Trunk Bay downstairs self-contained room

Hi! We paused this listing first because it was badly damaged by Hurricane Irma and then due to Covid 19, but we're back – repaired and upgraded! The outdoor shower that our guests loved is still there, only now it has hot water. There's also a new kitchen made of hardwood we were able to salvage after Irma. Great news! The beach is still there, too, and still a just ten minute walk away. Always popular for being simple and beautiful in a fantastic location, now it's the same, but even better!

This "apartment" was actually our one bedroom home before building an adjacent bedroom/bathroom and our new home above. The stairway leads to your private abode, where you can just enjoy the breeze, sit back and relax. The Villa was lovely with fantastic views and great to have your own pool. Well equipped with all the mod cons and great air con. Dawn was fantastic and gave very clear instructions and pro actively checked in with me prior my arrival. The location is 5 mins drive from the most beutiful bar and restaurant 1748, the restaurant next to that Tropic fusion was good as well with fantastic views as you are literally sitting on the beach or the swings at the bar. It was very much Tom cuise beach bar vibes in the film Cocktail but better. Your only 5 minutes away from the West End Port which takes you to Jost Van D, which i cant reccomend enough, just get the 10am ferry to make the most of the beach bar festivities. You will need to higher a car no matter where you are on the island so location is not a big deal, Nanny Cay is also a great place to go and if you land in beef island do a day in Virgin Gorda straight away. Only negative is the roads are unmade but u get used to it. 100% stay here

we hired a car. the coast road was closed so went over the ridge road in the dark. we would recommend try to use the coast road. the unit has a lovely view and is compact. we found the town nearby good for meals, long bay beach walkable and smugglers cove only a short drive and a beautiful place for an early swim. recommended location.

Our first time staying in BVI, great location, just 15 minutes away from airport and ferries to other islands. . We thought it was on one of the nicest beaches in the islands. Went in May, which may be out of season but It was like having our own private beach. Unit has great view of beach and was only steps away. Unit included comfortable beach chairs that we used every day. Access to the Wyndham pool and open air restaurant was a great perk.

Cozy Beachview Retreat Studio For Couple | Balcony

My husband and I just got back from Donald’s place and we could not have loved it more. It was the perfect location, felt right at home, and had the best vacation. We rented a car for the first few days to explore the island, get ferries to Jost and Virgin Gorda, and enjoyed a gorgeous sunset dinner at Bananakeet, one of Donald’s recommendations. Donald’s home has everything you could possibly need, with the most comfortable bed and the perfect balcony for sitting out to enjoy the view. We highly recommend it and can’t wait to come back! Thank you Donald and Mary Jo!

Hidden Gem Tucked Away

We loved our stay at this place. Waking up to the sound of roosters was priceless. The house is close to restaurants and the ferry terminal but secluded at the top of the hill so it feels private. Host was very responsive and AC was AMAZING! We would totally stay here again if we return.
