Absolutely stunning stay at Deers Leap, loved seeing the bats, bunnies and Deer in the evenings. Met Kate when we went to purchase a coffee from her amazing horse box coffee shop and she was super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The climb up-to the yurt was a killer but totally worth it when you get to the top and see the view. Can’t wait to come back again soon!

Second time visiting and was just as perfect as the first, the barn is beautiful and had everything we needed for a weekend break, area was great with lovely places to walk the dog and communication with Siobhan and Dean was great, thank you! ☺️

The cabin was beautiful. Charlotte had thought of everything to make the stay and experience fantastic. Everything was clean and welcoming and a lovely place to be. I hope to come back soon! Thank you Charlotte for a wonderful stay.

The studio is beautiful and exactly what we were looking for as an escape from the city. The private sauna was the main reason for choosing Roberta's place and it really is a highlight, it has a beautiful view looking out over fields and trees and a shower you can run hot or cold. Although we didn't have great weather during our stay, the studio is very cozy and comfortable and warms up quickly by lighting the wood burner. There is a fridge and it is possible to make simple meals on the induction hob. It is indeed an idyllic setting and extremely peaceful (caveat: if you want a lie in, bring earplugs as the dawn chorus lead by nearby enthusiastic rooster is a rousing start to the day first thing). Well worth the drive down from London. We would visit again in a heartbeat.

A 10 star Air BnB - everything was simply outstanding; from the delicate pink roses on the garden fence outside the front door, beautifully appointed fittings and furnishings, super comfy bed, great shower, lovely kitchen with everything one could need and more but also really thoughtful touches, like a home-made cream tea and flowers on arrival, coffee and tea, to the added bonuses of lovely hand soap, fluffy towels, bread, butter and eggs. This - and all set within the grounds of such a beautiful house and garden and *quiet*, quite honestly the best stay away and we’d love to come back! THANKYOU so so much, Sharron it was simply *wonderful* and we were made to feel so very welcome by you, and all the love and effort you’ve put into making it such a special place for others to enjoy was not unnoticed nor unappreciated. The airbnb completely exceeded our expectations when we booked it. It looked even better in person with the swimming pool and jacuzzi being the main feature for us. It was a great place to unwind and relax with the host being very responsive and helpful. The views were amazing from our windows and the surroundings even better. Gemma answered all of our questions every step of the way and was very helpful when we were getting ready to leave. I would highly recommend this to any group of friends or even family. I will be definitely returning with friends as every single day was worth it.

We had such a wonderful stay at The Retreat! Jean was fantastic with all the coordination, responsive, kind, and thoughtful. She has created a beautiful and peaceful space that instantly makes you feel at home. The room was spotless, tastefully designed, and filled with small welcoming touches. We were pleasantly surprised to find croissants, fruit, biscuits and milk in the fridge waiting for us. In the morning, we had a lovely conversation with Doug, who shared stories about the local area. It was such a pleasure chatting with him. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. We only wish we had stayed longer and we certainly hope to return for a longer visit soon!

A Father’s Day surprise away and wow… what a perfect place! I treat my partner and his kids to a quirky ‘get away’. I wanted it be somewhere special so that he could spend quality, intimate time with them, without the distraction of technology. I can honestly say this place ticked every box. I was blown away by everything! This is definitely a place we will remember. From feeding the lovely goats 🐐 to relaxing in the amazing wood heated hot tub, to roasting smores on the bonfire. We just loved every minute. I HIGHLY recommend booking this place if you just want to enjoy some time as a couple or family, out in nature. It was so peaceful! I was gutted to leave but would definitely revisit, if I ever had the chance! Martyn, thank you so much for your hospitality and thinking about absolutely EVERYTHING possible. The communication has been second to none too. Thanks to you, we have two very happy boys and an extremely happy dad! ❤️
