Vacation rentals with breakfast in Madera County

DON'T MISS THIS GEM! If you are going to be in the Yosemite/Oakhurst area, please consider staying at this property. Conan is a "superhost" for good reason. He couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. It was like having our own personal travel guide. He was so helpful with making our Yosemite experience great. You do stay in his home, which may make some people uncomfortable. Let me reassure you, Conan gives you complete privacy. You have your own bedroom and bathroom upstairs, which is completely stocked with anything you may need...refrigerator; water, drinks, snacks, coffee, tea, robes, jackets, walking sticks, emergency kits, etc. I was even able to do a load of wash while I was there! His house is up on a hill and had a beautiful sunset view. Not only does he provide everything you need, he makes a delicious breakfast each morning. It was the best Airbnb experience we ever had.

Our experience at this beautiful lakefront home exceeded every expectation! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the spacious, bright interiors and breathtaking views from almost every room. The living room was perfect for family gatherings, with comfortable seating and a large TV for movie nights. The master bedroom was a peaceful retreat—waking up to the lake view through the large windows was unforgettable. The game room with the pool table was a hit with both adults and kids, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a long day of outdoor fun. But the highlight? The stunning outdoor deck and balcony overlooking the water! We spent mornings with coffee taking in the serene view, and evenings enjoying the sunset with the gentle breeze. The home was spotless, well-stocked, and felt like a true escape. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway by the lake. We’re already looking forward to coming back!

Had a great stay in Sanger here. Location is nice and very quiet. You are connected to another unit of sorts but it didn't seem to be an issue during the stay. Inside everything was cleaned properly, AC/Heating worked well. Restroom/Shower was perfect and even had shower instructions on the glass. Good water pressure. Patio/Balcony and outside areas could use a little cleaning (especially the seating) but overall this was a great stay. I'd definitely come again if I was in the area, the horses and other animals were beautiful and could be seen through the balcony window throughout the day! :))

We loved our stay with Margaret and Charlie! One of my favorite Airbnb’s we have been in. They were both super helpful with recommendations for the area and making sure we have yosemite reservations and every morning we came downstairs to homemade bread and lovely conversations. We even left with a sourdough starter from their batch! 😊 The house is beautiful and just as pictures and the views are stunning! Amazing place if you don’t want to stay in Yosemite national park but close to it. Couldn’t recommend this place more. We will def be back! 😊

We stayed here while traveling Yosemite, ~2 hr drive away. The house itself was perfect, with a full kitchen for light cooking, private bedroom, bathroom, and all the amenities between. We shared the space with other travelers, who were all quiet and respectful. The hosts were proactive, flexible, and so kind! Definitely recommend this place, it's one of the best I've been to.

Our two-night stay at the Lavender Farmhouse was great. Our family (7) guests were all extremely comfortable during our short stay. We all agreed that we would recommend the Lavender Farmhouse to our family and friends and that we would return. Although we were busy during our stay with a wedding, we still managed to relax and enjoy the peaceful setting. Thank you to our hosts, Jeff and Ashley.

This is an excellent house. The house itself is beautiful and comfortable. We loved the gas fireplace on the outside balcony. The host was quick to respond, and also accommodated a delayed checkout time. The location is walkable to all the main restaurants in Shaver Lake, which has excellent food. It's a 10 minute drive to the Shaver Lake marina. There are tons and tons of amazing day hikes less than 30 minutes from this location.

Nikki’s place looks even better in person. She was very accommodating and I felt safe at her place. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Nikki!

This is our third stay at this property and we continue to love it. It is so comfortable and convenient to stay inside the park. The bed is very comfortable and the place has all of the amenities to cook and relax after a long day on the mountain. You save so much time, and energy being able to leave the valley and be ‘home’ in 30 minutes. Most gateway towns are 90 minutes at minimum. Highly recommend this place and we will be back next year.

Alexey was an amazing host! Very responsive and provided all the information necessary for a smooth check-in! There were snacks and wine when we came in and were even offered for restock! This is a beautiful little spot in the most magical place! Highly recommend! 10/10 experience!

All I can say is WOW. This place is amazing. You won’t regret staying here. Beautiful surroundings, secluded, cozy, warm and inviting apartment that just makes you feel at home, maybe even better than home. It has everything you need, so don’t worry. It’s very close to the valley too. I enjoyed every minute of it. Alexey is an amazing host that gives you great instructions, takes care of you personally and makes you feel at home. Yosemite is magical already, and having a great place to stay just makes the whole experience perfect!! Don’t settle for a run down hotel in the valley, stay here! We sure will be staying here again! This was an amazing place to stay. Incredibly comfortable after a long day of hiking. The bed and pillows were comfy. The water pressure and temperature for the shower was great! Super nice to have a kitchenette as well.

Susan and her boyfriend were amazing hosts. Very welcoming and accommodating. They helped with directions to Yosemite which was very very helpful. Made me feel right at home and very safe. Invited me to eat with friends, made me breakfast and packed me travel snacks. I left wishing I had more time there and as though I had made a new friend.

One of the best places in our trip in California. The house is so wonderful, integrated to the nature. Away from noise and agitation. Spacious room, beautiful landscape. We cooked every evening and the hosts were happy to help. The swimming pool and spa at sunset and under the stars were amazing. The pets were so friendly. I spent so time with a cat on my knees. Last but not least: the hosts. Mary Ann and Robert are full of kindness. Their warm welcome, the helpful tips, their need to share made us feel at home. We are so thankful. I did not mention the breakfast. After a quiet night, Rob serves you a so delicious breakfast so you're ready to hike in Yosemite the hole day. I definitely recommend 👌

I can't praise this place or Bette enough. Bette was very responsive as we were traveling into Yosemite, and made us a wonderful breakfast both days that we were staying with her. In fact, the first day we left for an early hike, and so Bette prepared us packed breakfasts in advance that carried us through much of the hike. Beyond the great hosting and accommodations, Bette also had a lot of great advice about hikes and wonderful stories to share. We had a wonderful weekend — highly recommend!!

Katharine and her husband gave us a very warm welcome, everything was very clean and well organized! She also gave us a great local wine as a welcome gift.

Anne was the best host! Responding timely and going above and beyond for our stay. The place is beautiful, clean and so peaceful. Worth the 30-45 minute drive into the park. We also appreciated the breakfast food/fruit included. Truly amazing property!

Beautiful room and property. Water pressure in the shower was really nice as was the packed breakfast before heading out early to Yosemite. If you want to cook - be sure to note you can use the outside barbecue but not the kitchen.

My husband and I stayed with here for a night as a stopping point between Sequoia NP and heading back to SF. Laurie and Stefanie’s hospitality is unmatched. They were accommodating, welcoming, and so kind. It really felt like we were visiting old friends even though we had just met. Their home is spotless and comfortable. Next time we are in Fresno, that is where we will plan to stay.
