Nyree and Jeff were the perfect hosts and their home in Proissans is just idyllic. We had 6 wonderful days there and wished we’d booked longer. The setting is so beautiful, the gite is lovely, cosy and well appointed, we loved the animals and the pool, and Nyree and Jeff were so kind and welcoming. There is lots to do in the surrounding areas and Nyree and Jeff made some great recommendations including canoeing along the dordogne and a visit to Chateau des Milandes. We would 100% recommend a stay and hope to return again next year.

We were greeted by Lucille , who spoke perfect English and Monsieur . We were shown all about the house, how to operate the jacuzzi and given excellent recommendations for the area. The booklet was invaluable particularly for village market days. The house is so attractively deco and so comfortable with everything you need to make your stay troubles free and relaxing. As we are from Australia we loved cooking outside on the BBQ. Being supplied with wraps for the jacuzzi was much appreciated as was the jacuzzi after climbing lots of steps visiting the castles. Our hosts all came to farewell us which was a lovely friendly touch. We thank you all for your lovely home and generous spirit of welcome. This is an excellent Perigord base and we strongly recommend it.

Me and my boyfriend and our two dogs had a great stay at the cottage, its really private and peaceful, nice to go for walks with the dogs, there are some farm animals to look at, fenced garden so the dogs can go out whenever, the pool and bbq was perfect when it was sunny and the jacuzzi was the best, it works perfect even when its rainy and windy because its inside. We had everything we needed, even a raclette machine which is always a big plus. Everything was clean, friendly host who was always quick to answer, really recommend this place 🤩☀️

i think I've never rented such a clean place and what a pleasure! The house matches the description and even better than the photos. The kitchen equipment is top notch. We felt right at home and it's not easy! Quiet house but shops are 5 minutes away by car. We found the hot tub nice to spend the new year. Thanks to Pauline for his availability and hospitality. Relaxing and refreshing family stay. Do it again in summer for this time to take advantage of the swimming pool.

Great place to stay if you plan to come to the Lot. The house is very beautiful, tastefully decorated and very well-equipped. Birdie was very available and responded favorably to all our requests. The garden is very nice for dinner in the evening. We will definitely be back here if we return to the area.

Had such a wonderful short break in this gorgeous medieval cottage set in a beautiful hamlet. Cressida is an amazing host who works tirelessly to make sure your stay is perfect. Her recommendations were spot on. She even shared directions for parking spots (it was bank holiday when we arrived so, at times, things were busy.) The cottage is gorgeous with Cressida’s touches everywhere. I particularly loved the bedding and the delightful way that the front door and windows open. It was lovely to wake up to the sound of birds, open the shutters and take in the historical ambience. We hired a car and travelled to Girona, the seaside and to other historical villages (each one just 20 minutes away). We also took the train to Barcelona - just a half hour journey from Girona. Honestly, we loved every minute of our stay. Can’t recommend the experience enough and would be back in a heartbeat. Thank you, Cressida.

The house is easily accessible. You can enter by collecting the keys from a box with a code that Carles gives you. The house is accessed by an easy ramp. The house is rectangular in shape. As soon as you enter, you'll find the open kitchen and living room. Around you are the three double rooms and the toilet. Two of the rooms have large windows overlooking the garden terrace and have fantastic views. You can have barbecues. The house is fully equipped and has heating and air conditioning. The beds are quite comfortable. It has a wood-burning fireplace. The TV is a Smart TV and you can connect to the different channels. The wifi works pretty well. The fridge is a very large and wide combi, with three drawers in the freezer. There's a Nespresso. The surroundings are beautiful. Full nature. You can do many excursions. You'll find people hiking and mountain biking. You can also see many cows, sheep and horses. Carles lives next door with his family. They're always attentive to what you need.

Beautiful place, quiet, and the view was amazing. I’ve never seen the sky and stars so picturesque at night. The hens and the donkeys were a cool added bonus. 10/10 would return. Jordi was very kind and hospitable.

A beautiful stay in nature with incredible and kind hosts. Highly recommend if you want a sweet getaway to meditate, lounge and be in peace.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It was our first acquaintance with the Aveyron; what a beautiful region. There is plenty to see and do, we will definitely come back.

Very welcoming, sympathetic house. It seemed as if the residents had gone away for a while for a message and would come back. Everything is present and works. Very nice television room (Roland Garros). Absolutely quiet location, you only hear nature and beautiful views over the hills.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome by Martin and Joanne. Lovely generous welcome gifts. Gite is pristine and has everything required and more. Linen and towels all good quality and also plenty supplied. Pool is fabulous and in such a private and pretty setting. We would love to come back in the near future. It is clear that Joanne and Martin work very hard to ensure their guests have the best experience.

We had a wonderful week at Coucou Cottage. The cottage is very well equipped and is beautifully styled and furnished throughout. Thédirac is a peaceful village, surrounded by gorgeous countryside. We enjoyed our morning trip to the boulangerie and there was so much to do in the area, we need to come back so we can do more! Rachel is a wonderful host, who made us feel extremely welcome and at home, we throughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

The airbnb matched the photos and description perfectly! It was warm, comfortable and decorated with taste. The guide to nearby activities and restaurants helped make our stay even more enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend this place and their hosts!

We had a very nice stay in Catherine and Jean-Pierre's cottage, little spoiled by time unfortunately which did not allow us to enjoy the beautiful exterior (terrace, garden, vegetable garden and pool), but a warm and well decorated cottage. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need, the living room has a fireplace very easy to use to find yourself by the fire in case of rain, the bedrooms are spacious and the 2 bathrooms make the preparation fluid in the morning! Getting together as a family (from Brittany, Rotterdam, Paris and Barcelona) in this beautiful green region, Catherine was good advice on all the activities of the region (equestrian center, castles, villages, chasms, hikes... ) and the visit of its beautiful vegetable garden - note however that it is necessary to rely on the car for all outings , the sites being at least 25 km away! We hope to return someday with milder weather to keep exploring!

My husband and I had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in the south of France. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at ease and instantly relaxed - something we haven’t managed to do in a long time. The cottage itself is stunning, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully equipped with every amenity you could possibly need. Daniella and Robert were excellent hosts - warm, welcoming, and incredibly respectful of our space. They struck the perfect balance between being available when needed and giving us complete privacy. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made our stay feel special from start to finish. We left feeling completely recharged and are already dreaming of our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking to truly unwind in a beautiful and peaceful setting.

A lovely private old cottage on beautiful grounds with a swimming pool. The cottage is fenced in, so the dog can run free in the garden. It has everything you need and is nice and cool on hot summer days. Patrick was so welcoming. We loved our stay here.

An oasis of peace and nature. Hoodoo, woodpecker and oriole to observe directly, great. The cottage directly on the forest, more spacious than expected, comfortable large bed, everything comfortable and stylishly furnished. Friendly and helpful welcome with fresh strawberries and good tips from Francois and caring communication with Michele. We felt very comfortable.

Nice little accommodation, well-equipped, with a very nice terrace sheltered from view. Quiet and very well located, in the heart of the beautiful village of Bruniquel with very beautiful walks to do. Leila is a very generous and caring host for her guests. A pleasure!

We spent a wonderful week on holiday in a beautiful house with stunning views, ideal for two families with children. There were plenty of toys to keep the kids entertained and loads of space for them to run around and play. It was just a short drive into town, where we enjoyed delicious pastries, a friendly café, and a tasty lunch. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and always available if we needed anything. We’d happily return!
