Cabin vacation rentals in Madeline Island

The photos don’t do this location justice! The accommodations were top notch, and Jeanne makes you feel like family! Worth every penny! Will be back again to show more friends and family this amazing place!

We had a pleasant and relaxing stay while visiting the area to explore hiking trails and waterfalls. The campfire is stocked with wood and kindling and is private. The hot tub is a great way to wind down the day and look up at the stars. Despite the heat, the AC kept the cabin cool. We would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely loved Harvest Moon Cabin! How peaceful it was, just a comfy place to be. We saw lots of wildlife too! Bears, deer, it was so fun! The northern lights even came out for a while. I would love to come back someday! Thanks for a great stay.

We loved our stay at Birch Haven. It is a lovely home, well supplied, decorated and just perfect for our family vacation. We love to watch birds and we saw eagles, osprey and a lot of warblers that we don't often have the opportunity to see. The fireplace was perfect for cool evenings. The kitchen was well supplied and we had a wonderful time making our family dinners. This is a wonderful home and having it on Lake Superior made it a fabulous experience.

Hannah’s place was gorgeous, comfortable, functional and clean. The location was amazing for nature lovers although we were just as happy relaxing at the house! I definitely plan to return in the future because we had such a great experience.

We rented both sides and it worked great for two families. Two kitchens and two living rooms when you have 4 kids makes everything easier. The hot tub was a big hit with the kids and the walking distance to the hill was a bonus. We would definitely rent this place again!

Very cozy cabin directly across from Lake Superior. It was tastefully decorated with a “lake cabin” theme. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, & squeaky clean kitchen and bathroom.

This A-frame is to die for!! Seriously the cutest place. Very peaceful and cozy in the center of nature. You truly are secluded and have lots of privacy. We didn’t realize how far away we were from things but just a 20 minute drive to iron river did the trick if needed last minute things from a dollar general. You’re only an hour-ish away from Lake Superior — it was fun driving through the forest highways! We grilled out 2 nights at the cabin using the charcoal grill that worked perfectly! Host responded fast when we had questions. The bed was so comfy as well! The host has a captioned picture of the indoor fireplace in use but in the book at the cabin you’re instructed not to use it, that was pretty much the only bummer due to the weather being on the cooler side of 50s-60s but we cozied up outside with the fire pit, played games (lots of games and movies host offers) and made s’mores! It was the perfect little getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary! :)

Daniel's place was a true sanctuary. From the peaceful view from either of the decks, to the detail in the decor, this house has exactly what we needed. Daniel was extremely accommodating and friendly. He was helpful while also making sure we had plenty of privacy. I would recommend his airbnb to anyone looking for a little island getaway.

This trip was our second time staying at Blueberry Cottage - we love the cottage. It’s a great spot! We love the beach access in our backyard and the fully outfitted kitchen and grill. Lacey, the host, was super responsive to our texts. We took two hikes that were recommended in the host’s guidebook and they were both lovely - particularly recommend Frog Bay! Overall, I can’t recommend this place highly enough!

Perfect location for riding CAMBA trails and close to Cable! We’ll definitely be back. There’s a bike shop right there in case you need anything, and the Telemark and Birkie finish are just around the corner.

Tia is terrific. we've stayed at this location the past four years now, and anytime we have a question or need something, Tia answers within minutes. The cottage is cozy and has everything you need.

This cabin was a perfect location between visiting Pattison/Amicon State Parks and the Bayfield area. The cabin was clean and extremely cozy. And it was pet friendly to be able to bring our lab with exploring all this area has to offer!

We had a wonderful family vacation! From the beautiful cabin, private location in the middle of a forest, quick responses from the hosts, enjoyed pontooning on Lake Owen while catching numerous walleye, small/large mouth bass, and northern pike, to the very clean cabin… we felt right at home and can’t wait to go back! Thank you Jeffrey and Robert for sharing your amazing home with us!

Love! We have shared some of the best life experiences here from our engagement to our baby reveal! This is like our second home and the owners are WONDERFUL! The lodge, food and drinks are all awesome. Great service and will plan to be back again soon!

We loved our stay so much! Even with 2 kids, it felt like enough space for us all and there were lots of things for everyone to do. We walked to the Beaver dam, took saunas, had a bonfire and the kids loved the bucket shower! We will definitely stay again!

We had such a great stay here! The area was beautiful, especially with all the fall colors, and it was very fun to climb the firetower a few times during our stay. Such a unique and authentic experience since the tower was left as it was when it was staffed. It was really nice that the place is dog-friendly, as our dog really enjoyed walking around the area. The cabin itself was also very clean and cozy, and there was some unique reading material (local to the area) and a fun firetower game inside. The host was also extremely proactive and responsive with reaching out. We had no issues getting into the cabin/tower thanks to his instructions, and it was clear he wanted to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be back again!

This place is absolutely beautiful. Our family made the best memories. Would be great anytime of the year.

Kathleen and Ray’s place was a lovely and peaceful place for our family to stay during an otherwise hectic Birkie weekend. The communication with the hosts was excellent and the cabin was exactly as pictured and very clean. We would love to return some time!
