Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Markermeer

We had an excellent stay at Anneke’s place. The place was quite aesthetic as well as so convenient with an amazing garden. Our 3 year old daughter especially enjoyed the trampoline and the swing in the garden. The location was really apt, we could do day trips to Amsterdam, Zaanse Schans, Hague, Utrecht, Haarlem. Overall a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic location and very thoughtful host. Clean, modern, wonderfully quiet but still within walking distance of supermarket and nice restaurants and not unimportant... a lot of privacy... The fireplace and private garden made it completely complete. Highly recommend!

We stayed a few nights with our 2 small kids, mainly to visit Amsterdam, and had a wonderful time. The house was great for us, very clean, enough space for everyone, very nice neighbourhood and restaurants and shops were close by bike or walking. We took the car to the nearest train station (Bussum Zuid) with free parking but without kids and less rain, walking would also have been easily possible. Jaap was very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. We would happily come again!

Lovely stay in a beautiful location with easy access to Amsterdam using public transport. Very helpful hosts with frequent communication answering any questions and even booking dinner on our behalf. Highly recommended!

We had a very relaxing 5 nights. Kees and Karen were impeccable hosts, laidback and always helpful. We didn't come by car, but it's easy to get into Utrecht either by bus or tram. Would definitely book again.

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in! It was spotlessly clean (not a speck of dust anywhere!), everything had been thought of (including a welcome bottle of bubbles!), it was spacious, and very convenient for public transport....oh, and stylishly decorated! Being close to the train station meant that we could easily get into central Amsterdam, as well as go on day trips to Rotterdam and Zaanse Schans during our stay. Our favourite day was renting bikes in Zaanse Schans for the day and enjoying cycling through the countryside. Very happily recommend this place to others looking for a base near Amsterdam.

We had a wonderful relaxing vacation for two. :) The place is really beautiful and you feel right at home.

The stay at Marjolein and Michiel's was exceptionally nice and cozy. Quietly located, beautiful ambiance with private pond terrace and garden. Ideal for cycling tours to the World Heritage Site to the mills in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, as well as to Dordrecht. The water bus is also highly recommended! Since my husband turned 60, Michiel had thoughtfully put a nice bottle of Prosecco in the fridge for us in advance. Breakfast was very tasty and extensive. The beds are very comfortable. Overall, the room could be darkened well for sleeping. The car could be parked very safely in the courtyard. Thank you so much again for the wonderful stay!! It’s very good and charming place to stay

Eat a nice cottage! There were two of us here for a workation: working during the day but in a different environment for the holiday feeling outside working hours. We were able to set up two workspaces, one in the kitchen and one in the attic. There were better chairs for us for that reason, very nice. It is small but meets all expectations, well described and even more atmospheric than expected in advance. The weather was nice so also nice in the garden.

Nanda’s place is very spacious and comfortable, with lovely large windows and all the facilities you would need. The apartment is on the first floor (no lift!) with the hosts’ living area on the ground floor and bedrooms on the second floor. Easy 5 minute walk to buses, just 3 stops to Central Utrecht. Nanda was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. Recommended!

Margor and Steven are nice and attentive, they give us a lot of helpful information about the area. The location is near the Zaandam train station and convenient when travelling to Amsterdam city centre. A very nice and cosy place to stay in NL.

Our stay at Jessica’s loft was peaceful, next to walking/biking paths and an awesome ice cream shop. It was close to friends of ours in the Netherlands. The home is in a structure from the 1800’s. Very cool!

Very lovingly and practically furnished apartment. Nothing is missing and everything is very clean and tidy. Behind the house there is a very nice seating area with an open view over the field to Pinjum. The stairs are very steep, as everywhere in Holland, but the sleeping bunk is cozy with a small window and beautiful views. The plants and animals on the grounds invite you to take short walks.

Great accommodation with everything you need! We felt very comfortable and everything was explained to us well upon arrival. We felt very comfortable.

Very nice house in a wonderful location. The water property with the beautiful terrace is really special. The house is bright and spacious. We arrived as a family with 7 people, it was perfect for that. In March, it was still a little chilly to use the terrace extensively, but the fireplace in the cozy living room was worth gold. We felt very comfortable.

The property is located 20 mins from Schiphol Airport, in a quiet gated community. The house was neat and clean and located beside a water canal. The kitchen and cutlery were well stocked. The furniture was comfortable. Plenty of towels provided. Easy to get to the city and to the other attractions. As stated in the description there is no washer / dryer. Bedrooms are located on the floor above the ground floor, the stairs are a bit steep. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive, friendly and courteous. Upon request we were given a late checkout which was very helpful and very kind of the host. Indeed a superhost! Would love to come back someday!

Great location. Walking distance to Cocksdorp. At the edge of the park, therefore a nice view and tranquility. Easily traveled by car. Three bathrooms, so good for groups (in our case three families) and yet privacy and private place.

Had a wonderful stay at the Princenhof in Oranjewoud. Elbert will let you know how to get in and responds quickly. The Jagershuis is spacious, private and is wonderfully located in the woods. What peace and space. Other than that, everything is available and just great!

Splendid place for a weekend with friends. Big enough for 12 people, with a gorgeous garden and a nordic bath. We really enjoyed our stay! Only point which could be improved: the kitchen is a bit small if you want to cook.

Insanely great house with super nice hosts. Joke and Peter always help with quick answers and give good tips. There are tips for activities, also to be found directly in the house. The house is a real dream and you feel right at home. We love staying here and have come here once a year so far.
