Stylish Victorian House with Private Patio in West London

Welcome to my newly renovated Victorian family home in a lovely, quiet street. Minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Shepherd's Bush/Holland Park/ Notting Hill. Eat al fresco in a private garden in the fine weather. Take your pick from a large collection of books and child-friendly accessories to m this a great family escape and a calm base from which to see the London sights! It's just a 3-minute walk to tube / bus stations and once you're on the tube, it's a 10-minute tube ride to the central London attractions. I am on hand with information to help your stay be fabulous! Welcome to my home where I live half the time but we are away a lot! I'm very child friendly - see the bottom of this section for the list of what I can provide you with in addition to cot etc... >Summary of my house: - 4 bedrooms... 3 double bedrooms with big, luxurious beds with very comfortable, pocket-sprung mattresses. A fourth sweet little bedroom with a single, very comfortable divan bed, that would suit an adult as well as a child. All beds are made up with cotton sheets and four pillows (two are down, two are hyper-allergenic so you can choose) - The house has two floors (levels). The ground floor has porcelain tiles (that look like wood!) and underfloor heating. The kitchen, living space, one bedroom and one bathroom are on this level. You can open the concertina doors from the kitchen and walk out into the patio. The downstairs bedroom has porcelain floor with underfloor heating, like the rest of the downstairs. - The upstairs bedrooms (2 doubles and one single) have carpeted stairs. And a stair gate at the top. - No one else lives above or below you... this is a house not an apartment. It's very clean as no-one wears shoes in the house. That was the summary... Here's some more detail... *Downstairs: - Entrance hall/stairs up - Spacious main open-plan living/kitchen area with large oak table and 8 chairs, two big sofas the other end for sitting and chatting, glass coffee table, TV with cable, Netflix (guest account), stereo which you can plug your iPhone/tablet into to play your own music. Plus selection of CDs... - Glass bi-fold doors leading out to the patio which also has an outside metal/glass table with 8 chairs. - Underfloor heating. - Very well equipped kitchen for cooks. Dishwasher, electric oven with grill, a glass electric halogen (induction) hob, microwave, Caffitiere coffee maker, blender, electric rice cooker, toaster. Also a washing machine with in-built tumble dryer, a dishwasher and large refrigerator/ice box. - Bathroom 1, with WC, basin and walk in shower (this bathroom is brand new as of March 2018) - Large double bedroom downstairs (bedroom 1 in the photos) with king bed (5 foot wide) at street level, with a bay window (with pretty white wooden shutters for privacy), wardrobe, underfloor heating, etc. With the bathroom next to it, this is a good room for someone who does not like to climb stairs as they can remain on the ground floor the whole stay and not have to climb any stairs. The bed has a pocket sprung orthopaedic mattress. *Upstairs... - Bedroom 2 has a king bed (5 foot wide, pocket sprung mattress), a tall wardrobe with hangers, an antique mahogany table and chair for letter writing... a chest of drawers for clothes, a large mirror, suitcase stands etc. - Bedroom 3 has a huge, luxurious super king (6 ft wide) divan bed with pocket sprung mattress and mattress topper. - Bedroom 4 has a sweet single (3 foot or 90cm wide) divan bed, suitable for an adult tor child, curtains with a farmyard print, and a little cabinet. There's not a lot of room do swing a cat but it's really sweet and cosy. - Bathroom 1 (upstairs) with bath and shower (shower is inside the bath rather than a separate walk in shower). Bath has an overhead rose shower and also a second shower head that you can use while sitting in the bath (I like this!). Basin, WC. Heated towel rail. That's it. It's yours to enjoy! If you are travelling with a small child/small children I can leave you: - high chair or booster cushion for eating at the table, if you are past the high chair stage! - crib with clean bedding (sheet, duvet, shallow pillow - baby monitor with video camera (Motorola) - rocker chair - a bed guard if you have a child who sleeps in the divan bed but you are worried he/she may fall out. I used this for my daughter from 2-4 years old. It slips under the mattress. - lots of books from ages 0-5 - wipe-able toys like abacus etc - board games - plastic crockery, junior cutlery Everything! The whole house and private patio/terrace.. You have the place yourselves! But I will be contactable throughout your stay by phone, text, whatsapp, FaceTime or email - whatever your preferred mode of your communication! When you book, I will email you with my big pdf guide document with my tips on where to buy food, swim, run, do yoga, eat out (best London vegan and gluten free restaurants included!) and some kids' activities and my secret London tips! And a second document which outlines how things work in the house (how to use the oven, the magic Quooker kitchen tap that gives you boiling hot water, filtered drinking water, etc). If you come at a time when I am on away then the nice chap in my local grocery store keeps the key safe and will release it to you once you give him a magic code... I will call you once you are in situ to make sure you are happy and answer any questions - and will be available throughout your stay. The house is an oasis of calm in the midst of bustling West London—near Holland Park and Notting Hill, but a bit more cosmopolitan. Walk to bars, restaurants, cinemas, Westfield shopping centre, White City House, Television Centre, Imperial College and various music venues. It's a 5-minute walk to Shepherd's Bush Tube Station and there are many buses to town if you prefer to be above ground. Very central. 5 minute walk to tube and overground train, 2 mins to buses. This is central London so it's very well-connected. PARKING: If you want to park right outside the house, you can. As with most London streets, it's pay and display - for £2.80 an hour. You can't park between the house of 6.30pm and 8pm however. For longer term parking, you can park in the Westfield shopping centre for £8 for an entire 24 hours - the cheapest place in central London! - and leave it over night for no extra charge - my friends all park there if they are coming to town! You can leave your car there overnight or multiple nights safely. It's a safe 5 minute walk back to the house, via Waitrose if you need some groceries! :)

