Hyde Park Apartment with Period Detail

Watch the world go by over breakfast from the bay window of this warm, inviting flat. Just a stroll across Hyde Park from the V&A and other museums, the home combines modern design, warm wood accents, and original architectural details. This beautiful apartment is a perfect base for anyone here on business or pleasure for 2 nights or a lot longer . It is perfect for exploring the city along with sight seeing . Oxford street is 15/20mins walk . Or there is the tube which is one stop away .With Hyde park at the end of the road 5 mins away . .Kensington palace royal Albert hall and the museums are all close by .being the other side of the park ,Notting-hill with portobello is not to be Missed on Saturdays . In the local area you will find everything you will need for a great stay in London pubs , gastro pubs cafes restaurants and local food stores all within a stones throw . There are a Nu of buses at the end of the road . You are within walking distance of the west end with everything you could possibly require during your stay . Paddington is only 5 mins away with the Heathrow express just taking 15mins . You are so central to this AMZ city come and enjoy it the way I myself do . This apartment will fit 4 people it has 2 double beds . There is a nespresso machine for all those that enjoy a good coffee in the mornings . The apartment is in a Stucco building as per photo and is on the first floor ,it is in a conservation area and cannot be pulled down or altered in any way it is true london for those that wish to sample it and go back in time . The back bedroom has french doors which leads to a small balcony . The apartment is light and airy there are no high rise buildings around it ,your outlook would be Stucco houses only as per photo shows . There is constant hot water for you and the apartment will be very warm and cosy for you in these coming winter months You also have winterwonderland which starts in november in hyde park for those that are here it is a fab night out . You are in a very safe area , no back streets or dark roads . I live just 10 mins away and after 40 years i still love it . Susie . There is a travel cot for baby with bedding for up to 2 years . The apartment is conveniently located near many of London's major museums, and there are two tube stations at the end of the road. For a morning jog, the Serpentine is a must, or just walk for a coffee and breakfast with a view of the lake. Lancaster Gate tube is at the end of the road and Paddington station is within 5 min walk. Also there are many bus stops at the end of the road . Paddington express is 20 mins from Heathrow . You are in central London walking is the best way to get around .I will advise you on the best way to get to the places of interest that you want to go on your arrival to make your trip is as easy as possible for you . We have 2 tube stations nearby . There is also a boris bike station at the end of the road cross over the road and you are in Hyde park to ride your bikes right around Hyde park and Kensington park and feel safe from traffic they have cycling lanes in the Park . There are 2 coffee bars / restaurants in hyde park over looking the serpentine which is a must , which is all within walking distance . You also have kensington palace which is adjoining hyde park . Selfridges is 15/20 mins walk for those that love a good shop being in the famous oxford street adjoining bond street and regent street ,and of course piccadillay .Straight across the park is harrods in Knightsbridge .along with there competition Harvey Nichols . Also there is the V/A. And the National museum . Getting around is easy as the tube is at the end of the road and has the central and district line . But everywhere is within easy reach . my advice is put on your trainers or some old comfy shoes and stroll around and take it all in ,why be stuck in the tube when its all near by . . There is also a Waitrose supermarket which is 5 mins away Waitrose is a higher end supermarket and this one is there Flagship store with lots of special 's . Across the park you will find the V&A / science /natural history museums and the royal Albert hall . Harrods, Sloane street and Harvey Nichols and Kensington place . Portobello market in Notting Hill Gate is open on Saturdays which is a must see. Selfridges in the famous oxford street is within 20 minute away or one stop away by tube .which would be about 5/10 mins . if your feet are tired you can easily pop back to the apartment for a rest before venturing out again , bearing in mind selfridges closes at 10 pm , sight see during the day then shop during the evening why not . The serpentine in Hyde park is a must to enjoy breakfast , lunch , dinner , or just a coffee to relax unwind and watch the wild life around you . If you are an early bird you will often see the guards horses being exercised A laundry service can be provided for all bed linen for guest that are staying for longer periods at extra rates .also a cleaning service can be provided for longer stays at an extra cost . Designer Retreat Near The Amazing Borough Market

