Monthly Rentals in Mallacoota

Katie’s place was a lovely base for us to explore the surrounding area from. Clean, spacious and within a short walk of the main street in Mallacoota. Katie was also very responsive after we experienced a little drama in the pouring rain, which was much appreciated! An all round great experience.

First stay in Mallacoota, we got the summary from the co host Cate. Decided to go to "Lucys" as a Mallacoota icon, was everything as promised and expected. Semi organised chaos with a good feed. Beaches were expored and many trails were wandered. Great mountain bike trails scattered around the place. A birdwatchers paradise.

If you love having nature on your doorstep whilst feeling right at home, Bellbird Retreat is the perfect spot to stay in Mallacoota. Backing onto Shady Gully we saw a koala, over 30 varieties of birds (lyrebirds/honeyeaters/parrots/raptors) and at night had a visit from a long-nosed bandicoot. Annette and Chris were wonderful hosts with local recommendations and even baked some delicious bread during our stay! The well equipt spacious place was comfortable and cosy. We look forward to coming back again.

We did a road trip from Sydney to Melbourne and decided to make this our mid point for a few days, and I’m so glad we did. The view of the lake is beautiful, but all we did for an entire day was sit outside and watch the kangaroos. Sean’s place is lovely, great kitchen, super clean, amazing bathroom. We made a fire both nights and loved seeing all the stars we don’t see at home. The only issue we had was the bed was pretty firm, but that’s a personal preference. We’d love to stay again!