Fabulous, Contemporary Garden Apartment in Balham

The property is light and spacious and the reception looking out into the private garden offers a tranquil feeling. I have created a 'London Theme' throughout the property. A good sized Master Bedroom with large King Size Bed, large wardrobe and chest of drawers and en-suite wet room (Shower, Toilet, Sink). Bedroom 2 has a double bed, large wardrobe and chest of drawers. Both bedrooms have a wall mounted television. The main bathroom has a bath with shower over, sink and toilet. The open plan kitchen and reception is ideal to both relax and socialise. Modern but homely, large kitchen bar counter with bar stools. A large comfortable sofa and a feature ‘spitfire’ chair. Separate bistro dining table and chairs. A large wall mounted television with sound bar. Full height glass sliding doors open directly out into the fabulous garden. The garden has a bistro table and chairs and a 3 Meter king built in seating bench (with made to measure cushions for comfort). There is also a built in braai / bbq and a decked area. Stunning lighting has also been installed to offer an ambient garden experience. We provide super fast unlimted fibre broadband for your added enjoyment and convenience. My Airbnb is a ‘permanent airbnb’. The property is for the exclusive use of guests. I live just a few minutes away from the property so am generally always available to assist where necessary, answer any questions or recommendations for local bars and restaurants. If you require any printing out of documents or business services, I also have an office close by and pleased to assist. Balham is a wonderful small London suburb with a village feel, with many fabulous independent shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants and pleasant nightlife scene including bars, old-school pubs, and the Banana Cabaret comedy club. There are many parks just a short walk away, including Tooting Bec, Wandsworth and Clapham Commons for green open spaces and picnics. Great rapid transport links into Central London via Tube or Train as Balham Station is just a short 5 min walk away. Just a 5 minute walk from Balham Station which is on the Northern Line Underground and on the National Rail over-ground both offering easy quick access into the City and West End. It’s just 12 minutes on the National Rail From Balham to Victoria and then a short walk to Buckingham Palace. On the tube it’s Just 20 minutes to the South Bank (Waterloo/Embankment) and a couple more minutes to Leicester Square. For the kids wanting the Harry Potter Studio Tour there is a train from Balham once an hour to Watford Junction where you catch the short 10 minute bus ride to the Warner Bros. Studio! Parking is available on the road outside the property and I offer complimentary parking permits on request. WATER I’m often asked about the water. Water from the taps is perfectly safe to drink. USB In every room we have plugs with a USB port for easy charging of devices along with a couple of international plug adapters GENERAL My aim is for all my guests to have a relaxing and wonderful stay at my Airbnb. For your convenience, all cleaning products are provided for you, this includes washing up liquid, cleaning tabs for the dishwasher, washing powder and fabric softener, toilet rolls, shower gel in bathrooms, liquid soaps and hair conditioner. In the unlikely event you run out of these during your stay please do call or message me and I will arrange a quick top up. LINEN We provide quality bed linen and towels for your stay. There are two balconies for a morning cup of tea or an evening glass of wine. Davey or Richard will always meet you at the property for check in and run through and questions that you have. Greenwich has a great village feel with cool restaurants, cafes, and Greenwich Market, as well as Greenwich Observatory. The flat is approximately five miles from Central London (just a short train, ferry, or DLR ride away). This spacious 2 bedroom house is very unique as it offers luxury contemporary design in central London with 2 outdoor private terraces. One terrace has a Jacuzzi, seating