Absolutely loved this place. Quiet location with beautiful views. Hosts were always quick to respond when we had questions and they gave us several helpful recommendations with everything from travel to restaurants. Make sure to check out the guide book Emily has as well. Tons of great information. So glad we stayed here. Would love to come back.

From start to finish our experience with Ann Marie and stay at Ataraxia Cottage was fantastic! Ann Marie was incredibly communicative and responsive from the start, providing (extremely helpful!) guidance on getting on the car ferry in St Thomas and where to meet her to get to the cottage. The cottage itself was a dream - literally, we slept like logs on a wonderful mattress every night after busy days hiking and on the beach. The cottage provided the perfect haven for our stay - the kitchen is equipped well for small meals, beach chairs and towels provided, and we barely needed the AC - the ceiling fans were enough! We would and will absolutely return to Ataraxia and Coral Bay - slightly off the beaten track and still so easy to reach all parts of St John. Tina gave me a warm welcome and explained everything in detail. The accommodation looked just like the photos, and the kitchen was small but perfect. The beach is amazing. It’s also within walking distance to The Baths. I would definitely come back if I visit again.

The place is beautiful. The views are breathtaking and the apartment is very well equipped. Not easy to find at night the first time around, but Sonny was extremely helpful to get us there and for everything else that we needed during our stay. It was great to have Sonny to help us with any questions we had. The access to the beach can be challenging for seniors or those with disabilities. It is great to have the Sugarcane restaurant nearby. The food is very good and the service extremely kind. Finally, I'd recommend to place in advance an order for groceries and booze with Riteway. In our case, it was delivered from Tortola before our arrival date and it made our stay much easier.
