Vacation rentals with beach access in Leith

We had a great long weekend at Dr Kennedy's Waiting Room. The apartment is beautifully presented and equipped with everything we needed, exactly as described. It's easy to find, plenty of parking space, though care is needed getting out onto the road. It's just 5 minutes from the harbour and Pittenweem is a lovely little harbour village. It's one of a number of wonderful places on that coast, with St Monan's 5 minutes drive to the west and Anstruther, the largest of them, 5 mins to the East. St. Andrews is 20 minutes away. We had fish and chips from the Chip Ahoy (we would recommend this over the queues at the Anstruther Fish Bar - food is fine but not so much that it is worth the wait when there are plenty of other options), and a great lunch at the Dory Bistro. Sam was excellent at communicating, super quick to respond and made sure we had all the information we needed and that everything was as it should be. We can recommend without hesitation or reservation.

The place is stylish, comfortable and spacious - well stocked kitchen plus everything you need for a comfortable stay. The sea views are stunning. When we had a problem Arran came same day and sorted out a slight problem with the shower by replacing the unit with a new one. Couldn’t ask for more. The place

Can’t recommend this place enough, fantastic location with great views, lovely hosts and clean & tidy apartment. Easy access to Edinburgh and the airport, when I arrived I got a Taxi from the airport, if I’d have known how simple the tram/bus journey would have been I’d have done that, I did for my return journey. Local restaurants are lovely and welcoming (Saphire & Queens Spice), good pint in the Thirty Knots too! I arrived late in the day, to be welcome with bread and milk amongst other things was just wonderful, simple touch which went a long way! I would definitely return and recommend this to anyone looking Thank you to the host(s)

Thanks you for a fabulous holiday. North Berwick is an absolute gem and the flat is so well situated to enjoy everything there is to offer. Right across from the beach, the kids were thrilled! The flat was lovely and we had a very comfortable stay. The views from the living room window were stunning and I could have sat there for hours. The flat has everything you would need and lots of thoughtful extras. We were very sad to leave and will certainly miss that view! Thank you for helping us to have a much needed relaxing break in such stunning surroundings x

We felt comfortable and relaxed as soon as we arrived. The location is perfect for walking to the shops or the beach. The apartment was clean and free of clutter. There is a lot of natural light and we enjoyed opening the windows to feel the breeze and hear the sounds of nature. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe. Sharon was always quick to respond and made us feel welcome. My family has stayed at this property before and we will be recommending it to others! Lovely getaway by the sea.

The apartment was just perfect for our needs. 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and the views out of the kitchen.lounge and bedroom to die for. It was well appointed, clean and well equipped within walking distance of shops and harbour. The parking place was a bonus too. We explored the East Neuk and no place was too far. It was quiet and we loved it. Kirsten and Derek were perfect hosts communication was excellent would not hesitate to rent again. ,

Claire’s place was exactly what it looks like in the pictures. It is her home, so it is not clinical and soulless; it is homely and welcoming. It was spotlessly clean. Entry instructions were super clear. Claire was extremely helpful with bus/train details to get in and out of the city. There are tonnes of restaurants and coffee shops along Portobello High Street and also down onto the promenade. Being so close to the beach was an absolute joy - and The Beach House about a 10minute walk away did a terrific breakfast and lunch. Would totally recommend Portobello as a location and Claire’s place offered everything we needed.

Had a fantastic time here. Fung Tai was a perfect host. The house was clean, beautifully thought out and so central to Elie. She had lots of toys which entertained my 6 and 7 year olds for hours. Really loved how peaceful the setting was and would love to come back one day soon. Thanks Fung Tai!

Jennifer’s cottage is a great base to explore the beautiful Fife coast. The property was very well equipped and there was convenient parking in a free car park just behind the cottage. Many thanks, Jennifer

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely cottage with a view. It is a cosy and comfy cottage that is clean, well maintained and full of interesting and quirky pieces of art and objects. The views are amazing, you can see right over the water to the Fife coastline, which was wonderful for us as my husband is from Fife. It was so relaxing to sit on the window seat and watch the comings and goings on the little beach, binoculars are thoughtfully provided. There is a pub just down the road that has a garden with a view (drinks only, no food), there is a Chinese/Thai takeaway a few doors down (good) and a short walk away to Port Seton harbour there is a fish and chip shop, you can eat your fish and chips on tables by the harbour if the sun is shining (big portions). There is a good sized Co-op within walking distance for day to day provisions. The area has many lovely places to visit such as North Berwick, Dunbar and Haddington. We thoroughly enjoyed our week by the sea in Cockenzie.

A beautiful house with sheltered private garden. Great location in the centre of Elie. Ann was very responsive to messages. Comfy beds, beautiful kitchen and fabulous showers! We would love to come back!

We had a wonderful week Seacoast cottage, its a beautiful place with amazing views and right on the coadtal path but so peaceful. Alison was so helpful, friendly and approachable. The house has a lovely decor, fresh colours with a wonderful seaside atmosphere, real attention to detail which made us feel right at home. Everthing you need is there, great bed, gorgeous linens and you can walk to the harbour for a coffee or lunch easily. It really is special....Thank you Alison and Andy for such a special stay

Izzy's home is a lovely retreat. It is in a very quiet location, convenient for everything and within walking distance of a Morrisons Superstore. A few minutes drive from the railway station with free parking and with frequent services into the centre of Edinburgh. It has everything you need, including a washing machine and tumble dryer. The internet is reliable and very fast. We had a very comfortable stay and would certainly stay there again.

Excellent location with beautiful views of the beach from the Living room and Kitchen. It is location within a 5 minute walk to provision stores and restaurants. Also, for those who love walks along the beach , this is ideal

Great apartment, state of the art technology and decor. Close to restaurants and beach. Walk to multiple grocery stores and shops.

This is a fun place to stay, in a quiet neighborhood with fairly reasonable parking options for those who are choosing to rent a car. Definitely take a look at bus routes etc, as we did not find this spot to be walkable to most highlited areas in Edinburgh. The bus was an easy 5 min walk from the space and we found it easy to navigate with Google Maps. Over all the places was very well kept, the host was fabulous. The Art in the home is ALL female paintings, books, posters etc... quirky or creepy you decide. So if you don't mind women staring you down from every window covering, painting, or poster then you'll enjoy your time in this art filled space.

Karen's place is lovely. It was spotlessly clean and bright with lots of extras to make our stay comfortable; toiletries, extra blankets, nibbles and a good choice of reading material. A beautiful vase of fresh roses were really welcoming and much appreciated. It's a fantastic base to explore the East Neuk. That was our second visit to Karen's place and we might just come again sometime. Thanks Karen.

We had a great stay in Prestonpans. Visiting Edinburgh for the marathon this location was perfect for us. The apartment had everything we needed for a really comfortable stay and Georgi & Yoanna were so great - providing us with helpful information in advance and really paying attention to our needs and interests. We couldn’t have asked for better.

Loved the location in a lovely town with easy access to groceries, restaurants and pubs. Walking trails all around with incredible views. Easy access to Edinburgh with multiple options for travel from train, trams and buses. Also quick on/off if driving north to see the beautiful Scotland coastline and towns. Apartment had wonderful views and a well stocked kitchen. Host was very responsive.

Host was very friendly. Location is fantastic, the apartment is a lovely, very well-equipped and clean place to stay. Could not fault it and would certainly visit again if in the area.

We love coming to Angela’s place! So serene and the view is gorgeous. I love that it’s a little bit of peaceful heaven but close to downtown. We brought our guests from America this time and they loved it too!
