Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Locarno

Stayed for a week. Nice and comfortable place with AC, a must in summer time. Expect 5 minutes walk uphill from the bus stop. Otherwise this place is perfect.

Beautiful, well-equipped apartment with a great terrace and perfect lake view as well as a parking space right in front of the house. The village of Acquaseria is quite small, but a good starting point for excursions by car. Communication with Claudio and his family was very friendly and proactive before arrival and also on site. Definitely recommended!

The apartment had everything you needed. Domaso was also very easy to reach on foot despite the somewhat remote location of the apartment. On the terrace you could sit wonderfully and enjoy the tranquility. The garden invited you to relax and read. If you had any questions, you could always contact the hosts, who responded immediately. Very pleasant all around! We will be happy to come back!

Maria was very welcoming during our stay. It was such a beautiful location with an amazing view, we chose to cook at home and eat on the balcony and it was perfect.

This appartement was clean and tidy. Windows and balconies on both sides of the appartement building. Easy walk to the nearest pittoresque village centers (1,5 km), two beaches near by, easy to park. On the front side of the appartement building one not so nice looking old construction building which has propably been like that for years. Otherwise very good appartement with the good price. 😊👍

Fabio was super friendly, open and helpful, speaks good English and is open to questions. He was more than "just" our landlord, but really a host! The AirBnB was great! We felt comfortable, the garden was super nice, it is nicely decorated, was clean and there were no problems at all. The location is also great! 15 min walk to the beach, restaurants, friendly people and also a supermarket in 10 min walk! The AirBnB itself is located on a quiet street and you have your privacy! We will definitely be back, dear Fabio!

This place is unbelievable. Stunning view of the lake and landscape, Mercy is 5* and the place has everything you need. Beautiful balcony that gets the sun all afternoon. Great spot for ferry pick up and explore elsewhere around the lake. Perfect place, perfect host, well worth it.

This was our second visit, we enjoyed it so much two years ago. It is a steep but lovely walk out of town away from the tourists (there is a bus if you time it right) but absolutely worth it for this delightful house with views from every window. Silvano is kind and helpful and we enjoyed olives and fresh figs from his garden.

We had a wonderful time here at Elisa’s. It felt more like visiting someone’s home than a rental apartment. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The air condition was an especially big plus during our visit. We especially loved the view to the mountains from the balcony.

Very nice house, Romana is very available, great hosting. We recommend this beautiful place, plenty of room for 4 people.

Beautiful and clean house, nice host, perfect location. The pictures are all accurate and the house is well maintained and equipped. 2 minutes' walk and you were practically at the lake and even faster at the "main street". Supermarkets were easy to reach, as well as restaurants. Things to consider when choosing: People over 1.80 could have problems (our tallest person was about 1.75 and was sometimes afraid). The parking situation was accurately described by Gianpierro, and most of the time a space in the public parking lot was free, but sometimes you would have to park on the slope to the exit (personally, I would recommend a small or narrow car for the vacation.) The soundscape at night did not bother us, but for people who cannot sleep with loud noises, it would be important to know that there is a fairly loud stream next door. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend it, all four of us were very enthusiastic and would book here again☺️.

We enjoyed the time there very much! Absolute recommendation!! The quiet house with air conditioning was perfect for the days at the lake! Very nice swimming beach within walking distance. Marino was available for every question in the shortest possible time, we felt very comfortable!

A very friendly hostess. Check-in was good and informative also about the area. Very cozy Rustico, with a small selection of staples, such as spices, coffee, oil. Very nice location on a small mountain stream with a great view. Calascio was a nice quaint place for us, very suitable for hiking.

The house is in the middle of nature with great views of the lake. Our dog loved the enclosed garden. Perfect for many walks in beautiful nature or as a base for exploring the beautiful villages of the area. Always happy to come back.

We had a great time! The location is fantastic, the pool and garden a real highlight – perfect for relaxing. Especially great: the garden is fully enclosed, also ideal for freedom-loving dogs. Communication with Paolo was also great – he was easily accessible at all times. Clear recommendation, we'll be happy to come back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Nobiallo. Camillo's place felt like home. Beautiful place to return to after exploring the areas by ferry or bus which is a short distance away on foot to Menaggio. Camillo was such a kind gentleman, he gave us a ride to the bus station when we left. The views from the balcony were incredible & a highlight of the trip. Highly recommend.

We had a great stay at Verena’s place. The apartment is located about a 3 minute walk from the historic center. The parking was really convenient. We were met on arrival and let in to the apartment where everything was explained to us. The apartment is spotlessly clean and comfortable.

We have had a great time in Lipomo, in Mattia's apartment. It has a soul, with lots of old things around, a large double bass in the living room, a library with lots of books (Italian😀), etc. Outside, there are many places to sit and enjoy, depending on where the sun is, or if you want shade. Eugenia (mother of Mattia) has been very helpful with information and help when there have been things we have needed or wondered about. There is a short distance to Como and many of the famous places around the southern part of Lake Como, such as Nesso Bridge and Villa del Balbianello. We enjoyed the idyllic lake Montorfano, and there were also some small, cozy restaurants. Brunate is definitely recommended, both during the day and when it is dark. We highly recommend Mattias' apartment ❤️

The place was very nice and equipped with everything that one needs to feel right at home. We really enjoyed the yard it has a great view and a very comfortable setting. Ginna herself was very nice and really welcoming. The location was bit further than what was on google maps but Gianna had already provided us clear instructions to get to the place so it wasn’t difficult at all to get there. Overall a great experience.

It was a very nice place to stay, everything was as described. The kitchen was very well equipped.

We were there for a family wedding which was nearby so was the perfect location. The building had been an old monastery which has been sympathetically and very tastefully renovated it was fantastic we had our own courtyard with loungers table and chairs, beautiful touches throughout can’t rate our stay highly enough 100%. What stood out was Luca himself he helped us enormously. We had a family dinner planned in the neighbouring town but found it impossible to get a taxi bearing in mind it was a Sunday and maybe not as many available even Luca tried but no luck so he took us in his car to the venue which I thought was amazing khe also helped to carry our luggage when we arrived and when we left very very helpful.5stars for the house and 6stars for the host.

The accommodation is located in the village on the hillside with a beautiful view of Lake Como. It was very quiet with us, you could only hear a rooster and donkey from the neighborhood. On foot you can quickly reach cafes, restaurants and a small supermarket and of course the beach. The place was very clean and cozy. We would mist definitely visit again.

The apartment is tastefully decorated and from the dining room and balcony you have a beautiful view of the lake. The garage is large enough for one car and two bicycles. The public beach is within walking distance. Absolutely recommended!
