Hotel vacation rentals in Middletown

I stayed at Chris’ place with my husband and 3 month old for 3 nights. Great location on Thames Street and walkable to restaurants, shops, Cliff Walk, and more. You can definitely hear the people on the 3rd floor, but the AC’s in each bedroom helped with that and was not a deal breaker. The place was spacious, beautifully decorated, spotless, and had ample TV’s and bathrooms which was great. We’d definitely stay here again!

We would love to return. We had a wedding a the Newport Beach house so it was super easy to walk across the street and walk back after the event.

Wonderful place....beautiful, clean, comfortable and so much more. Can walk to lots of restaurants, etc. Or Uber will pick you up on the corner which we did. Mansions close, too. The morning downstairs breakfast was much more than expected, delicious! The check in lady and everyone who worked there were polite and helpful. Much better than a hotel! I highly recommend.

The location, the services, the accommodations and their extreme attention to every detail made this the place we never wanted to leave. We will be back again and again. I was so happy to have a room with a view of the ocean (though it included a view of some telephone lines and street lights, just fyi) and to be literally across the street from the beach. The room was spacious and calm, with lots of natural light, the bed was huge and comfy and clean, the parking was easy, and I really thought this was a great base for my Newport trip. Note; I stayed int he original building.

Clean, easy, 1 mile to downtown Newport, walk across to the beach, great parking. Good value, last min end of Summer booking.

This was a perfect place for our last minute getaway to Newport for the night! Easy to find, safe and quality parking and walkable to all of the main attractions. Mark was a great host. We stayed in the apartment off of the main house and will plan to return for stays in the future! Thanks for having us! See you soon! :)

Nice place has all the amenities. Close to shopping and your bus stop. Will definitely stay again.

Excellent service

The place was quaint, loved the scenery. Tim was nice enough to help me with my bag and go over all of the policies and answer any questions I had. The location was good for the events I needed to attend. I enjoyed taking all the back roads to Westerly, Preston, Stonington and Mystic, as well as a few others. I enjoyed my stay and highly recommend The Stagecoach Inn.

Cozy place , friendly staff, breakfast is a nice touch especially with an employee who makes you feel like home. She is great deserves big star.

Great location & I absolutely loved the boutique hotel feel. They had just the right amount of amenities & the proximity to the beach as well as the outdoor patio were perfect! I do wish there were some curtains in the room as it was very hard to escape the sun once it came up however the natural light is certainly nice. Would absolutely come back here again in the future!!

This place was awesome. The room was beautifully designed, everything was clean, and the beds were so comfy. We are bummed we didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant downstairs.

James’ place was wonderful! He left very clear instructions on check in and there were clear labels on everything. There were even some snacks and drinks left in the room! Bathroom and bedroom clean and comfortable. A quick uber to the convention center each morning made for a wonderfully easy trip!

This was the perfect stay for our weekend away (for a family wedding down the block at The Towers). This boutique hotel had everything we needed for a fantastic stay. The vibes at Surf Shack were 10/10 the whole time, the staff was extremely helpful and while we didn't get a chance to eat at the restaurant, the food looked incredible! We really enjoyed our time on the back patio, sipping cocktails and enjoying the gorgeous night's sky. We also found Room 3 to be a really great value when compared to other hotels in the area. The room itself, while cozy, was very well appointed and did not feel small or crowded. Everything in the room was purposeful and chic. We simply loved every aspect of our stay!!
