Family-friendly vacation rentals in Menton

We stayed with Domi for almost a week during our trip to the Côte d'Azur and would have liked to have stayed longer. The small vacation home is perfectly located to walk to the village, the harbor and the two city beaches. Other beaches are within 10-15 minutes by car. The outdoor kitchen and pool are a dream. We stayed outside almost all the time and always felt comfortable. Although you live at home with Domi, her husband and her dog, there is plenty of privacy. The hosts are also very warm and helpful. Overall, one of the best Airbnbs we've ever stayed at. Absolutely recommended.

We had a wonderful few days. The best part is the view on the sea which is absolutely fabulous. Best place to relax, to have some food, a nice enjoyable drink. Apartment is also very well equipped, especially the kitchen. There is no air conditioning, but much better to dive in the swimming pool or the sea (first access at the end of a few steps) if you need to cool down. From there we did a few beautiful day trip to Cannes, Nice and Monaco, all easy to reach, and enjoyed taking the time to go by the road by the sea. Roberto was also available before and during our trip to provide very good instructions and advices (like local restaurants). Always available and always provided a friendly answer. And thanks for the paddle board which allowed us to visit nearby beaches.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is beautifully designe, maintained and comfortable. TV in both lounge and bedroom. A small kitchen has all you need for preparing meals. Quadruple glazing cuts out traffic noise from the promenade traffic. The view of the sea is stunning with lots of interest from boats of all descriptions from fishing boats to super-yachts. The promenade is used by cyclists, runners, in-line skaters and is also great for walking. We visited the very interesting and beautiful Renoir house, a museum within walking distance from the apartment. Nice, Monaco, Antibes and Cannes are all within easy reach by rail, which we found to be the best transport. Buses stop outside the flat, especially the 41 which takes you into the centre of town where there are frequent street markets and a covered market selliing fresh fish meat and veg. Numerous restaurants, french, italian, asian are all within easy walking distance. Highly recommended. Peter and Elizabeth Bryant

We a great time at Christophe's place! It was so beautiful and peaceful. There were lots of local restaurants and his wife kindly gave us a recommendation for somewhere to eat seafood. She was especially lovely because she allowed me to practice my limited French! Christophe's son took us out on his boat for snorkeling and exploring the Cote D'Azur- a truly unforgettable experience! Thanks everyone!

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at Emmanuelle and Philippe's cottage. We sadly ran into some travel issues that reduced our stay to just one night, but it was a wonderful experience. The hosts were very flexible and accommodating with our travel issues and allowed us to store our bags there past checkout - it was so helpful and very kind! Their daughter greeted us with some croissants and lavender when we arrived, which was a very thoughtful gesture after the stress of our flight. The area is so quiet and private, and the pool is lovely with great views. The location of the AirBnB is also great - Vence is a wonderful area that really transports you back in time. We also enjoyed saying hello to Macintosh and Prunelle! :) Overall, a wonderful stay with wonderful hosts - I would recommend to anyone!

Raymond and Anne share with guests their beautiful home, but they are exceptionally warm, interesting, and charming people to meet. It was an excellent combination for a magical and memorable vacation to Monaco. I would not go back unless we can stay with them again! Besides the amazing views, refreshing pool and clean jacuzzi, there were even fireworks several of the nights over the bay! Our hosts generously left wine, snacks, and coffee in the unit, as well as a fully stocked bathroom. More than anything, we really loved spending time with them. Highly recommend this AirBnB!

We had a great stay. The house is very nice and welcoming, Régine was very good at hosting us and even advised us what to do in the area, I would recommend it without hesitation. 😊

We really enjoyed our stay. We loved swimming in the pool to cool off after sightseeing in the area. The kitchen was well-stocked with dishes and cooking utensils to cook in the outdoor kitchen. The setting is beautiful with a fantastic garden with interesting plants and flowers and a view of Nice and the sea on a clear day.

I cannot describe in words how beautiful and amazing our stay was, but I will try. The location: Beautiful place. House located uphill but there are buses from the centre (close to the beach) that leaves you close to the house. We just walked uphill each day and cooled off in the pool later ;) Sergia was kind enough to offer picking us up from the centre a few times too but the walk is quite nice. The house: Exactly as described and as in pictures. Serene garden, cute pool, well stocked kitchen and cozy interiors. This villa comes with a terrace with a sea view, a beautiful front garden. The other villa has a slightly larger front garden. Since no one was in the other villa, Sergia let us go in there as well. There is a common garden out front with the pool. Everything was beautiful and cozy. The hosts: Sergia and Orso were so kind, I cannot explain it. Sergia baked us some cake and cut us some fruit. Because we were late to get there, Orso even went grocery shopping for us.

