What a lovely little gem. We were totally surprised by the beauty of our surroundings, and the cleanliness of the home. We were lucky enough to be there during the most perfect weather and got to meet lots of other families vacationing in the area. We will definitely be back and I’ve already shared the spot with friends and family so that they can enjoy this little treasure. I’m so glad that we found this place. It made the trip to go see the eclipse extra special! The lake was the perfect place to take our kids to go do a little fishing and kayaking. Completely satisfied and happy with our experience!

Amazing getaway! We have been doing cabins on the river for a couple of years, and this is by far the best one we’ve come across. Having the kayaks, canoe and fishing poles on hand ensured our boys had plenty of adventures while we were there. The view is amazing and river access is excellent. The entire cabin was immaculately clean. The kitchen was superb. Cooking utensils were top notch, and everything was well stocked. The cabin itself is beautifully furnished and the space is perfect for extended family or a larger group, yet still inviting and cozy. Gary and Terri were so accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. If you are looking for nature, seclusion and fun on the river, then this is the place! We made great memories on our visit and will definitely return!

Loved being in the woods! Beautiful location. A few things do not work… the grill and fireplace. Also we couldn’t find firewood and it’s not provided. These were minor things to us and we enjoyed our stay.

Two night getaway for 6th wedding anniversary. Peaceful, quiet, restful time. Bed was super comfortable and the fireplace was wonderful over the colder than normal weekend. Enjoyed eating at the Ouachitas and the Chopping Block and looking around the family owned furniture store. Friendly greetings all around!

Our family stayed in the Cottage and the Cowboy and enjoyed our stay there so much. Holly was an excellent host. Both cabins were very clean, had everything we needed, and so presentable when you walked in The hot tub was a plus! We hope to stay there again. Charlotte

This is our favorite place to stay because of its location, view, and reasonable prices! We’ve stayed here several times and have always been comfortable. We came with friends this time and loved our trip! The view is amazing! It’s very accessible to Wolf Pen Gaps West & South Trailheads. It’s spacious with comfortable king size beds in 2 rooms. The 3rd room has two twin beds and bunk beds. There’s a newish and comfortable couch that reclines now! What a surprise this was!! There’s no WiFi or cable but a huge library of DVDs if you need entertainment. Our cell phones don’t work here but it gives us an excuse to climb nearby Eagle Mountain when we need to contact someone. We absolutely love it here and will always choose this place first when we travel here!

This was a dream place. We took our grandson and from the minute we drove up it was perfect! Playscape, horseshoes, corn hole, swing, a gorgeous pond, trails and a wonderful hill for beginner mountain bikers. We did not what to do first. The cabin was very peaceful, clean and comfortable. We loved the front porch swing and the covered back porch with the soft glow of swing lights. This would make anyones stress level go down. The cabin was well equipped and wonderfully decorated. I loved the "be kind and stay humble" theme that subtly showed up. It was a great conversation piece for me and my grandson. We had a storm come through during our stay. The rain on the metal roof was wonderful. And when they thought the storm may get a little rowdy Ryan and April offered a storm shelter. Thankfully none was needed just a nice refreshing rain. I can not wait to go again and take 3 grands with us. I can not wait to make some more "s'omores" on that fire pit! Thank you Ryan and April, it was !

We had a great time here! It's a beautiful and peaceful location. It's great for stargazing as well. The cabin itself is fantastic, I love the aesthetic and interior. Paul was a great host!

We had a great stay. The area is nice and peaceful. The cabin was very cozy and clean and had everything you need for a home away from home. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

She is always on hold ready to help and assist with anything and any questions! The cabin is cute and very comfortable. Room enough for a family and very safe and private. I reccomend! And definitely will go back

Breathtaking views, beautiful home. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Our family had a wonderful Christmas trip and the hosts were very helpful.
