARTA has its Midtown station on 10th Street just four blocks west with connecting buses at the station. Lyft and Uber are usually within a two minute wait any time of day or night so there is no need for a rental car. The streets are lighted at night and relatively safe for walking; however, just like in any major city, your attention should be focused on your surroundings and not on your smartphone. At just over 700 sq. ft., this one bedroom, one bath with full kitchen and laundry has plenty of room for two. The outside terrace is 300 sq. ft. and overlooks garden designed with a focus on Southern horticulture with Camellia, Hydrangea, Crape Myrtle, Rhododendron, Azalea, Hosta, Gardenia and numerous mature Japanese Maples. The location is in Central Midtown and a short walk to many bars, restaurants, coffee houses, two grocery supermarkets, numerous specialty shops and retail areas and of course Piedmont Park is 250 feet from your doorstep. In addition to Piedmont Parks jogging & biking, the Atlanta Beltline offers miles more with an entrance at the park and of course there is no charge for either Piedmont Park (except pool) or the Atlanta Beltline. Decor is an eclectic blend of family antiquities and modern comfort with a flair for the unique. We understand that you have many options for accommodation in Atlanta and we feel that it's about you, our guest. We strive to distinguish ourselves from the rest and focus to make your stay different. Rita was a wonderful host. We quickly felt at home at her charming bungalow in midtown Atlanta. The beds were comfortable, the master bath was amazing, the kitchen was large and had everything we needed, and the washer and dryer were excellent. The whirlpool/hot tub was an extra luxury. We also had parking for two cars behind a gate. We would stay here again!

My husband and I have traveled a good bit both within the U.S. and internationally, and this has to be one of our favorite stays- if not our favorite! The gardens, cabana area with crawling vines over the hot tub, and the ‘she shed’ garden green house with comfortable seating were so lovely and cozy. I appreciate all of the attention to detail, both in aesthetics with the string lights in the evening throughout the gardens and the fresh cut flowers on our arrival, and in the extra bonuses like a bottle of wine, thorough guide book, and complimentary coffee + snacks. Plus, the bed was so soft (and the swinging day bed by the pool, we both fell asleep there accidentally as well lol). Such a special stay with fantastic history and attentive hosts. Would absolutely recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and spacious home in Virginia Highlands! The space was perfect for our nearly week-long visit—super comfortable with plenty of room to relax. The large kitchen made it easy to cook meals, and the dedicated office room was a great bonus for working remotely. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to Piedmont Park, Trader Joe’s, and tons of great restaurants and bars in the Virginia Highland neighborhood. It was the perfect blend of quiet and convenient. The host was very responsive and attentive. When we mentioned that the bathroom sinks weren’t draining well and the cleaning could’ve been better, she immediately came by to address it herself, which we really appreciated. She also allowed us a late checkout, which was incredibly accommodating. Overall, a great experience—we would absolutely stay here again!
