House vacation rentals in Machico

We felt very relaxed and comfortable at Antonio’s lovely house and the garden and views were impressive. We appreciated the interesting features in the garden with its nature feel and enjoyed the pool and sauna which we thought was a real asset for the place. The house is interesting and cared about and Antionio was an excellent and helpful host. We were glad of the car we hired to access shops, restaurants, beach and walking areas as without one would be difficult but it suited us really well as 4 adults who wanted a base from which to explore Madeira.

Pedro war sehr hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar. Er gab uns auch einige gute Tipps. Das einzige was wir ein bisschen kritisieren müssen, ist die Möblierung. Manche Möbelstücke sind schon in die Jahre gekommen. Diese gehören unserer Meinung nach mal ausgetauscht.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le logement ! (famille de 6 personnes) Celui-ci est bien situé, une belle vue, endroit très paisible et privé. Il est très bien équipé, piscine chauffée (pour 30€/J), barbecue disponible, très spacieux et propre. Ce qui en fait un très bon rapport qualité-prix. On recommande !

We had a lovely stay in a beautiful, pristine, peaceful home. Well equipped kitchen. Maria has thought of everything. The outside space was really great, plenty of space to enjoy the pool along with the outside kitchen BBQ. We walked to the botanical gardens which was 10 minutes away. Two small supermarkets and bakery 3 minutes walk from the house. We walked in Funchal several times and caught a taxi home. Lovely climate and beautiful surroundings.

Einen besseren Host zu finden ist wirklich schwer. Das AirBnB ist super sauber und perfekt ausgestattet. Bei sämtlichen Fragen stand uns Ana immer zur Seite. Außerdem hat sie einen wirklich tollen Travelguide geschrieben. Wenn wir wieder nach Madeira fliegen würden, würden wir ohne zu zögern ein AirBnB von ihr nehmen.

Le logement était magnifique. Nous avons adoré la décoration et les grandes portes qui apportaient de la luminosité avec une vue sur la belle cours avec la piscine. Nous avons été super bien accueilli par un très bon goûté. Quelle belle attention! Susana nous a également faits plusieurs recommandations de restaurants et la communication était excellente. Il fallait conduire 8 min pour nous rendre au centre-ville. On retrouvait tous les essentiels pour bien cuisiner. Le logement était propre, mais je ne peux passer sous silence la douche. On retrouvait du moisi et personnellement, malgré le parfum qui avait été ajouté, je trouvais que l’odeur d’humidité et de moisi était désagréable. Tout le reste était impeccable!

Très bon séjour. Belle vila bien équipé. Hôte accueillant et réactif. Nous recommandons !

Heel compleet huis, alles wat je nodig hebt is er. Bij aankomst lag er wat lekkers voor ons klaar om de eerste ochtend mee door te komen, erg aardig 😊 en Madeira is prachtig!

Spędziliśmy tydzień w apartamencie i jesteśmy bardzo zadowoleni z pobytu. Mieszkanie było czyste, przestronne, schludne i bardzo ładnie urządzone – wszystko wygląda dokładnie tak, jak na zdjęciach. Apartament wyposażony we wszystko, co potrzebne do komfortowego wypoczynku: wygodne łóżka, dobrze zaopatrzona kuchnia, szybkie Wi-Fi i przytulna przestrzeń do relaksu. Dodatkowym atutem był prywatny garaż oraz mały ogródek – idealne miejsce na poranną kawę lub wieczorny odpoczynek na świeżym powietrzu. Dużym plusem była również lokalizacja – cicha okolica, a jednocześnie blisko do sklepu. Gospodarz bardzo pomocny i kontaktowy, szybko odpowiadał na wszelkie pytania. To idealne miejsce na spokojny wypoczynek – chętnie wrócimy przy kolejnej okazji i polecamy każdemu, kto szuka komfortowego, dobrze wyposażonego i przytulnego noclegu.

Very nice and cozy place, we really loved the amazing view ! The house itself was very charming, and we did not have any trouble for parking the car. Although it is close to the airport, the sound of the planes did not bother us at all. Finally, the island is pretty small so almost everything is accessible by car within an hour or two so totally worth it !

This chalet is absolutely beautiful! It was exactly as pictured - if not more lovely in person. It was peaceful, clean, and so cozy! We enjoyed making a fire in the fire place when it was cold and rainy. Ana was so responsive and let us check in early and was helpful giving directions and gave great recommendations for places to eat. Hot shower, comfortable bed, washing machine, full kitchen - everything you need! There are, however, some pros and cons with the location to consider. This is a remote property in a small village - which is what makes it so pretty, unique and peaceful. It’s also off the main road on the way toward Pico de Areiro which is great if you’re spending time in this location hiking, canyoning, etc. However, keep in mind it’s very remote. I really did not like driving back there late at night and was a little uneasy sleeping there at night because it felt so remote - but if that doesn’t bother you, I couldn’t recommend this place enough! We would stay again!

