Monthly Rentals in Miavaig

This is an absolutely stunning location and the house was very comfortable, and good value for money. There were lots of nice touches; we brought our two year old and there was a cot and highchair available as well as toys, movies and buckets/spades/beach toys. The kitchen was well stocked and we had everything we needed. A short walk to several beautiful beaches. Carol Ann was very kind, and responded quickly to messages. Would highly recommend this lovely stay.

Wonderful location, right on a beautiful sandy beach. The cottage was really nice with everything we needed. It was a great base to explore Lewis and Harris. As someone who likes to watch birds, there was lots of activity in the area. There are sea eagles in the area, I saw them flying above the cottage 6 out of the 7 days we were there.

This was my first stay in a pod. I was pleasantly surprised by the roominess. Everything is maintained to a high standard. Tosh provided lots of helpful written information too. I would love to stay again. Did I mention the blissfully comfortable bed?!

The house is beautiful in amazing surroundings. We spent ages looking at the beach ever changing with the tides and the immense skies. We were lucky with the weather but the experience must be just as impressive in bad conditions. The house is comfortable and has all that is needed to spend time in including cooking and relaxing (great home cinema!). Gillian had also left us a good supply of all the essentials. The beach is at the bottom of the garden, great for swimming. The area is very remote and we did not go much further than the Calanais standing stones and the local peninsulas and beaches. A trip to Stornoway is worth it and just under an hour away. The bay has a local shop with everything required, a nice community cafe and a nice and very expensive restaurant, Uig Sands with an exceptional location and view. We just had an amazing time and Gillian and Richard were very helpful and friendly.