area and outdoor speakers, the other a BBQ & dining table and chairs with an electric canape. Both terraces have outdoor heaters. The two bedrooms are en-suites with super king size Vi-spring beds, White Company Bedding and Towels and Cowshed products to use throughout your stay. There is also Air Conditioning fitting in both bedrooms. The kitchen/living area is fully equipt with top of the range appliances including an induction hob, oven, chilled sparkling & still filtered water tap, a boiling water tap, top of the range Jura coffee machine, Kitchen Aid, NutriBullet and a large selection of condiments. We have a Sonos music system with speakers in every room and terraces which you can control from an app on your phone or the ipad provided for use during your stay. The house is also equipt with Apple TVs & Netflix. The whole house is fitted with underfloor heating and is professionally cleaned for your arrival. Guests will have private access to the whole house and all amenities. We will not be present during your stay. Guests will be welcomed into the property and shown everything that they need to know and then left to enjoy their stay. I will be available 24/7 by phone for any questions or help during or in the lead up to your stay. The home is centrally located in Clerkenwell (Zone 1) next to trendy Exmouth market with restaurants, bars and shops. A short walk takes you to Angel, Upper St and the Business Design Center. A 20m walk takes you to Covent Garden, Oxford St, Soho. There are several tube stations within walking distance. Closest is Farringdon (10 minutes), Angel (12 minutes) & Russell Square & Kings Cross (15 minutes). Several bus stops to central London located right outside the house. Farringdon also has a direct train to and from Gatwick Airport which takes only 40 minutes. Russell Square is on the Piccadilly line which goes directly to Heathrow Airport. There is Pay & Display parking outside the house (free on Saturadys after 1.30pm and Sundays) or an NCP nearby and several bicycle hire stations around the corner (Borris Bikes). The entire house is triple glased and has a heat ventilation system bringing a constant flow of filtered fresh air, the bedrooms also have Air Conditioning. We provide tennis rackets & table tennis bats and balls for use on the tennis court & table tennis table in the local Spa fields Park. These are free to use.

Peaceful Flat Close to Vibrant Dalston

The flat is my own, and I let it when I go away. Consequently it's a lovely, comfortable, easy space to rest and relax in. There's wifi, TV, DVD; and should you fancy, lots of spices in the cupboard for culinary delights. The street is quiet, if you're coming to east london to party this isn't the place for you, but if you are coming to enjoy the city, relax and be right in the heart of one of the most exciting creative areas in London, then this is a wonderful place. The flat is close to buses and the tube, and it's super easy and safe to get home from the centre at night. You have total privacy and are welcome to use the space. I’m available by text or phone. This apartment is on a quiet street in fashionable Dalston. Visit the Rio arts cinema, and browse the many cafes, restaurants, bars, hipster boutiques, and galleries that can be found right on the doorstep. Clissold Park offers plentiful open space. Bus to the end of the road, tube into town, it’s safe to get home at night. Relax and enjoy a little peace in the heart of east london

I live 20 mins away. I could be easily be available over the phone in case you need me to be with you :) The home is close to various cafes, eateries, supermarkets, a gym, cinema, and shopping options. There is also easy access to public transportation, offering a 15 minute ride into downtown. The flat is in London’s financial district- Tower Hamlets, zone 2. 6 miles away from the parliament- a total 36 mins from door step to parlament, if you take public transport. Tower of London is 3.4 miles away, 30 mins if taken public transport. Langdon Park DLR station is 4 mins walk away please confirm checking time before hand. TV has netflix.
