Monthly Rentals in Merri-Bek City

My priority was that it was a great location for visiting family in the area, but it is also easy walking distance to a few restaurants, great coffee shops, supermarket and getting the train or the tram into the centre of Melbourne to explore the City. The apartment is very well equipped and to a high standard. There is a washing machine and the apartment is warm so if you need to wash clothes they dry quickly on the airer's provided. Could not fault the apartment at all and excellent communication with Rose at all times.

Our stay at Oikis worked really well for my husband and I, a retired Adelaide couple who were visiting Melbourne for five nights to catch up with family. The unit has a Scandi feel and has been cleverly designed to catch the northern sun and garden views from the living room and bedroom. With high ceilings, it is spacious, private and light filled. The kitchen is really functional, has a large fridge, oven and hot plates. Tessa was a great host, quick to respond (much better than us!). The bed was comfortable. Melbourne was super cold so we didn’t explore the local area much on foot, but enjoyed a walk around the nearby Coburg lake

It's been a real pleasure to stay at Mick and Lisa's place. It is a modern quiet separate bungalow in the back garden of the house with private outdoor areas for relaxation. Mick met me on arrival and gave me tour of the accomodation and provided all the information I needed. The bungalow has modern furnishings including a 75" TV and luxurious leather sofa and is well insulated with heating provided by split A/c and electric heater. Whilst there is no stove there is a variety of cooking appliances including a convection microwave, electric frying pan, electric grill as well as the BBQ outside so cooking a wide range of meals is possible. Mick and Lisa allow their guests complete privacy but are happy to have a chat if you want. Highly recommend.

I think I can now say I’m a regular at Monique’s! Monique is quite simply the perfect host. The guesthouse is always spotlessly clean and well provisioned. I visit often to see family living nearby and won’t stay anywhere else. Thanks Monique, without your guesthouse, my family visits would not be so easy.
