Great location, stocked with everything you could want.

The house was perfect for our 2 night stay. We were there for a birding trip and saw so much just from the porch! The house was clean and comfortable. It has a nice private feeling to it but is only a few minutes drive from whatever you may need. Elise and Seth are very responsive and did everything they could to make sure we had a great stay. We will definitely be back!

The most wholesome people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting, protect Parker at all costs, that man can walk on water.

We had a wonderful time at Hunter’s ridge cabin! The space is small but so thoughtfully designed and comfortable. It was perfect for our family of 2 adults and two little kids. The hot tub was perfect and we loved canoeing around one of the islands nearby. The kids loved the loft. We didn’t use the bike trail but it is right there and very beautiful. Very friendly hosts. Thank you!!

Perfect place to get off the road with our two young kids. Frozen popsicles, Hershey kisses, and Pac-Man, made the kids’ day! Very spacious, comforting, and cool wilderness areas on the property. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

If we could leave more STARS we would. Magical stay. Host made everyone feel at home and connected. We met everyone that was staying and had our privacy at the same time. Anytime we needed something it was hand delivered in moments. Thank you so much Cathy & Parker for opening this Ohio treasure up to the world. We cannot wait to return with our friends and family.

Beautiful place to visit. The studio was super clean, inviting and so comfortable. The view was beautiful- waking up to the sunrise every morning. A stone's throw to the beach, which was very clean and well kept. A great getaway for downtime and privacy. Not a lot to do other than the beach, but a state park only 15 minutes away. Would definitely book this place again!

This studio is located on top of the garage of another occupied home that is by the water. The landscaping of the home below is beautiful and well kept! You can view the water from the back yard of the occupied home or take a very short walk to Luna Pier, which we did every day. The appliances in the studio are nice, and the place was clean. Thank you!

We rented Ted’s place during birding week. The location is 7 minutes from Magee Marsh, with plenty of interesting birds of its own. The expansive views of Lake Erie are stunning. It’s easy (and so restful) to sit at the table or patio and lose yourself in the view, completely de-stress. We watched an eagle catch fish and immersed ourselves in an amazing sunrise. The kitchen window looks out on a marsh so even doing dishes is a treat. Ted’s place is really large. It had plenty of room for the 5 of us and can easily accommodate much larger groups. It’s mostly on one level, with walk-in showers, which makes it more accessible for older people. The kitchen, games, linens, local books, and beach/lake gear are well stocked. The beds are comfortable. The extra parking helps. Everything is clean and pretty. Ted is a responsive and considerate host. It was a real treat for all of us to gather by the lake for a couple of days of companionship, birding, and relaxation. I’d love to return.

The inside space is much bigger than it looks from the outside. We had 14 adults and 2 children in our group and there was plenty of space and beds. The view is spectacular from the large outdoor space. I would 100% recommend this rental though there are a few things to be aware of when planning your stay. First is there is really no usable beach with walking distance. There is a small area down the street but it was gross. There was litter (including an actual mailbox and post!) and dead fish everywhere. We would have had to clean a space to set up plus it wasn’t really sandy so we used the Port Clinton beach. Be prepared to drive 15-20 minutes to do anything including finding food or restaurants. Take your owns beach towels because there are only 4 provided and there are no on toiletries at all which was a first for us. The actual “extras” that most houses have are minimal such as games, bath and kitchen towels, toiletries and several bedrooms didn’t have dressers.
