Die Unterkunft war wunderschön an einer sehr ruhigen Lage mit einer atemberaubenden Aussicht. Es war alles sauber und mit Liebe eingerichtet damit man sich ab dem ersten Moment nur wohlfühlen kann. Es hatte alles was man braucht, auch super fanden wir die vielen Küchenuntensilien und der Grill, den wir jeden Tag benutzten. Die Terrasse mit Whirpool,Lounge,Liegen und Tisch waren das Highlight. Wir verbrachten viel Zeit in der Unterkunft, weil wir uns so wohl gefühlt haben. Der Strand Calheta ist 5min mitem Auto einfach zu erreichen und sehr empfehlenswert. Auch fanden wir den Privatparkplatz super. Bruno und Maria sind sehr zuvorkommend und fragten auch nach wie es uns geht und ob wir etwas brauchen. Die Lage war für uns perfekt, sehr ruhig, viel privatsphäre und doch gelangen wir mitem Auto überall hin. Vielen herzlichen Dank an Bruno und Maria. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. It has been sometime since I stayed in a real home-y and cosy house like Betty's. Our whole group (two families with small children ) was very pleasantly surprised by this beautifully decorated home. There were many essentials as well as some offerings by the host readily available. The location(although not very close to the historic center) is fantastic as it is possible to walk to some famous rock pools and a beach, as well as many restaurants, a mall and a supermarket. Would recommend to anyone in a heartbeat.

Wir haben uns bei Manny wirklich super wohlgefühlt! Die Wohnung war sauber, ordentlich und sehr zentral gelegen – ideal, um Funchal zu erkunden. Die Kommunikation mit Manny war hervorragend, er war immer erreichbar, hat regelmäßig nachgefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist oder ob wir etwas brauchen. Wirklich top – so wünscht man sich einen Gastgeber! Wenn wir wieder nach Madeira kommen, würden wir auf jeden Fall gerne wieder hier wohnen. Невероятно красивая квартира. В живую лучше чем на фото. Очень быстрое и комфортное заселение. Качественные материалы, хорошая мебель и идеальная чистота. Прекрасный вид из балкона и из квартира на бассейн и океан. Всё работает. Высший класс жилья. Самый лучший район Фуншала с дорогими отелями в округе. Рядом торговый центр. До пляжа 5 минут пешком. До центра Фуншала 10-15 минут на машине.

Super Lage, man ist vom Flughafen schnell an der Unterkunft. Da die Insel nicht groß ist kann alles innerhalb von 1 1/2 Stunden mit dem Auto erreicht werden. Die Kommunikation mit Guido und seiner Frau war super. Wir konnten früh einchecken, Guido hat uns herum gezeigt und wann immer wir Wünsche oder Probleme hatten hat Guido sofort geantwortet und uns geholfen. Wir haben uns morgens auf die Pastel de Nata gefreut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einzige Punkte die nicht perfekt waren: Wir fanden das Bett eher unbequem und durch die Nähe zur Straße war es Nachts lauter als wir es gewohnt sind. Wir würde das nächste mal auf Madeira wieder hier her kommen.

Miguel’s place was perfect! The apartment looks exactly like the photos. It was clean and well equipped. The view is unbeatable, and the outdoor space was such a nice addition. Miguel is incredibly friendly, responsive and helpful. I highly recommend staying at his place!

Review from 2 Moms with their 2 18 year old daughters. So 4 guests in total. Everything was just fantastic. We loved our stay. Valdemar was very accommodating as we had to make a few changes last minute here and there. His father met my friend to check in and he was lovely. Brought lots of potatoes and avocados from his garden( yummy)!!! Also another tray of goodies for us as well left on the table. Apartment is very roomy, love the full kitchen, 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. Bakery downstairs at entrance to apartment was amazing!!!! Lots of wonderful recommendations from Valdemar in each city for restaurants and things to do. Wanted to stay longer!!! Valdemar was also very accommodating with our later check out. Only small issue I had was the bed was a little hard for me personally but I still had a great stay and slept good. Felt that all 3 hosts were available to us to ask any questions and help with whatever they could. Would 100% recommend and stay again.

Absolutely stunning stay! The views were like something out of a postcard—so picturesque, we almost didn’t want to leave. The house was spotless, and every detail was thought of: towels, blankets, shampoo, even spare wood for the outdoor barbecue. There’s AC in every room (though we didn’t need it), plus a washer, dryer, and plenty of supplies like soap and dishwasher pods. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive at all hours. The garage was a bonus, especially in the rainy weather, giving us extra comfort. The area itself is very peaceful and quiet, yet only a short 7-8 minute drive to cafes, restaurants, and shops. If I ever return to Madeira, this is where I’ll stay—no question.

Great host, very quick to respond. Great accommodation, very clean and tidy and so nice to have the pool. Very hilly, nice walk down into town but would recommend getting an uber or bolt back to the apartment. It’s only 5 minutes and €5 for the trip.

