Oak floors and exposed stone walls add to the character of this cottage, not too mention the wood burner to curl up by after a day exploring this beautiful part of the country. The pretty village of Great Longstone is set in a wonderful location in the heart of the Peak District National Park, flanked by Longstone Edge, with Bakewell and Chatsworth House close by.

The annexe is attached to our family home, but has its own entrance.

Coachmans Hideaway Cressbrook An annex, in an idyllic setting as one of three properties within the grounds of Cressbrook Hall offering stunning views from the garden and woodland of the Wye Valley. Perfectly located to explore the Peak District with walks from the doorstep including Cressbrook Dale. The accommodation includes a mini fully equipped kitchen area, perfect for making breakfast in bed. The Coachman’s Hideaway is a room in our home but with its own entrance.

The cottage sits off the road with it's own drive, great gardens and private patio, along with ample private parking. Well behaved pets are welcome. All of this in the wonderfully picturesque Peak District village of Great Longstone, just minutes from the Monsal trail and Chatsworth House. Bakewell is also close by, along with lots of walking opportunities.

Black Swan Cottage

This lovely cottage dates back to 1570 and is thought to be the oldest in the village. It is Grade 2 listed and has a wealth of beams and character. There is a great log fire in the cosy sitting room for those long winter nights. You can begin many walks into Derbyshire countryside from the door and plenty of pubs are within walking distance. The River Wye runs through the village - perfect for cooling that bottle of wine.
