Hidden Creeks Hideaway

MargueriteRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Wish I could give this place an extra star. The area is just gorgeous. The hiking trails, zip line for the kids, yard games and gas fire pit made us never want to leave the property. We spent mornings on the porch drinking coffee and watching dozens of hummingbirds bulking up for migration. Lots of room for our kids, their spouses, and grandkids. It was magical. The owners are just lovely people, and super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They treated us like friends. We’d all love to go back!

What a gorgeous place!! We stayed 3 nights and almost didn't wanna leave. From the moment we walked in, it felt cozy and homey, the perfect place to relax with incredible views! The beds were amazingly comfy, the whole house was a dream, and it was literally the best stocked Airbnb I've ever stayed in. Jill and Brian are perfect hosts!

The Mountain Manor

KerstinRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Came here for my birthday and had an AWESOME stay! Check-In process is super simple and we were even able to pay an extra fee for an early check in - which was much appreciated! Airbnb looked exactly as pictured - honestly even better in person. Loved all the small touches! Host was very responsive and helpful with any questions I had. I loved having the local recommendations/guidebook. We tried a handful of the hosts recommendations and they did NOT disappoint. The amenities on the property (hot tub, sauna, bath house) were GREAT and truly made our stay. We enjoyed spending time in downtown Salida for food/coffee… but aside from that we didn’t want to leave our place we loved it so much! Had such a great time we plan on coming back to check out one of the other Airbnb’s on the property. Definitely recommend!

We absolutely LOVED our stay! It gave us the full Colorado experience with the flowing creek and beautiful scenery! The cabin had all the things need to cook and grill. The mountain top views from the living room windows (all the windows really) is unmatched and incredible to wake up to every morning! The property offers a lot of privacy and space to explore! The hot tub was the cherry on top! We can’t say enough good things about our stay! This Cabin will forever be a special place for our family holding many core memories!

La Blanca Vista Casita-Minutes From Reservoir!

AllanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Great place, great hosts, and great location for visiting the sand dunes! Cute cabin just outside "downtown" Fort Garland. Well appointed for us with convenient access to Great Sand Dunes National Park, Alamosa CO which does have a few more restaurants, and the Sand Dunes Recreation hot spring pool and greenhouse. Let me tell you, the pool was a highlight even considering how incredible sledding down the sand dunes was, and how beautiful the property and views where the cabin is set. If you're on the fence for some reason, just book it! You won't be disappointed. If you plan to sled the dunes, rent local and don't bring something in my from Walmart. Heed the rental CO's instructions, especially on waxing, for the best and fastest ride. We loved everything so much more than we even expected to and we'll be looking to come back in the fall and either stay here again or in one of this host's other places.

"Shavano" Our Cabin in the woods

TroyRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This beautiful cabin with stunning views perched just outside of Beulah Valley provided the perfect location for a respite and mountain getaway. The staggering views of the valley and Greenhorns were breathtaking. The layout of the deck and thoughtfulness of the placement to take advantage of the terrain, sunlight and views puts it to the front of our favored mountain destinations. Its location provides for tranquility and quiet while allowing for close proximity for hiking on and from the property as well as other desired destinations such as Pueblo Mountain Park, San Isabel Lake and Bishop's Castle. Let’s just say this place checks all the boxes.

Secluded Mountain Retreat work&school from here

KateRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Truly a remote off the grid cabin, but it had everything that we needed, and the host was extremely easy to communicate with. Was even better when we found the "short cut" to cut drive time off our trip to Wolf Creek. Host checked in and made sure we good throughout our stay. The stars were incredible in the evenings, and you don't realize how far out you are until you see Del Norte lit up at night from the cabin. Hope to be able to experience the cabin in the Spring or Fall for some local fishing.

Constellation Cabin, peaceful, relaxing, & modern

KellumRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Wonderful stay with my partner for my 28th birthday. The photos and descriptions were very accurate and Sara’s instructions made it very easy to find and get checked in. We completed the 1000 piece puzzle and got big into bird watching. There were so many different species and it was so peaceful listening to all of them without the noise of traffic or hustle and bustle of the city. The patio furniture was perfect for an afternoon nap and the umbrella worked flawlessly to allow for reading. All amenities provided worked to our level of expectation and we have no complaints about our stay. The water was hot and usable, just maybe don’t expect to take a 15-20min shower. The home was a short (beautiful) drive from town, and there were lots of cute shops and restaurants to visit. The ice cream shop had the best milkshakes and we found a bunch of trinkets to bring home. Just 10 minutes from town is a huge reservoir that we’d like to go back and explore more of! Thank you for the hospitality!

Booked James’ beautiful place for my boyfriend’s birthday weekend, and our stay was absolutely amazing. James and his wife were so sweet and down to earth. This place is exactly as described and maybe even better. While we were there we got to see a rainbow, the strawberry moon, and beautiful sunrises & sunsets. Couldn’t be more thankful for the opportunity to stay here & we will definitely be back!

The Sweetwater Ranch

Very happy with our stay. You could tell from the moment you walked in that the house had been cleaned very well. They left a s’mores welcome package at the entrance which was very thoughtful but we were unfortunately unable to use. The house was a bit warm at first but we found 1 large/3 small fans and once the air was moving we were very comfortable. The beds were clean and very comfortable to sleep in. The view of the mountains from the back patio is beautiful. They also had coffee/hot chocolate pods for the coffee machine. Would definitely stay there again!

The Lodge on St. Charles “6 mins to lake & fishing

MaxRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The cabin Shawn provided was a wonderful stay. It was clean, and felt like home. It had all the needed supplies in the kitchen to do some serious cooking, and a lively dining area to enjoy meals. WiFi is provided and of good quality. With natural woods and glorious nature all around- this place is a true authentic cabin. Shawn was a great host. While I was utilizing his cabin on Easter weekend it had snowed about 14” inches and I was worried my in-laws wouldn’t be able to make the trek to the cabin. He was ready to personally deliver a key to give me access to the garage and use of the shovels within. Thankfully, my truck got around great and he didn’t need to make the trek on my behalf, but his willingness to do so sent a very positive message. I would stay here again in a heartbeat (and already plan to)

Rip’s Hideaway

KatelinRating, 5 stars1 day ago
The cabin was plenty spacious, clean, and well stocked. We had numerous deer and turkeys in the yard. We spent our mornings and most of one day sitting on the porch listening to all the birds and crickets and watching/waiting for the bigger wildlife to come. The cabin is about a 20 min drive to Pueblo or 20 min to Lake Isabel (dirt, curvy road). Lake Isabel is great for fishing! There is a restaurant and small grocery store within a mile of the cabin. The check-in and check-out process were super eassy and communication was great.

Eagle Vista

Eagle Vista is an absolute gem. The pictures provided with the listing do their best to try and capture the grandeur of the setting, but it's even better than advertised. John is a great host and makes sure that you'll have everything you need to enjoy your stay. Beds are comfortable, showers are hot, and the woodstove keeps the place nice and cozy. We'll certainly be back if we're in the area again.
