Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Machico

The place was beautiful in a very quiet location with stunning views. Everything was clean and furnished with love so that you can only feel comfortable from the first moment. It had everything you need, we also loved the many kitchen utensils and the grill, which we used every day. The terrace with whirlpool, lounge, loungers and table were the highlight. We spent a lot of time in the accommodation because we felt so comfortable. The beach Calheta is 5 minutes by car easy to reach and highly recommended. We also loved the private parking. Bruno and Maria are very accommodating and also asked how we are doing and if we need anything. The location was perfect for us, very quiet, lots of privacy and yet we can get everywhere by car. It has been sometime since I stayed in a real home-y and cosy house like Betty's. Our whole group (two families with small children ) was very pleasantly surprised by this beautifully decorated home. There were many essentials as well as some offerings by the host readily available. The location(although not very close to the historic center) is fantastic as it is possible to walk to some famous rock pools and a beach, as well as many restaurants, a mall and a supermarket. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Manny and his son met us in the evening to welcome us to the apartment and run through the equipment and everything that we might need over our stay. The apartment was a ' breath of fresh air'...quiet and cool with the fantastic balcony....but less than 2 minutes to all the places of interest shops bars etc .. Ir was my first Airbnb abroad and others will have a lot to live up to! Manny checked in...but gave us privacy and the chance to unwind...canm0t recommended it too highly!

Miguel’s place was perfect! The apartment looks exactly like the photos. It was clean and well equipped. The view is unbeatable, and the outdoor space was such a nice addition. Miguel is incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful. I highly recommend staying at his place!

Review from 2 Moms with their 2 18 year old daughters. So 4 guests in total. Everything was just fantastic. We loved our stay. Valdemar was very accommodating as we had to make a few changes last minute here and there. His father met my friend to check in and he was lovely. Brought lots of potatoes and avocados from his garden( yummy)!!! Also another tray of goodies for us as well left on the table. Apartment is very roomy, love the full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. Bakery downstairs at entrance to apartment was amazing!!!! Lots of wonderful recommendations from Valdemar in each city for restaurants and things to do. Wanted to stay longer!!! Valdemar was also very accommodating with our later check out. Only small issue I had was the bed was a little hard for me personally but I still had a great stay and slept good. Felt that all 3 hosts were available to us to ask any questions and help with whatever they could. Would 100% recommend and stay again.

Absolutely stunning stay! The views were like something out of a postcard—so picturesque, we almost didn’t want to leave. The house was spotless, and every detail was thought of: towels, blankets, shampoo, even spare wood for the outdoor barbecue. There’s AC in every room (though we didn’t need it), plus a washer, dryer, and plenty of supplies like soap and dishwasher pods. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive at all hours. The garage was a bonus, especially in the rainy weather, giving us extra comfort. The area itself is very peaceful and quiet, yet only a short 7-8 minute drive to cafes, restaurants, and shops. If I ever return to Madeira, this is where I’ll stay—no question.

Great host, very quick to respond. Great accommodation, very clean and tidy and so nice to have the pool. Very hilly, nice walk down into town but would recommend getting an uber or bolt back to the apartment. It’s only 5 minutes and €5 for the trip.

A very peaceful and private place to stay in Sao Vicente. Being spacious and having great views makes it a perfect place to rest between activities. Beds are comfortable and closets are fantastic. There was port, fruit, and cake waiting for us, which was a welcoming touch. It is about a 35 min drive to Funchal and closer to an hour to get to and from the airport. Less than hr to elsewhere on the island. Notes: 1) Access: To get to the restaurants and shops is a steep climb with stairs or road, so be prepared to drive down or get some exercise :) 2) Parking and layout: The gated 2-car port is on the roof of the home and is at the end of the street where there is viewpoint parking. It may be a little tight getting in and out if there are cars. You go down 1 floor to get to the bedrooms and one more floor to get to the living room/kitchen and pool. 3) Shopping: There is a grocery with long hours down at the shoreline (10 min walk). The gift shop in the same strip is very goo

A lovely property with a beautiful view in a quiet and peaceful part of the island. Jose was very kind and super accommodating to a last minute change we required. We had a wonderful time!

Pedro is the best thing about this place the man is a legend really kind and helpful goes over and beyond. The place is so nice pool is amazing with fantastic views. I can not fault the place. Over three floors we had 12 people in it and didn’t feel cramped. Book this place you will not regret it

We really enjoyed the accommodation! (family of 6 people) This one is well located, a beautiful view, very peaceful and private place. It is very well equipped, heated pool (for €30/day), barbecue available, very spacious and clean. Which makes it a great value. We recommend it!

We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The location is ideal for discovering the island. We drove to Porto Moniz, Fanal but also the entire east coast. A supermarket (Continental) for shopping is also only 10 minutes away. The hot water actually runs out at some point, but the two of us were able to take a quick shower every day. The dishwasher is a nice plus. This way you can make even better use of your time on the island. There were also cookies and fresh fruit as a courtesy! Enrique was always available and very helpful. The accommodation convinces with the fantastic view - at breakfast and dinner we enjoyed the view very much! Unfortunately, the nearby main road is louder than expected. The accommodation is equipped with everything you need, especially the washing machine we have very much enjoyed using during our longer stay, in the kitchen you can also cook a little more extensively. The apartment is nicely furnished, but in some places it is a bit outdated. The apartment is located outside the city, you should definitely have a rental car, but you can reach some great hiking starting points by car a little faster.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the absolutely stunning apartment. It was incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beautiful location was a real highlight, boasting amazing sea views from the balcony that we enjoyed every single day. The lovely swimming pools on site were a fantastic bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip. Our hosts, Mariana and Ricardo, were so welcoming and helpful, always on hand to answer any questions and offer local tips. The great wifi was a practical plus, and we loved that the apartment was within walking distance to the main shops, making everything so convenient. We loved our week at Nuno's place! The apartment was lovely and bright, we loved to soak in the sun on the terrace. Nuno is very caring host :) Madeira's air is wonderful, and with the terrace door open, the apartment was always filled with fresh air- so good to sleep like that. The terrace is not too windy as well! Just the perfect breeze blowing by. Definitely would recommend the apartment!

The apartment was perfect for our family, a great base to explore the island. Well equipped for a family though we only used for breakfast, eating out in the many local restaurants . The bakery downstairs is fabulous , serving breakfast, lunch and snacks..

We stayed for a week with 4 in a very nice apartment. We enjoyed the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Ideal for 2 couples. We highly recommend this clean and tastefully decorated accommodation. We enjoyed the individuality of the apartment and the outdoor space . It is up a hill but all good exercise ! The bus stop for the ride to Monte Palace Gardens is close by and makes a lovely day out . Carlos is welcoming and the apartment is lovely and clean .

Flawless apartment, very clean and as described. The terrace is simply magnificent, with a magnificent view. Everything is well furnished, you immediately feel comfortable. We are delighted with our stay – a real pleasure from start to finish!