Such an amazing space! Our family highly enjoyed our stay. The home is more beautiful than the pictures. The pool was lovely and the location was great for hiking as well as trips to Funchal. We would love to come back again!

We absolutely LOVED our stay here! The house is extremely clean and matches the pictures perfectly. We even had freshly stocked groceries when we arrived which was a huge plus after 3 long flights. This location is so close to many delicious restaurants and the beach. We absolutely loved the pool and sun bed. 10/10 recommend!!! We already want to plan another trip back 🩷 THANK YOU!

Très bel appartement, grand, vraiment très propre et bien équipé. La cuisine a des condiments de base (huile, vinaigre, café, épices, …) parfait pour les voyageurs. Belle galerie avec petit divan et tables-chaises avec une vue sur la mer et la pointe de Saõ Lourenço. Literie et matelas des lits très confortables. L’appartement loué occupe tout de 2e étage de l’immeuble, on se sent chez nous et nous n’entendons pas les occupants du bas. Accès facile à l’autoroute (2min) et à l’aéroport (5 min) et très bien situé pour visiter la moitié Est de l’île incluant Funchal. Piste d’atterrissage de l’Aéroport visible de l’appartement mais le bruit n’est pas dérangeant et c’est plutôt intéressant de voir les avions décoller ! Je recommande sans hésiter et la communication avec Anton était facile et rapide. Excellente expérience pour nous! Merci Anton!

Absolutely loved our stay here for the week! We loved the ability to walk into town and grab food at any time. We found a number of great restaurants! We also loved being within the energy of the town of Camara De Lobos. It was very warm, welcoming, and vibrant. We loved the home and felt it was clean, beautiful, and the perfect opportunity to slow down life and enjoy the sound of the ocean. The breeze was able to keep us cool (mid February visit for us), the sound of the ocean helped us drift off peacefully, and we enjoyed the opportunity to lounge in the sun on the many decks available. Parking was simple and free right around the house. We had very prompt communication and felt very supported. Overall the location was a great spot to adventure to the rest of the island. If we ever return to Madeira this is where we will be staying!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this lovely home. The view and atmosphere are incredible. We were very comfortable here, and the welcome basket was a very pleasant surprise, perfect for an evening meal. We highly recommend this home if privacy and relaxation is what you are looking for after a long day of hiking and exploring!

The stay at Diamantino’s was great. The location was perfect, close to hiking, around 7 minutes from the airport, and very good restaurants within walking distance. The bnb was nice, clean and the host was very responsive. Thank you for a great stay!

The villa was beautiful - stunning location - and perfectly furnished. Lovely walk to Ponta do Sol village but the walk back is not for the faint hearted - Bolt is available :-) Whilst there were a few teething issues on arrival, Rita was super responsive and helpful in sorting any problems and our stay was great. It was a lovely stay in a stunning villa with amazing views and we would love to come back.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Olesea. Alles hat zur Beschreibung der Unterkunft gepasst. Die untere Ebene war, wie beschrieben eher niedrig was die Deckenhöhe anging, große Leute sollten das beachten. Von Gaula aus waren wir sehr gut angebunden zu Zielen im Osten und Norden der Insel.

If you’re looking for a quiet coastal cottage in Madeira this place is perfect. The view is beautiful with restaurants right around the corner. You’re steps away from the beach and beautiful hiking trails. The house is small but well kept and was very comfortable for two guests

The place was nice, clean with good parking. Maria was very responsive and helpful. Only complaint -- room doors can create noise when closed with open windows due to not great fit, but it easily solvable with some socks

Scott’s place is a great place, not only because the back porch gave an EXCELLENT view, but there was a bus stop right outside the gate! Waking up and coming back to the gorgeous ocean view made our stay worth every penny!

Très bel endroit, la tête dans la verdure et le calme. Nous avons passé un moment très agréable. Santana est une petite ville sympa à visiter. Pas d'hésitation pour nous pour y revenir.

Wir waren zu Gast bei Francisco in der Villa Bella mit Pool und es war einfach traumhaft! Die Unterkunft war wunderschön, sehr gepflegt und luxuriös ausgestattet. Unsere Erwartungen wurden in jeder Hinsicht übertroffen. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen, und die Sauberkeit der Villa war wirklich beeindruckend. Die Kommunikation mit Francisco war jederzeit freundlich, schnell und hilfsbereit. Wenn wir wieder nach Madeira reisen, würden wir ohne zu zögern erneut bei Francisco buchen. Ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt, der den Preis absolut wert ist. Vielen Dank für alles!
