It's only a 4 minute drive to the shops or a 2 minute walk down to the beautiful lake front. Because our property is not fenced it is not suitable for children under the age of 5 years old. This bnb had what we needed for our quick couple days in Te Anau. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking items and the living room has plenty of seating. While I’m not taking full stars off for these items be forewarned that the bathroom is TINY. The sink is very difficult to use because of its size and water gets everywhere. It wasn’t a big problem for 2 nights but be aware if you’re doing an extended stay. The other item of note was that the single washer/dryer unit was almost constantly in use. We ended up having to take time to just stand near the door to get our clothes in queue.

A spacious studio apartment is visible, featuring a king size bed and a modern bathroom. Large glass doors offer direct access to a deck with views of Lake Te Anau and mountains. A smart television and a compact kitchenette are also present.

We had a great stay. The units were as described and clean. We booked 2 adjoining properties with an interconnecting door and this worked well for the size of our group. We also received helpful and prompt communication with enquiries that we had.

We really enjoyed our stay here: it is walkable to a beautiful path along the water (across the street), was very clean and had everything we needed for a one night stay. The small fridge was apparently broken before we arrived and Justine went out of the way to procure a replacement before we arrived, which was appreciated. We would recommend this property!

We really enjoyed our stay at Craigs. It was just as advertised but better in person. The fire was great for the cold rainy days. Water pressure in the shower was good. We would definitely book again

It's a nice home, very cozy and comfortable. The food and supermarket was just a 5 mins drive away and there is also a beautiful lake right down the house. It was a very nice place to rest and relax especially when you are travelling to visit Milford Sound.

Great space for our big family, we have stayed at Ellen’s place for 1 night and leaving to Milford sound the next morning. Everything works well in the house and was very comfortable. Recommended to stay :)

We had a fantastic stay at the Hui Hui House! The home was exactly as described—super clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. We especially loved the warm and inviting living room, the well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed, and the spacious, practical foyer that made settling in and coming/going so easy. The location is perfect—tucked away in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood that feels peaceful and relaxing, yet just a short drive to town with tons of shops, and restaurants. Mark and Alicia are wonderful hosts—very friendly, incredibly communicative, and it's clear they put a lot of love and care into the Hui Hui House. We truly felt at home and would go back in a heartbeat! Highly recommended!
