Best value Air BNB in South Wales. Super comfortable mattress and lightweight quilt, meant for a great night's sleep following a 6 hour journey down from Suffolk. Warmly greeted by Harri and Emily was helpful with messaging on the day and in advance. Very peaceful surroundings and was easy to park car outside. Great amenities in the room for the price, enjoyed the Yorkshire tea, biscuits and sweets TV was fine. Ensuite was sparkly clean. Woke up feeling relaxed and chilled in readiness for golf at nearby Tradegar Park.

What a fantastic place to stay. The lodge is definitely a great find. The location is perfect. Sitting on a private lake it’s a haven of peace and quiet. Great facilities inside, everything provided is of a high standard - they have thought of everything. Rob and Rhiannon were welcoming, friendly and helpful hosts. We will definitely be back.

A nice clean house with good views over the valley, within good driving distance of most places in the south of wales. Comes with a fully equipped kitchen which is a rarity! Plenty of space and a separate bathroom & toilet is nice to have. Very clean property and I hope to stay again one day.

The perfect peaceful stop over. Very convenient for the bus into town and to Cardiff. Also, for walkers who have time, I hadnt appreciated hiw close it is to the the Sirhowy Valley Walk.
A serene river flows through a lush green landscape, surrounded by dense trees and foliage. The sunlight filters through the leaves, creating a dappled effect on the water surface. Smooth stones are visible in the shallow areas, enhancing the natural setting.

Bob has a very comfortable location for families who are visiting the valleys. My family greatly enjoyed the spaciousness of the house. Having a washing machine was a huge plus. I would be happy to stay with Bob again.

Cwmwbwb Lodge

I booked last minute as a trip for the dogs and I and I’m shocked this was available to be honest! Super light and airy, lovely amount of space for us and I easily took crates to put up. I always have the best time hiking the dogs in Wales and this is in a nice spot to various walks. Would love to go back and highly recommend!

I really enjoyed my stay with Martha. Although I did not get the chance to meet her, she ensured that I had everything I needed prior to arriving. The house was very clean and tidy. The area is nice and quiet. Thank you for the snacks.