Erwin and Liliane are very friendly hosts, they live ‘next door’ but never intruded on our privacy. They were very helpful when we asked about anything (how to work the gas plancha, which villages to visit) The view is absolutely stunning. We had a large terrace plus the pool area to admire it from and of course the pool itself which I used every day. The area is a mix of busy coastal towns and quieter mountain scenery and villages. Great restaurant nearby. The apartment itself is a little old fashioned in places, but it had everything we needed. We were very happy there. Thank you Liliane and Erwin!

This place is such a gem. It’s spacious and well-appointed with everything you could need for your stay. It would be very comfortable for a long term stay, too. The bed is comfortable, air conditioning perfect, and it’s a peaceful and private location. The apartment itself has so much personality and charm. Edith was incredibly responsive and helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. Can’t recommend enough!

Our stay at Florence’s was beautiful. The studio is absolutely gorgeous, thoughtfully decorated, bright, and comfortable. Florence and her friend who welcomed us were exceptionally kind and helpful, making us feel right at home. It was a lovely experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend!

Had a fantastic stay at Jon's place in Villefranche. The house is set up perfectly for a family gathering and stands up to the pictures. Well located in the hills above Villefranche-sur-mer, it served as a great base for our family to explore the area around Nice.

Dear Frederique and dear Olivier, we already miss your beautiful and characterful apartment! Eight days of Nice seemed to us for a long time, but were far too short. We would like to immerse ourselves in the exciting and friendly neighborhood and the amazing architecture of the city for much longer. And walking on the water, sitting on the beach with a glass of wine, enjoying the good food in small restaurants... Nice will definitely see us again and if we are lucky, also your apartment :) Thank you both for always fast and accurate communication and Olivier for picking up at the tram station, for the suitcase service in the stairwell(!!) and the bottle of rosé to welcome you. You're a great host!

We had a lovely week staying here, the surroundings are beautiful and it was amazing to have access to the pool. Catherine was very friendly and accommodating, providing tips and even food when we arrived late. We will definitely come back!

Beautiful apartment with great views, very peaceful surroundings and a lovely pool area and private outdoor area. Yvan and Peter are very friendly and make great hosts. Quite a long drive up a very windy mountain road to get to the Airbnb but becomes a lot easier with practice and the Airbnb was easy to find with clear instructions on how to check in! Perfect location for day trips to all the towns on the Côte d’Azur!

This was our third time staying at Valerie’s house and we loved it as much as we did on our previous visits. Beautiful house, garden and the pool is wonderful. The villa is very well-equipped and clean and the communication is always prompt and helpful. We’ll be back next year!

Lovely stay at Delphines Airbnb. Perfect host, quick to respond to any questions about our stay, accessible enough area to the beach front, shops and restaurants as well as a short walk to the tram stop to take us into Old Nice.

We have had a wonderful stay at Philippe’s home. The house was beautiful and particularly suitable for our family stay with a small baby. He was very accommodating answering any queries promptly. The information instructions provided were very detailed and helpful. The swimming pool was wonderful as the weather was hot and the air conditioning was very welcome. We were a group of six and the house was very spacious with plenty of room for three couples and a baby. We would like to thank Philippe for hosting us. We have wonderful memories of a lovely holiday at Cagnes sur Mer.

Chrystelle was very approachable throughout, from booking, through our stay until our leaving. The place is beautiful, so is the whole property very well taken care of. The chapel lacks nothing, was spotless and the guests await a proper folder with detailed information about Grasse. Chrystelle is very warm, sophisticated and a respectful host. A truly superlative experience! Angela is a caring and kind host, she fills you with attention and gifts from her lush garden (lemon and sweet and juicy grapefruit). The location is enviable for its view and tranquility, while the pool and gazebo/solarium are a bonus worthy of an exclusive resort. In short, this gem on the hills of Ventimiglia, a stone's throw from Menton, is an accommodation option not to be missed!

We had a wonderful week with Marie-Jo in her apartment in Antibes. Everything your heart desires is available, nothing is missing! From coffee machine, towels, bottle opener, ironing board to washing machine and a more than well-equipped kitchen. The balcony has been our highlight, the view extends to Nice and further to the Alps - every one magical!! The apartment is a 45-55 minute walk to the city. There's something you need to walk. However, there are also bicycles that you can rent in the city for €10 a day, because there are more than enough bike paths. We had a wonderful stay! :)
