Vacation rentals with breakfast in Markermeer

Jochem's place is, as others have said, whimsical and creative. He is the ultimate host, very generous with snacks, groceries, coffee, and wine (thank you!). It is clear that he has worked hard to create a unique environment. Here is our list of pros and cons: Pros: Communicative, responsive, kind and generous host Great, safe location - we walked everywhere in this beautiful city Very well stocked fridge, a bottle of wine as a welcome Great shower Nice, big bed Washer and dryer Cons: While Jochem has created nice "mood" lighting, it was somewhat dark for us, and particularly for a woman trying to put on makeup, fix hair, etc. There was absolutely no storage for our clothing, and being on a long trip, it was a challenge living out of suitcases on the floor. The toilet room sink is very tiny with only cold water, and we had to use the kitchen sink to wash up and brush our teeth. I could barely walk around the bed as it takes up most of the bedroom.

Our stay was a pleasant stay. We were with 4 adults. Ideal because there were 2 floors with 2 bathrooms etc. All amenities were provided. Coffee, tea, spa in the fridge Etc. Pleasant beds. Very neat bathrooms. And then the breakfast. We can only say one thing about it. Most hotels can learn from this. Just a lot of fresh and tasty. In short, a very strong recommendation as far as we are concerned. Maybe we'll come back

Great little place in a private garden

Wonderful stay in the beautiful Betuwe. Beautiful location and you can do many things if you like nature. In addition, you are in a central place and you are quickly in Utrecht or Den bosch if you want to look up the city.

We were with 2 children and our dog in the great, clean and lovingly furnished accommodation of Lisette. We felt right at home and had a lot to experience. For the children, it was an experience to sleep in the wooden bed and see the animals. Feeding the ducks was particularly fun for them. Lisette's breakfast is very plentiful and well arranged - as in Hotel :) All in all, it's a great place to stay - 15 minutes from a very nice beach! The restaurants in the vicinity are also very good and Naaldwijk is a pretty little town. We'd love to come back! Thank you!

Joost and his wife are particularly welcoming. Their warm side helped make our stay familiar and friendly. Excellent bedding. Perfect cleanliness. Breakfast brought every morning with a smile was carefully prepared, good and hearty. This moment was an opportunity to chat a little with an open and caring couple. The apartment, easy to find - is extremely pleasant, well furnished, accessible and in a green and peaceful setting. The tram that takes us to the city center and the Museum district is a 3-minute walk and the trams are frequent. We didn't regret not being in the city center at all Everything was positive. We would recommend Joost and his wife's apartment without hesitation.

We had a wonderful stay at José's. She was flexible and very welcoming. The accommodation is very nice, very bright. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and hearty. And finally, the setting is exceptional: Vianen is a great place. I highly recommend that you visit Vianen via José!

Cozy, spacious house with sauna and jacuzzi. The house is cozily furnished and in a quiet location. There is plenty of space to sit outside as well.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The place was clean and comfortable. The host was responsive, and made sure instructions were clear. The location was convenient and quiet, with easy access to shops and restaurants. It felt like a home away from home. I recommend this spot and would definitely stay here again. Overall, very good experience all around!

We stayed in the apartment for a weekend and felt very comfortable. With the bikes you could easily reach the nearby metro station and we had a good time in Amsterdam. The landlords were very friendly and always easily accessible. I highly recommend this place for Amsterdam stays.

We loved our time in this artsy, welcoming and charming little spot! Lex and Sylvie were very responsive and helpful, checking in and also leaving some great nibbles in the kitchen (fruit, juice, yogurt, cheese, jam, butter and much more!) They also gave us a heads up about the Utrecht Pride event, which is not to be missed if you can be there for it. The boat parade goes right down the lovely canal right outside the door. We loved walking around the neighborhood, with great restaurants and bakeries. The apartment was the perfect space for our two adults and one teen and we took advantage of sitting out front along the canal every single day. It’s an older building and you can hear the floorboards upstairs but it was never an issue for sleeping because Lex and Sylvie didn’t seem to be night owls. I would love to come back someday!

Malo and Maarten were excellent hosts who met us on arrival and showed us around their very well-appointed and well-stocked home. Their place has everything you could possibly need or even think about needing such that we didn't even need to contact them for anything during our stay. The personal touches made it even better. We felt right at home in their beautifully designed home and were able to access the entire city easily from this location. We definitely recommend Blueprint B&B 100%!

What a nice place! We really enjoyed our stay with Ans and Anton. Their B&B was the perfect base for the wedding we were going to. And how sweet: when it was pouring out of the sky, Anton even brought us the car! The next morning we were spoiled with a delicious breakfast. Everything was taken care of to the last detail. Impressive building, cozy bed, lots of beautiful ancient details. The location is great, once across the less busy road and you are in the beautiful city center. Annelies greeted us, explained the parking lot and the house. She filled the refrigerator beforehand so that we could have breakfast. We enjoyed our stay and will be happy to come back! Wilhemina is an absolutely wonderful host who goes above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. From the moment I booked, she provided detailed information and checked in about our arrival time. The room was beautifully prepared with thoughtful touches like local tourist brochures for Amsterdam and Rotterdam. Despite inaccessible kitchen, she generously provided complimentary breakfast each morning, and the bathroom facilities were excellent. The location is truly special for nature lovers - peaceful and surrounded by greenery where you can truly unwind. However, future guests should be aware of a few practical considerations: there are stairs to navigate with luggage (pack light if possible), and the property is about 30km from Amsterdam city center. While accessible by public transport (metro + bus or two buses), the journey takes time, and evening/night bus frequency reduces to 30-60 minute intervals. This is a perfect retreat for travelers who prioritize tranquility.

We felt very comfortable with Sharon and Djurre from the beginning. They are particularly friendly and approachable hosts and are helpful in every way and open to questions. The apartment is fully equipped and very comfortable due to a generous interior design. Every morning, Sharon prepared a lavish and very varied breakfast that we very much enjoyed. The location of the apartment is very convenient: You can easily and quickly reach many interesting places and tourist attractions from here. In short, we can warmly recommend the place to everyone. It is a special place that is run with a lot of love, in the middle of nature where Fuchs and Has' say good night. We slept in the lower room. The breakfast in Saskia's kitchen /living room was prepared with a lot of love,even freshly squeezed orange juice ❤️The rooms are exceptional and special. We had fantastic days again; we were allowed to stay here for a 2nd time, now in another season. The accommodation is very cozy and has everything you need (and much more) for a wonderfully relaxing stay in a truly beautiful setting, where there is a lot to do and see. Very nice owners and Bertina is an absolute top host in every way. Her fresh, healthy and varied breakfast is also not to be exceeded. T Veldhoentje gets a big 10 from us! We'd love to come back.

Irmi is a fantastic host and a great person. My room was exactly as per the photos and description. Irmi sent across useful information about transport in the area, and was always quick to reply to messages. Nice 20 minute walk to the local train station, with bus option also available from near the house to the station. Amsterdam centre only 20 minutes by train from there. Overall would highly recommend, thanks again for having me stay Irmi and for the lovely breakfasts!

Mark is an exceptional host and a great person. The house was like walking into design/art fairytale and it was maintained so incredibly well. Everything was so well-maintained, carefully curated and well-placed. Truly a beautiful experience to stay there.
