Downstairs The kitchen has everything you need including a full size dishwasher, microwave and enough pots, pans & utensils to whip up a fabulous meal. A fabulous Nespresso coffee machine and pods provided means you’ll wake up on your first morning with a kick start to the day. The dining table extends to seat up to 4 guests, the Smart television and inclusive internet means you’ll have all you need to relax or entertain. The open fire uses kiln dried logs or similar giving a wonderful homely feel to snuggle up. Upstairs You’ll find a sumptuous double bed, wardrobe with drawers, hairdryer and iron & mini-board. The desperate fully refurbished bathroom has a large shower, basin and all the amenities you’ll need to refresh yourself for a great day out or ready to relax.

We stayed at Gemma’s property for two nights and had a wonderful time. The property is spacious and clean with lovely views and was very quiet and peaceful. We both slept really well, the bed is very comfortable. The house is well stocked with everything you need to cook and also plenty of games for entertainment. Additionally, the property is in a great location with a very short walk to Matlock Bath high street, the Cable cars and also the train station, where the train into Matlock is just two minutes. Gemma was always quick to respond and really helpful throughout our stay. Overall we had an excellent time and would stay again in future. Thank you Gemma!

This is a lovely place to stay. It is a secluded building with privacy, despite being in the garden of the owner's house. The only very minor point is that it is quite close to a busy road, so if you are a light sleeper you might notice a little traffic noise at night from louder vehicles. I can wholeheartedly recommend staying here, the hosts were easy to deal with and kindly left us a few essentials and nibbles for our stay.

The best air b n b we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in a lot of places. I would recommend this over and over again and have done already and we have only been home a few hours! THANKYOU so much for allowing us to enjoy your home ! Top notch

Worked for us very well. Ideally located, very close to the railway station and the two main bus stop locations, and almost right on the route of the Derwent Valley Heritage Way. Couldn't really be more convenient for walking or for the local industrial history. Also very close to at least two decent-sized supermarkets, and multiple restaurants and cafes. The kitchen seemed excellently equipped, but we never had cause to use it. Comfy lounge chairs much appreciated after a day's walking! The apartment does overlook a fairly busy road, with some pubs, &c., so there was some noise, especially on Friday and Saturday evening – didn't seem excessive to us, but not the place if you want perfect countryside quiet. Also the two flights of stairs up are really quite steep.
