Capitol Reef/Cactus Hill Motel 1

nice place! it's just like any other basic hotel but very clean and out in the country. They had a nice yard for the kids and also close enough to town with a small grocery store and anything else you need. I'd recommend it to anyone.

The house is really cute and located in a quiet, peaceful area surrounded by beautiful mountains. Kevin and Tina were incredibly kind and helpful. We arrived late at night, and they checked in on us, even offering to go to the house to turn on the lights and meet us there. They also gave us a heads-up that the phone signal might be weak, so we connected to their Wi-Fi, which worked well. They thoughtfully prepared a welcome package for us, including a s'mores basket, sparkling drinks, popcorn, and coffee—such a nice touch! Communication with them was excellent throughout our stay. The house had plenty of space and enough beds to comfortably accommodate all 11 of us. We truly enjoyed our stay! We definitely will stay at their house again.

The Reef House

KodieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved Keri and Irwin’s place! The location is spectacular, the furnishings and amenities are well above your typical Airbnb, and the check-in/check-out processes were a breeze. We selfishly considered leaving a ho-hum review because when the word gets out about this place everyone will want to stay here and we will never be able to get a booking again! Seriously, this place is amazing. Take seriously the listing’s mention of the dog hair though. They are completely up front about it so we were prepared going in but we definitely noticed the hair—especially if you use the blankets on the couch. I really appreciated their being up front about it because I’m allergic to dogs so I just avoided the blankets and took an allergy pill to be on the safe side and I was completely fine. The house is cleaned very well so we didn’t notice the hair anyplace else but if you have a very serious allergy (mine is not) it is something to consider. We will definitely be back!!

Cozy guesthome w/hot tub access, near Capitol Reef

Loved this space! It was well stocked and perfect for a few nights for me and my dog. It's super close to Capitol Reef - just 20 mins - and the night skies are something else. You can definitely see the core of the Milky Way if the conditions are right! I just wish I had remembered my bathing suit for the hot tub.
An inviting game room area features a ping pong table in the foreground, flanked by comfortable seating arrangements. A large flat-screen TV is positioned against a textured stone wall, while bright lighting enhances the spacious ambiance of the basement retreat.

Loa's Farm For Everyone close to Capitol Reef

StevenRating, 5 stars3 days ago
We had a memorable stay. Jim&Toni were amazing, wonderful, kind, & accommodating hosts. Making us feel at home. Jim generously took time out of his day to show us their beautiful farm so my daughters & I could pet &feed the animals: alpacas, goats, horses, cats, & even their dog, Maverick. The girls loved it. It was a rare & special treat. The farm is full of life, from the free-range chickens to the dogs they board in their kennel. We were provided fresh eggs & homemade butter, which made an amazing breakfast. The kitchen was thoughtfully stocked w/ oatmeal & other basics too. The farmhouse itself is charming, full of antiques evoking, warm memories of my grandparents’ farm. Staying here was nostalgic & comforting. At night, we enjoyed star gazing. Jim &Toni were incredibly responsive & generous with their time, despite their full lives w/multiple jobs & busy teenagers. Their communication & hospitality went above & beyond. We’re grateful for the memories and would gladly come back.