Gently stylish, this hideaway occupies a sleepy backstreet in the regenerated London Bridge area. Food-focused Borough Market is minutes away, an historic wine bar waits next door and the Shard, Britain’s tallest building, is thrillingly visible from your bedroom window. The designer interior features original brickwork and a cobbled courtyard represent the Victorian origins of this building. There’s also an attractive kitchen and a long sofa for horizontal TV-watching. You'll be cosy, comfy and extremely content. No check-ins after 2300hrs. We re-furbished the apartment to a very high standard for our own use. The sitting room is large, comfortable & sunny, furnished with a beautiful Italian sofa, leather armchair, a ‘Noguchi coffee table. This is complimented by a walnut floor, designer lighting and an original restored Victorian warehouse brick wall. The dining area has a walnut wood dining table and four ‘Eames' chairs. This leads into the white modern, kitchen with white stone worktops. You will find the kitchen is fully equipped and includes an integrated dishwasher, washing machine / dryer, microwave,fridge and a Nespresso coffee make but you will need to bring your own pods. The bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed (often mentioned in reviews!). There is a large modern Italian wardrobe with drawers & plenty of hanging space. The design is completed with a stylish mirrored dressing and bedside tables. From this room double doors with a french balcony offer great views of the iconic ‘Shard' building. We offer guests the choice of either feather or anti-allergy pillows and duvet and a hairdryer is provided. The new bathroom has a modern white suite including a large walk in shower with both overhead rainfall and wall mounted shower heads. There is a large heated towel rail and full length mirror. We provide luxury shower gel, shampoo / conditioner and soap. Normal check-in time is from 4pm until 10pm, if the flat is available we are happy to accommodate an early check-in. We can receive guests between 8.30am - 10.00pm Monday to Saturday and only until 6pm on a Sunday, if you need to arrive outside of this time period please enquire if we can meet you before you book. We don't meet people after midnight, so please check your flight arrives well before 10pm as it takes about an hour and half to get into central London from both major airports - Heathrow and Gatwick and passport control can take up to an hour or more depending on where you're flying from. Access to the property is by a fob key through big, secure, double external doors leading into a pretty cobbled courtyard. The same fob key accesses another door on the left, which takes you up two flights of stairs to our apartment. There isn't a lift, but the stairs are manageable. Set on a cobbled street in Central London, the flat is around the corner from The Shard and the amazing Borough Market, Walking distance to the River Thames, the Tate Modern Gallery, The Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Other iconic sights are a short tube or taxi ride away. London Bridge tube station is a couple of minutes walk away. Buses & Taxis run regularly along Southwark Street around the corner from the apartment. Waterloo Station for British Rail is a 15 minute walk away, London Bridge British rail is 5 minutes walk and the river boats that run along the Thames are nearby. The hot water is set to come on twice a day. If you need to boost the hot water the switch is clearly marked inside the cupboard next to the kitchen. The heated towel rail also is set to come on twice a day...morning and evening. We have a Nespresso coffee machine and ask that you bring your own coffee pods. There are several Nespresso shops in London includin(URL HIDDEN)the huge Regent Street Store & inside Selfridges on Oxford Street.

Greenwich Park hosts the Prime Meridian Line and Royal Observatory as well as being part of the Greenwich Maritime World Heritage Site which is home to The National Maritime Museum and Old Royal Naval College. - See more at: (website hidden).lwsch7yo.dpuf Okay so some of my favourite places in Greenwich: Buenos Aires Cafe - (website hidden) The North Pole - (website hidden) Zeytin - Turkish Restaurant The Golden Chippy Easy commute in to Central London; transport is across the road from the apartment, mainline trains and DLR available. 8 mins to London Bridge, 13 mins to Waterloo and 18 mins to Charing Cross. DLR to Canary wharf in 8 mins and Westfield Stratford (Olympic Park) 20 mins DLR There is a thames clipper jetty located next to the cutty sark, this river service into the heart of the city provides an interesting alternative to the conventional rail transport. Contact for other price offers and discounts. Will consider as pet friendly The flat is fully stocked with the essentials for your stay so that you can have a home away from home. There are two balconies for a morning cup of tea or an evening glass of wine. Guests will have the entire flat I am available for guest queries and usually send a text the day after checkin just to say Hi and ensure guests have settled in. Davey or Richard will always meet you at the property for check in and run through and questions that you have. Greenwich has a great village feel with cool restaurants, cafes, and Greenwich Market, as well as Greenwich Observatory. The flat is approximately five miles from Central London (just a short train, ferry, or DLR ride away). Greenwich Mainline and DLR (URL HIDDEN) 8 mins to London Bridge 13-15 minutes Waterloo East 18-20 Minutes Charing Cross Station (Trafalgar Sq) There is also a Water Ferry directly from Greenwich to the O2 or The Centre. Tropical Paradise House near Victoria Park

Beautiful house, with loads of personality, It would be perfect for a family or a group of friends visiting London. The entire house has been recently renovated. Open Plan Living Very large open plan kitchen / dining area / lounge (family room) connected to 1st and 2nd reception. Sonos Sound System with speakers in kitchen / family room / reception room. Family room It has a large sofa and a vintage armchair. Kitchen Large kitchen with a long skylight. Kitchen has all the necessary appliances one would need including brand new appliances: Dishwasher, Oven, Extractor hood, fridge/freezer. Brand new plates, cups, wine and champagne glasses. Seating area has an antique pine dining table and 6 chairs. Utlity Room Connected to the kitchen by sliding door there is a small utility room with a wash-machine & drier, and space to dry clothes. Garden Huge bespoke bi-folding doors leading to Private Terrace & garden, with a door that opens straight to Mile End Park! Webber gas barbecue available for use. WC WC near Kitchen with a sink 1st Reception Room Cozy room with triple bay windows & high ceiling, large 3 seat sofa, armchair and a working stove (fire place) to add charm, another option for warming you up in this winter. 2nd Reception Room (formal dining) Amazing room with high ceiling, with a vintage 16 bulbs chandelier that adds personality to the space. A designer tulip carrara marble table with chairs, this is a perfect place for a special dinner with candles! There is also a vintage drinks cabinet, chest of drawers and cabinet with loads of interesting accessories. 1st floor Front bedroom: 2 Single Beds, chest of drawers, small sofa, and loads of natural light by 2 windows (one of them are triple arched) 1st floor Rear bedroom: Kingsize Bed, Wardrobe with drawers, sink and a private balcony with view to Mile End Park. 1st floor Side bedroom: Kingsize Bed, armchair, chest of drawers and a cot 1st floor Bathroom: fresh brand new bathroom with bath with shower. Guests will have access to the entire house. I will always be on the phone to answer any questions or help. The home is located on a quiet street right next to a nice park for a refreshing morning walk or winding down in the evening. There are a lot of local shops, restaurants, and takeaways just a short walk away. The home is just a 3 minutes walk to Mile End station (central line, district line and hammersmith & city line) - you will never have a problem getting around London. You can be in central London in only 15 min!
