A wonderful drive down a one lane gravel rd with beautiful views of the mountains in both directions to a relaxing/secluded hideaway in the woods to unwind with nature/star gazing. We have a great walk to Lake James. We are nestled at the bottom of Linville Gorge where you can swim/hike/mountain bike. We are 1 1/2miles to Fonta Flora brewery and to Paddys Creek State Park. We have access to Fonta Flora Trail. Morganton/Marion have lots of great restaurants. We are a 1hr drive to Asheville/Boone.

The chalet is a warm and comfy place to relax, cool off, hike/bike a trail or two, enjoy long-range views as the chalet elevation is 3,383 feet (Mt Mitchell is 6,683), listen to some good music, sip your favorite drink and rejuvenate your soul. NO four-wheel drive is needed to get to the chalet EXCEPT possibly in the winter months. The mountain roads are curvy and the subdivision is steep in parts but ALL the roads are paved and well maintained. Dog accepted w/ prior approval (fee applies).

Enjoy the beautiful views on our private 1.5 acre lot! We are offering our 2 bedroom/2 bath home with a fire place located in Burnsville NC just off Hwy 19E. Outside, enjoy views while sitting on the large covered deck, or sit on the stone patio around the fire pit looking at the stars.. Our gravel road has been completely redone..no longer a problem for any vehicle. (All wheel drive vehicles are recommended during the months of December thru end of February, If severe weather is forecasted)
