We loved our stay in this little gem of an accommodation. The room and amenities were perfect. The location, directly on the canal was great and we enjoyed sitting with the ducks on the terrace. Our breakfast treats were much appreciated and enjoyed.

If I could give this place 6 stars I would! A stunning place, with everything you’d need and more for a super homely, comfortable stay. Gareth left us some fresh milk, bread and cookies and had a fridge and kitchen full of essentials. The beds were so comfortable. What a luxurious stay! Parking was easy and communication with Gareth was great.

This lovely little homely cottage was the perfect hub for our visit to the Brecon Beacons. Rural location but check-in details were provided and we were able to find the property with ease. Helen was proactive with providing recommendations and being available when needed. Fuss-free check-in with tea, coffee, milk and a fresh cake being provided, which was a lovely touch. Comfortable bed and fresh towels provided. Parking for Pen y Fan around a 20-minute drive away which was ideal. Great little place and a great host, would recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Fran’s cosy little hut. It’s the perfect retreat for anyone looking to disconnect from the busy pace of city and digital life. Surrounded by beautiful hills, forests, and rivers, it offers a peaceful setting and served us as a great base for our hikes in the Brecon Beacons. It was a bit tricky to find the place at first, especially from the direction we came, as it wasn’t entirely clear where the village ended. But we found it in the end with Fran's help. She welcomed us warmly at the gate, which we really appreciated. Fran was a thoughtful host, providing croissants and juice for breakfast, which we enjoyed in the small outdoor area in front of the hut. We also made use of the BBQ one evening, which was a very nice experience, looking out at the meadow with her horse and pony grazing nearby. We’ll definitely be back for another relaxing getaway.