A very peaceful and private place to stay in Sao Vicente. Being spacious and having great views makes it a perfect place to rest between activities. Beds are comfortable and closets are fantastic. There was port, fruit, and cake waiting for us, which was a welcoming touch. It is about a 35 min drive to Funchal and closer to an hour to get to and from the airport. Less than hr to elsewhere on the island. Notes: 1) Access: To get to the restaurants and shops is a steep climb with stairs or road, so be prepared to drive down or get some exercise :) 2) Parking and layout: The gated 2-car port is on the roof of the home and is at the end of the street where there is viewpoint parking. It may be a little tight getting in and out if there are cars. You go down 1 floor to get to the bedrooms and one more floor to get to the living room/kitchen and pool. 3) Shopping: There is a grocery with long hours down at the shoreline (10 min walk). The gift shop in the same strip is very goo

A lovely property with a beautiful view in a quiet and peaceful part of the island. Jose was very kind and super accommodating to a last minute change we required. We had a wonderful time!

Pedro is the best thing about this place the man is a legend really kind and helpful goes over and beyond. The place is so nice pool is amazing with fantastic views. I can not fault the place. Over three floors we had 12 people in it and didn’t feel cramped. Book this place you will not regret it

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le logement ! (famille de 6 personnes) Celui-ci est bien situé, une belle vue, endroit très paisible et privé. Il est très bien équipé, piscine chauffée (pour 30€/J), barbecue disponible, très spacieux et propre. Ce qui en fait un très bon rapport qualité-prix. On recommande !

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Der Standort ist ideal um die Insel zu entdecken. Wir sind bis Porto Moniz, Fanal aber auch die gesamte Ostküste gefahren. Ein Supermarkt (Continental) zum Einkaufen ist auch nur 10min entfernt. Das warme Wasser geht tatsächlich irgendwann leer, jedoch konnten wir zu zweit mit schnellem duschen einwandfrei jeden Tag gehen. Der Geschirrspüler ist ein nettes Plus. So kann man die Zeit auf der Insel noch besser ausnutzen. Außerdem gab es Kekse und frisches Obst als Aufmerksamkeit! Enrique war immer erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank für den Aufenthalt.

Die Unterkunft überzeugt mit der traumhaften Aussicht- beim Frühstück und Abendessen haben wir die Aussicht sehr genossen! Leider ist die nahe gelegene Hauptstraße lauter als erwartet. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgestattet, besonders die Waschmaschine haben wir sehr gerne bei unserem längeren Aufenthalt genutzt, in der Küche lässt es sich auch etwas ausgiebiger kochen. Die Wohnung ist ansprechend eingerichtet, an manchen Stellen jedoch schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Wohnung liegt außerhalb der Stadt, man sollte auf jeden Fall einen Mietwagen haben, jedoch erreicht man somit einige tolle Wanderungausgangspunkte mit dem Auto etwas zügiger.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the absolutely stunning apartment. It was incredibly well-equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beautiful location was a real highlight, boasting amazing sea views from the balcony that we enjoyed every single day. The lovely swimming pools on site were a fantastic bonus, perfect for a refreshing dip. Our hosts, Mariana and Ricardo, were so welcoming and helpful, always on hand to answer any questions and offer local tips. The great wifi was a practical plus, and we loved that the apartment was within walking distance to the main shops, making everything so convenient. We loved our week at Nuno's place! The apartment was lovely and bright, we loved to soak in the sun on the terrace. Nuno is very caring host :) Madeira's air is wonderful, and with the terrace door open, the apartment was always filled with fresh air- so good to sleep like that. The terrace is not too windy as well! Just the perfect breeze blowing by. Definitely would recommend the apartment!

The apartment was perfect for our family, a great base to explore the island. Well equipped for a family though we only used for breakfast, eating out in the many local restaurants . The bakery downstairs is fabulous , serving breakfast, lunch and snacks..

Nous avons séjourné une semaine à 4 dans un appartement très agréable. Nous avons apprécié les 2 chambres et les 2 salles de bain. Idéal pour 2 couples. Verblijf van 12 dagen. Prachtig appartement met terras op de 6e verdieping, uitzicht op zee. Lift aanwezig. De inrichting van het appartement is zeer smaakvol! Slechts 15 minuten lopen naar het oude centrum en de boulevard. Host Carlos is zeer vriendelijk, behulpzaam en reageert snel. Goede supermarkt met vriendelijke mensen om de hoek, evenals 'snackbar' voor een koffie, drankje met wat lekkers. Jardim Santa Luzia op 5 minuten lopen. Mooi park met prachtige bomen en een 'snackbar'. Je voelt je hier meteen thuis en bij terugkeer naar Madeira zullen we dan ook zeker weer voor dit appartement van Carlos kiezen. Een echte aanrader! Appartement impeccable, très propre et conforme à la description. La terrasse est tout simplement grandiose, avec une vue magnifique. Tout est bien aménagé, on s’y sent tout de suite à l’aise. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour – un vrai plaisir du début à la fin!
