Luxury Cabin in the Snowy Mountains

TamaraRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Jimboolan Cabin truly exceeded all our expectations! As seasoned guests of tiny homes and cabins, we can confidently say this was by far the best experience we've had yet. The cabin itself is beautifully constructed, a testament to the incredible thought and care poured into its design. The peaceful ambiance made it the absolute perfect spot for a relaxing babymoon getaway. We absolutely adored the abundance of wildlife we encountered daily – kangaroos, wombats, deer, and more! My personal highlight was the bath; being able to luxuriate in warmth indoors while feeling completely immersed in nature was simply divine. A special shout-out to our hosts, Jacinta and Charlie! They were incredibly responsive and helpful, promptly answering all our questions and making us feel so well-cared for. This really was the most perfect stay

Moonbah Escapez “Wombat” Luxury Tiny Eco Home

JayeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Monika's Moonbah Escapez Wombat Cottage. Directions were so clear, we had absolutely no trouble finding the place. I do recommend arriving in daylight hours as the entryway is difficult to see at night, but easy enough to find with maps! The location is stunning, the home overlooks a beautiful creek and only the peaceful sounds of nature can be heard. Monika was very responsive to messages and answered any questions we had. Self check in was very easy. A 10-15 minute drive to Jindabyne, where there are plenty of things to see and do. The house itself was so cosy and romantic, especially with the fire-pit and outdoor tub. We absolutely loved our time here and wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you for having us Monika!

Marcomb Views

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! This beautiful home is only a 6-minute drive from Gundagai town centre. The views are magnificent and the house is so spacious, clean, well-designed and has all the things you need. Touch-pad entry made it easy getting in and out. It was peaceful and seeing all the natural wildlife and farm animals was a real treat! Thank you Phil for kindly allowing us to stay and enjoy this magical place of yours. We have certainly raved about it with our family and friends already! We wish you every success and hopefully will get the chance to visit again in the future! Best wishes, Michael, Lenard and Maria.

Cabin in Granya

Cosy Historic Miner's Cottage (Maudy’s Cottage)

RikiRating, 5 starstoday
Granya is an old town in an old area: encased by ridgelines to the east, west, and south, with the Murray River drawing a line across the north. It’s quiet: in the morning, we woke to the sound of cows mooing across the road. The limited sound waves is matched by the limited microwaves: that is, the limited mobile networks (only Telstra: be aware), not the cursed cooking devices. Microwaves promise efficiency, speed, and time-saving in your cooking: suitable for a world premised on an eternal Now, where taking a long time is a measurement of failure. Not so with Wendy’s place. The town is a few houses on fewer streets, with more land allocated to vegetable plots, chicken coops, and gardens than residences, with paddocks all around. Wendy recommends it as a chance to take it slow (a digital detox), and she’s right: a perfect little escape, perhaps. But escape is temporary. The question is: how do we make our escape permanent, collective, universal? How do we turn our dreams real?

Nariel Valley Farm-stay - self-contained suite

MikeRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Awesome stay, awesome host. Zero downsides as far as we are concerned. It’s a charming and comfortable spot on the farm in the beautiful Nariel valley. Lots of dirt tracks to explore and animals to see. It is the perfect get away from it all. Paula was fantastic, so responsive and attentive. Made everything so effortless for us which was really a huge plus. We are thinking of when to come back again because we had such a nice time.
