We had a wonderful few days at Margaret’s Cottage. The cottage itself and the surroundings were beautiful and Margaret and her family were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Would highly recommend!!

Right from the booking stages through to leaving, the experience was great. Kayleigh was super helpful answering my questions at booking time. On arrival the house was clean and tidy. We sent pictures to the other guests who were arriving the next day and they all thought it looked amazing. The views over the valley are beautiful. We were in the area for a family wedding so did not get chance to explore the area this time but from previous visits to the area, there are lots of excellent places to visit and places to eat. The Old House is set in a lovely quiet location that's a few miles from the local town so driving would be necessary. It was lovely to meet Kayleigh. Thank you for a lovely stay.

My stay at Jeanette’s property was nothing short of exceptional. The accommodation offered a wealth of amenities, including a heated pool, an excellent selection of board games, and a charming log fire — all of which made for an incredibly enjoyable experience within the comfort of the home. The surrounding landscape was equally delightful, providing a peaceful and restorative atmosphere that made it easy to unwind and truly relax. What truly set this stay apart, however, was the host herself. Jeanette was consistently responsive, courteous, and helpful, answering all of our queries with remarkable efficiency and warmth. Her hospitality left a lasting impression. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to friends and family, and very much hope to return in the future. Without doubt, this was one of the finest stays I have ever experienced.
