Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lyme Regis

We had a lovely week at Alpine Grove touring park. Clear communication from Keith. The space was very clean and had all facilities needed for our stay. Our toddler also really enjoyed the swimming pool! Would definitely stay again. Loved it

This has to be the best ever beachfront apartment we have stayed in. Spectacular views, spacious balcony, superbly equipped and everything worked without any hassle. The Leisure Club is an added bonus for me - brilliant pool, fitness equipment and the jacuzzi plus the outdoor terrace and restaurant with great meals, especially the (takeaway available too) fish and chips. The purpose of this trip was a holiday for my 94 year old Mother - above all the apartment was very safe/secure, accessible, the few steps to the 1st floor are manageable and the lift means getting into the apartment is easy. Totally recommend this apartment!

We spent the half term break at Little Burston with our two young children, we had a wonderful time. The accommodation was everything we hoped from the previous brilliant reviews and more. A clean, bright and large space. Well equipped with everything you could want (games, DVD’s, kitchen utensils). A tranquil and peaceful setting not far away from Dulverton and within striking distance of lots of activities. The hot tub kept the adults happy and the kids loved the garden, trampoline and games of football. Carol was a great host, instructions left at the property were clear and easy. Walking recommendations all great. Goats and chickens out of the kitchen window was a highlight for the kids. Up there with the best Airbnb’s we’ve been to in the UK. We would not hesitate to return, if visiting North Devon again and couldn’t recommend this place highly enough.

Fantastic weekend with the family to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversay. The house had everything we needed and kept the children entertained. Cath was really lovely and even baked us a cake for our stay which was very thoughtful. The view from the property was a highlight and we would definitely stay again.

We stayed here for a family holiday, 4 adults and 6 children aged 11-15 and we all had a lovely time. There is lots to do at Mistletoe Farm; the pool and hot tub were great, the games room/ garden kitchen area was perfect for us to all get together to eat, play darts or do karaoke and the escape room was a big hit with the kids. We also enjoyed an evening around the fire pit toasting marshmallows. It’s set in beautiful surroundings and we enjoyed walks to the local pub for dinner and also to the reservoir. Lyme Regis was close enough for a day out too. The accommodation was clean and tidy and well equipped and the teenagers enjoyed having a glamping pod to themselves for a bit of independence. Paul and Sandra were excellent hosts, super friendly, welcoming and helpful, they leave you to enjoy your holiday but somehow always manage to be there when you need them! Highly recommend.

Serendipity is a lovely house with stunning views. Marks has designed and refurbished his house beautifully and very much with his guests in mind. The downstairs is spacious with a very large table so we as a party of nine could sit all together or in separate groups inside and outside. Well done to Mark. He is a very considerate and welcoming host.

The Airbnb was amazing and reached all expectations. The setting is wonderful, so peaceful and relaxing. The property itself is very clean and well laid out, providing everything needed. The touches of lovely flowers from the gardens, milk and biscuits and the toiletries in the bathroom were thoughtful and very much appreciated. It was fun meeting the alpacas and learning about them and being greeted by Maurice and Stanley, the family dogs when we arrived back each day. Charlotte and Joni were fabulous hosts, welcoming and helpful. They were available when we needed them but gave us privacy for our stay. I would highly recommend the property.

This was a great location for our stay near Sidmouth where we had friends visiting over the weekend. Sidbury is a charming English village just outside Sidmouth, with a lot of traditional thatched cottages. The property has a lovely little garden where we sat and enjoyed the scenery and listened to the stream running past. It was the perfect place for a long weekend getaway to rest and recuperate.

We had a lovely family holiday at Haye Farm. The cottage is beautiful and exactly as shown in the photos. The location is absolutely beautiful and a great base for exploring the local area. We had a wonderful stay and our kids loved exploring the farm and meting the animals!

We had a great stay. Caroline was very friendly and communicative. The place has beautiful views of the sea and is very spacious. I would definitely recommend it.

Where to begin? A small piece of paradise I think comes close! Eddie and Becks were super hosts, warm, welcoming and full of great advice and recommendations. The farm is in an idyllic location, yet only a couple of miles from the sea. Peaceful, quiet and the best place to unwind and explore. The cricket pavilion is a charming , rustic and well equipped bolthole for a couple or small family to enjoy. Dennis the Cockerpoo had the time of his life exploring and playing with his toys in the garden. The local pubs are great and the local beaches are excellent. We had a special dinner in the Ilchester Arms in neighbouring Symondsbury and hours of countryside walks in the hills surrounding. The local farm shop is an absolute gem of a place. The best of Dorset is a short drive in the car away. There is so much more I could add and we are definitely looking to return there for more Dorset heaven. The cottage and surroundings were beautiful and sitting in the pretty garden with a book was so relaxing as it’s such a peaceful location. Our little miniature dachshund loved exploring the garden too and watching the sheep and chickens! The cottage is really comfortable and perfectly located for exploring Lyme Regis and Charmouth which are both really close. We loved our time here

Wonderful reception on arrival. Great location only 15 min walk down to sea front. Great activities for our 8 yr old twin boys. But the icing on the cake is the huge swim spa which we all enjoyed after our walks. Lovely and relaxing just what you need. Host was very helpful and responded to all our questions promptly. Would recommend highly to any family with kids or two couples looking for a relaxing break away.

We had a lovely stay at the Condo. It had everything we needed, plus really homely touches. Access to the indoor pool was really great especially for a rainy day with our 1 year old. Jacqueline and Tony were very welcoming. Great location and a peaceful get away. We were sad to leave.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. The place is exactly as described, a very cosy little cottage with everything you need. Everywhere was clean and tidy apart from general dust you’d expected, with a lovely little basket of treats left for us on arrival. Check in was self done, flexible, and smooth, same with leaving. Lovely little village, a couple of local pubs within walking distance, lovely cafe just next door along with some very friendly ducks, chickens, lambs, goats and the occasional cat. Would absolutely stay here again and 100% recommend if you’re looking for a cosy and quiet get away. During our stay we explored Cheddar, Glastonbury and Frome, all within an hours drive and lots of lovely cafes and independent shops.

Our second visit to this super property. Spotlessly clean throughout with everything you could need for your time away. The weather was great whilst we were staying so we were able to make good use of the decking overlooking Swanage Bay. Judith was very quick to respond when we had a question and she also recommended plenty of places for us to visit. Milk tea coffee and Dorset biscuits were left for us when we arrived which was a welcome treat when we arrived. Many thanks Judith and we will look forward to returning again next year.

Had a great weekend over Easter at Jan’s place - a beautiful garden - the kids loved the trampoline and pool - we cooked BBQ outside our Accomodation kin the peaceful garden - had great fish and chips and a cider in Watchet - the nearest harbour town (10 min drive) - we also visited from the house; quantock hills (15 min drive) killer beach (15 min drive) minehead (40 mins) and linmouth - beautiful drive over Exmoor. Would definitely come back

Really friendly host, she was quick to reply to any questions. Caravan was lovely, with lovely views of the sea. Bit of a busy resort, but the kids loved it. Would stay again.

We've just returned from another wonderful stay at this property in Long Sutton. As returning guests, we were delighted to find it just as perfect as we remembered. The location is stunning, offering peace and tranquility, and the property itself is immaculate. This time, we particularly enjoyed the pool and sauna – a real treat! We can't wait to return.
